About: I have a soft spot for animals because I grew up with lots of them and hope to help strays in the future. I’ve helped my mom my entire life with her dog business so I’m very familiar and comfortable with caring for dogs! I have a very flexible schedule so I’m typically available if needed. I am able to do a few drop ins a day and for long term clients, overnight stays. If your pet needs to be let out in a fenced area or walked I can do that along with feeding and providing fresh water when needed. Additionally, I don’t mind a little enrichment such as playing fetch or a little tug of war. All animals should feel safe and comfortable and I provide that feeling.

About: I’ve always grown up with animals in the home, a home isn’t a home unless you here the pitter patter of those paws of the floor. Dogs are at the heart of my being and unfortunately you can only have so many. But the best way I’ve found to experience the love of all kind of dogs are through the caring for of everyone else’s four legged friend. All the way back when I was in high school, many years ago, I discovered the love and care for others dogs when I worked for the groomers and it’s never stopped since. About: I retired from teaching 5 years ago and have been caring for pets in their homes, cleaning litter boxes and taking dogs out for exercise during that time. I have personally owned 2 large dogs well into their senior years. I have had cats my entire life and still have one. I typically take care of cats and dogs when their owners are away; feeding, administering pills, cleaning litter boxes, exercising/playing with dogs, and playing/cuddling with cats. I believe these visits have been the most rewarding activities of my life. As a retired teacher, I am flexible to care for pets any day of the week. I am also willing to stay overnight in your home and be your pet’s companion. I still have a cat of my own on whom I like to check at some point each day if staying nights at another pet owner’s home. Sometimes the owners I serve are away for 7-15 days at a time. I will send daily updates and pictures as well during your absence. I have been providing care for pets in the owners’ homes. I therefore water and feed the cats and dogs and administer pills, if needed. I clean litter boxes and tidy up, making sure pet hair, etc. is cleaned up. I get the mail and take out trash. I play/cuddle with the cats and exercise/play/cuddle with the dogs. I love to walk so I never get enough of walking dogs. I take extra precautions if dogs are anxious when I have to leave for a while, i.e., leave music or TV playing or do something special with the dogs before I leave. The dogs usually sleep in the bed with me and we become great friends.

I have a very flexible work schedule, so I am available to provide drop in visits and dog walks at any time of day on Monday through Friday. Since I offer drop in visits and dog walks, my priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their familiar environment. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll closely follow any special instructions or routine you provide. I'll also treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, cleaning up any pet related messes and accidents.
