We had tried our vet's kennel and even the "luxury" pet kennels, but our dog is a "people" dog, and was definitely traumatized by those places, and it took days for her to get back to our normal dog. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.

About: I can't pass a pup in public without getting in a quick pet. If I'm meeting you for the first time I may or may not remember your name, but I'll remember every detail (including name) of your pup. I'm 50 years old, but when I'm in the presence of a furry friend, I start baby talking like a 2-year-old. Bottom line, I love dogs. I am Mama to 4 rescue pups and a rescue kitty. I've proudly fostered 9 rescues over the years and although it's a challenging job, it's extremely rewarding seeing them happy and healthy in their forever homes and knowing that I had a small part to play in that. I'm a stay-at-home Mom of two teenagers who don't need me nearly as much as they used too. That newly acquired free time enables me to accomodate almost any number of drop in visits per day to spend quality time with your fur baby! My pups are used to a specific routine and thrive when they are comfortable and know what to expect. With that being said, I'm happy to follow any care instructions that you request. From administering medication to going on fun-filled walks, your request is my command!

When it comes to dogs, I've pet-sat and done drop-ins for many peoples pets these past years. I love going on long walks with dogs that need them, and I understand some have limitations and may just need to be let out to the back yard too. I also love to play with the more energetic ones that want to play. I'm very respectful of your space and privacy. I'll make sure that if I stay in your home to pet-sit, everything will be back they way it was (pr better) by the time I've finished taking care of your dog. I can also administer topical and oral medications for dogs, so if they need daily pills or to have their flea and tick preventative administered, I can absolutely help! I'm also happy to provide daily check-ins with you regarding your pet! If you need someone detail-oriented, attentive, and respectful of your pet's boundaries, then I'm here for you. Pet sitting is my only job, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! The only scheduling concers would be if times overlap with other pet drop-ins or house sitting requests, but aside from that I'm very widely available. I'm happy to follow any instructions you leave regarding your pet's safety. If you need to ensure that child protective locks are always in place or that you dog gets crated at the end of the day, I can guarantee that will happen. I'm also very cautious of little escape artists, and will be sure that your pets are securely in your home as I'm leaving and entering.

My hours vary through the week but they are set depending the season because of school. I have a senior dog, so he can either be relaxed or playful. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

I am available all week and have a flexible schedule because I work full-time from home. This allows me to provide full-time care, attention, and supervision for your pets throughout the day. I’m able to spend quality time with them, keep them company, follow their routines, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We live on 12 acres providing space for your pups to run and be active! We also have a Safe and Cozy home , We can provide toys, crates and anything needed to make them feel at home 💕 Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I want every pet to feel like they are in a safe, calm, and loving environment while they are in my care. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, care, and supervision while following their normal routine as closely as possible. My goal is to create a comfortable space where pets feel secure, cared for, and treated like family. I always want both pets and owners to feel confident and at ease knowing they are in good hands.
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to one energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and two independent (but secretly snuggly) cats. Caring for such a high-energy breed has given me lots of experience with exercise needs, structure, and gentle training — while my cats remind me to always respect boundaries and read body language. Whether your pet is playful, shy, anxious, or a total goofball, I meet them where they are. I believe in kind, attentive care and keeping pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of shade. Our family has two dogs. Ava, a lab chow mix who loves other dogs and company; and Rocket, an older maltese. We also have two cats, Josephine and Henry who are very used to dogs and typically do their own thing. We work from home, so we are able to give extra care to your pet by giving potty breaks as much as needed. We live in a large neighborhood with lots of pet families and lots of paths for walking. We look forward to meeting you and fur baby / babies soon. Someone is always home. Both of us work from home. We have one son in college locally and another in high school. Lots of opportunities to be outside for potty breaks and exploring the backyard. Fully fenced in backyard with privacy fencing. We have lots of dog people in our neighborhood. Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. She was her happy, normal dog self. We are grateful for Maribel and highly recommend her.”
