About: I've taken care of dogs for 13 years. No kids and or animals at home. I love animals and welcome cats and dogs of any size or breed. I live walking distance from a soccer field with a great track for walks. Both of my senior dogs crossed the rainbow bridge recently and before their passing we had a nice routine going. I work nearby and will come home on my breaks to check on the pups and take them out on pee breaks. I have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, which I normally spend at home or on hikes at local parks. I do not have a fenced in yard. However, I have no issue with pets on the furniture and I have a spare room for crates.
“Karina did a wonderful job caring for our senior cat. She was responsible and had good communication, so we felt our cat was in good hands while we were away. She also took the initiative to clean the litter box without my asking, which was very thoughtful. Thank you, Karina!”

“Lily was able to come do a meet and greet, even though we booked late. She is lovely and immediately bonded with our new puppy. She came on time and helped us to feel good about leaving our new baby for the evening!”

“Sarah is wonderful and takes such good care of our dog! We are completely comfortable and definitely having her stay with ours anytime she is available. Pictures, daily notes, walks, and loving care. She’s awesome!”

“My pups enjoyed their visit from their new friend Melanie. While popping in to visit them, she took them outside for some sunshine and potty breaks. Thanks to Melanie I was able to travel for work without upsetting my babies routine. Thank you Melanie for taking great care of my babies!”

“Home drop in went well, after we got our communication straight.. Martini's first drop in and happy he responded well to the sitter. A true life saver when you're away and pup needs a potty break.”

I’m here to give you and your pet(s) the peace of mind we all are looking for when it comes to the things we love. And that's why I'm here! I provide in-your-home pet services such as: daily drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, pet taxi, grooming drop offs/pickups, vet appointments, and customizable services! Most importantly, I build real relationships—with both you and your pets. You’ll always know what’s going on, thanks to photo and text updates that show your fur-babies are happy, safe, and well cared for. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your furry friends! Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine and reflects my reliability. I make sure my pet’s needs—such as feeding, exercise, and grooming—are met on time every day. This routine has strengthened my sense of responsibility and helped me maintain dependable habits in both my personal and professional life. Most of my services are in the clients home. I offer daily walks on any preferred routes or if the client prefers, we can play in the backyard (if fenced in). Your pet will get the upmost love and attention.
“Kipton is amazing! She communicates well, is timely, and sends great pictures. When our travel plans were delayed she was helpful in extending the stay and was more than understanding.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 14, I have had a dog of my own and trained him to sit, Speak, shake, get the mail, get my shoes, and give me a hug :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE Animals so much and hope I get to have some time with yours! I currently Work full-time at foodlion on n Main Street but I live two minutes away from home. I am mainly home night and I have two days off work but if I’m off I’m always at home. I can be flexible when it come to boarding or taking walks because I have a set schedule at work but if I need to move things around I am also willing to do that. I live in a one bedroom apartment, we have a big place to walk around and play behind the building as well as a round about in the apartment complex. I use to live in archdale and know where there’s a big park where I can take dogs and just go for walk or runs and just have fun! I love to play frisbee golf with my friends but I don’t play seriously so if your dog wanted to Chase a frisbee or in my case help me find my then I’d definitely be up for that!
About: I have always had dogs growing up and got my own when i moved out. I have a 3yr old dog that’s fully trained by myself! I have plenty of free time and flexibility and can’t wait to spend it with your pet! I don’t have very many schedule restrictions and am home a majority of the time. I abide by any rules and schedules you may have for your home or pet! I worry when I leave my own dog, and want to make your time away from your furry friend as comfortable as possible!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 and neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and play with their dogs. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! Just reach out whenever you need a helping hand. I am a reliable and trustworthy person and would be more than happy to make sure your pet is well taken care of at home.
About: Hi! My name is Haley! My mom and I have two dogs, Blaney and Eli, and we love them more than anything else in this world. We adopted both of them when they were puppies. Blaney is a 4 year old pitbull lab mix (don't worry, I adore pitbulls) who has a ton of energy, so I’m prepared to deal with higher-energy breeds as well as puppies. We don’t quite know what breed Eli is, but we’re pretty sure he’s a husky collie mix. He’s 5 years old and is just the most loving dog I’ve ever met. Those two dogs genuinely are my heart, and I promise to take care of your pets like I’d want someone to take care of mine. I know how hard it is to leave your beloved pets for a few days, and I’m here to make that change go as smoothly as possible for your animals because I know mine would want the same thing. I’m considering going back to school and receiving the education I’d need to either become a vet tech or work in emergency animal rescue. I really cannot see myself going into a career field where animals are not present because my passion for them is so strong. I am currently taking a break from college, so I have lots of time and a pretty flexible schedule. I can easily accommodate you and your fur baby’s needs! I am available Monday-Sunday and on some holidays. Drop in visits will not only include whatever services are asked of me (such as feeding, walking, cleaning litter box, etc.), but they will also entail me giving your fur baby tons of attention. I’ll also make sure to provide lots of pics to keep you informed on how your pet is doing. For overnight stays in clients homes, I am happy to discuss any needs of your household and will gladly follow your expectations for my time in your space.
“Elizabeth is a treasure! She took such good care of my girls. They are ordinarily shy with strangers but really like Elizabeth. She sent many photos and updates. I enthusiastically recommend her and will use her again!”
About: Hello! I have been taking care of animals for the last 10 years. I have the most experience with dogs, but I love other animals as well! I personally have 2 dogs and pet sit for family members and friends as they need it. I have a huge heart for animals and would love to spoil your animal just like I spoil my own! I currently work full time as a nurse, 3 days per week. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule to do some drop by visits and dog walks. I have a large fenced in back yard and a quiet neighborhood for walking if needed! I have a lab and a beagle at home that I take care of and I watch my family’s dogs as well.
About: I have always had animals of some sort. I have experience with dogs/cats mainly. I enjoy feeding, walking, cleaning, trimming nails, giving meds, and ofcourse spoiling. I am available all week, and some wkends. I'm interested in making some extra $ while doing something fun and helpful, during the summer. I have the time and love to give. I have 2 kitty's that are spoiled but also love to explore the outdoors. Our 2yr old pooch loves running around the yard and getting walked to the creek and going to the park.

“It is always hard leaving my pup behind when we have to go out of town, but it was a little easier after meeting Joshua during our meet and greet. His love and knowledge of dogs and their care was apparent from the start. I highly recommend him and will use him again in the future! Midnight says thank you for the great company! ?”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for 4 years now for four different families. I’ve taken care of many different breeds and ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. I really have enjoyed dog sitting and meeting new fur babies. I currently work 7.5 hours a day, but I go in at 10am and usually have a good amount of time in the morning to spend time with the pups before I go in. In the evening I spend a couple of hours if I am not staying the night. Weekends are very flexible and I spend as much time with the pups. I like to meet before dog sitting and go over specific instructions the owner may have for me and to get familiar with the pet and where their stuff is at.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
