About: Hello! I have been pet sitting for 5 years, either staying overnight or just stopping by! I absolutely love watching doggies and helping out when I can. I am able to do whatever you need, I will feed, walk, bathe, etc. i absolutely love meeting new fur babies!! I currently am a student at high point university, majoring in biology. Most of my schedule consists of classes that are about an hour long with hour breaks in between each class. I have a part-time job hosting, only 2 days a week at night time. I am able to take dogs out on a leash, let them out in a yard, crate them, or whatever the plan may be. I can also walk them and pick up after them if preferred! I will give them lots of love and make sure they are comfortable.

About: I’ve always had a cat for all I’ve known, from feeding the stray cats in Greensboro, to our family taking in pregnant cats to get them spayed as soon as we could— though most of them went into labor and we fostered the kittens! I’ve trained one of my cats to play fetch, helped my other cat get used to having three legs after a horrible accident, and now I am training my new kitten and desensitizing him to grooming, baths, nail clippings, aswell as brushing his teeth! “I was super anxious at the thought of leaving the most skittish cat I’ve ever owned alone for more than 24 hours for the first time. My 14 year old cat, Bitsy B, became an only cat in December when her long time companion crossed the rainbow bridge. I knew I had to find a reliable pet sitter and didn’t know where to start. I had pictured a reliable student close to my area and I came across Abigail’s profile and thought she’d be a great fit because in my mind, she was the trustworthy person I was hoping to come across. Before leaving, I was beyond impressed because my cat runs under the bed and hides when anyone new comes in then reappears after they leave. Bit didn’t go under the bed, and she even walked up to Abigail to investigate. That’s never happened so I knew my neurotic cat would be fine. I was probably really difficult to understand because at the time I was packing in a frenzy for a funeral, and I also have a special needs child with a lot of medical equipment and supplies to pack up, and my adult ADHD didn’t help so I felt like I just threw her in a messy house with a bunch of cat food and said “the cat is skittish but she didn’t run from you so you’ll be fine”. I am a very satisfied crazy cat lady and can’t praise Abigail enough for watching my Little Bit of a cat.”
About: I started volunteering with cats at animal shelters when I was young, and have fostered litters of kittens. I currently have 2 Miniature Schnauzers and they are my “children” and are spoiled rotten as will your baby when they are here. Dogs are not crated unless otherwise told. Pups are able to sleep where they feel most comfortable and if allowed homemade treats are given. They will be pampered & spoiled while they are home away from home. I am flexible and reliable and try to eliminate stress for all involved. If medication is needed, I am trained in oral as well as giving injections. Homemade treats for our precious babies are provided. Only the best. I work a hybrid schedule so I am home full time Thursday thru Sunday. Monday thru Wednesday I am in the office but home starting at 5:30 pm till morning. Fur babies are always supervised. Long walks are taken in the evening along with shorter ones thru the day. Nice wilderness trail to explore in addition to a park down the road for the more adventurous. Grassy areas close for those quick walks then in the evenings a nice safe walk around the neighborhood.

Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard as well as a carport/porch area. There is plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, that is no problem. There is plenty of space to take them around the yard for sniffs and potty, as well as walkable streets near our house, and a beautiful park with a walking trail less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" and come back, but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

About: Hello! I have been pet sitting for 5 years, either staying overnight or just stopping by! I absolutely love watching doggies and helping out when I can. I am able to do whatever you need, I will feed, walk, bathe, etc. i absolutely love meeting new fur babies!! I currently am a student at high point university, majoring in biology. Most of my schedule consists of classes that are about an hour long with hour breaks in between each class. I have a part-time job hosting, only 2 days a week at night time. I am able to take dogs out on a leash, let them out in a yard, crate them, or whatever the plan may be. I can also walk them and pick up after them if preferred! I will give them lots of love and make sure they are comfortable.
