Valerie was extremely professional and kind. My pup has been cooped up in the house and needing some out time. She came in and allowed my dog to get familiar with her before letting her out. She was quick to respond and informative as well. I will definitely be booking again!

About: I’ve been taking care of my pets, since I was 19. I have experience walking all shapes and sizes, and even giving pets medicine if needed. Fortunately, I am very patient with pets that need a little more. I am recently unemployed, but I’m in school full-time. In a couple weeks I will be starting online classes so my schedule is pretty flexible. When coming into a clients home, I make sure the pet is comfortable with me. I will play, feed, walk and even work on commands if needed. If the client has a backyard, I will stay outside with the pet to make sure it’s safety. If the pet needs to be crated when I leave, I will make sure the pet is crated.

About: I've had three dogs. All of whom have since passed away. One passed at the age of 11 the other two were 14 and 15. Rescued one of them at the age of three months the other two were between one and a half years old and three. Have delt with puppy training , rescue behaviors, senior dogs and assisted with birth. They were all house trained and knew basic commands like, high five (paw), sit, stay, down, and crate by me. I'm retired right now so I have time to do what I love. My last two dogs passed away earlier this year. I know how hard it is to have to leave your fur babies at home alone and want to help others. My dogs were always inside and supervised when outside never took them to dog parks, but did take them for walks in the park. I would do the same when taking care of my client's fur babies.

About: I started off pet sitting small I had two regular customers. I would watch two cats for one and a dog for another. I have always owned a dog or cat. And would watch close friends and families pets. Then took the leap of faith and start with Rover. I do take same day bookings as long as I'm not full. I do stay busy have a few repeat clients already. I will work with you 100% and communicate 100%. Being reliable is key and communication is key. Daily routine for dogs or cats that are being boarded. Cats will always be in a safe designated area away from dogs if they are boarded. They get fed in the morning and evening normally 8am and 5pm or whatever the client wants. They go potty really early and throughout the day and their last potty break is normally around 10-11pm. They pretty much do whatever and just have a great time playing with other pets and making them feel at home. They are allowed on beds and furniture. You will always get updates daily and pictures. They will go on walks also. Now in home visits is whatever you as the client wants. I leave it up to you. Normally they get spoiled and loved on and go outside fed whatever you need. They also get very spoiled and pampered while being boarded. Safety and cleanliness is my top priority. I slowly and monitor every dogs behavior that is staying just to make sure they all get along. I always feed each dog separately as some are food aggressive. Your dogs bowls get clean after each meal and sent home clean. Floors get sanitized each day and vacuumed. Their dog toys, blankets and dog beds get washed before they leave so they are nice and clean. Dog poop gets picked up out of the yard daily. I do have indoor and outdoor cameras to monitor the dogs if gone.

About: I grew up and live in a household of 4 giant dogs, 2 puppies and 6 cats. One of our senior dogs had hip surgery and I helped him through recovery for 6-8 months; which involved carrying him around, doing special physical therapy routine and medication processes. We have two new puppies within the last year that I helped train and maintain. I am a college student who is looking for a part time job doing what I love. I think this is a great way to stay connected to animals and my community. I feel like this would be a great opportunity for me because of my flexible schedule. I am a college student who lives in a dorm with no animals. I miss having them around and would enjoy their company as well!

About: Hi! My name is Haley! My mom and I have two dogs, Blaney and Eli, and we love them more than anything else in this world. We adopted both of them when they were puppies. Blaney is a 3 year old pitbull lab mix (don't worry, I adore pitbulls) who has a ton of energy, so I’m prepared to deal with higher-energy breeds as well as puppies. We don’t quite know what breed Eli is, but we’re pretty sure he’s a husky collie mix. He’s 4 years old and is just the most loving dog I’ve ever met. Those two dogs genuinely are my heart, and I promise to take care of your pets like I’d want someone to take care of mine. I know how hard it is to leave your beloved pets for a few days, and I’m here to make that change go as smoothly as possible for your animals because I know mine would want the same thing. I’m considering going back to school and receiving the education I’d need to either become a vet tech or work in emergency animal rescue. I really cannot see myself going into a career field where animals are not present because my passion for them is so strong. I am currently taking a break from college, so I have lots of time and a pretty flexible schedule. I can easily accommodate you and your fur baby’s needs! I am available Monday-Sunday and on some holidays. Drop in visits will not only include whatever services are asked of me (such as feeding, walking, cleaning litter box, etc.), but they will also entail me giving your fur baby tons of attention. I’ll also make sure to provide lots of pics to keep you informed on how your pet is doing. For overnight stays in clients homes, I am happy to discuss any needs of your household and will gladly follow your expectations for my time in your space.

About: I have loved dogs and been a dog owner since I was four years old. Every dog is unique and has a special personality. A true gift from God. Dogs are amazing creatures who warm our hearts and become one of the family. I would always treat your special companion with love and affection. I would also love to help give your best friend some attention and exercise. I love long walks in the park with my dog. Currently my best friend is a three year old Beagle and Bassett hound mix named Huckleberry. He is my world. Sometimes I think he is more human than dog. I am available Monday through Friday during the day. I sincerely look forward to helping bring joy to your loved one. I'm currently working part-time and have lots of free time to play and love your furry companion. Also I live right next to Creekside Park. Wonderful, spacious and pet friendly. I always try to go above expectations when caring for your loved one. I always want your love ones to feel safe, secure and loved.

About: ⸻ Welcome to Mini Stays of North Carolina — where your furry family member gets VIP treatment every single day. As a dedicated dog lover and full-time dog mom, I know exactly how important it is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. At our cozy Winston-Salem setup, we offer limited, private suites so every dog gets real attention — not a warehouse full of barking chaos. Each suite includes soft bedding, fresh water, and a secure, comfortable crate for dogs who prefer their own space. Your pet won’t just be watched… they’ll be looked after. We keep things personal here. That means one-on-one care, customized routines, and outings tailored to your dog’s energy and personality. Whether it’s a chill nature walk, a ball-throw marathon, or a quiet day inside snuggled up, your dog’s day is built around what makes them happiest. And yes — you’ll get plenty of photos and updates so you never feel disconnected. We follow your dog’s schedule — early mornings, late nights, special diets, meds — whatever they need to stay comfortable and confident. We even plan dog-friendly holiday activities and enrichment days to keep tails moving and moods high. Book a meet-and-greet so we can learn what makes your dog unique and create the perfect stay for them. Mini Stays of North Carolina is where comfort, safety, and real love come together… and where your dog’s stay truly feels like a vacation. Pet care is literally built into my daily lifestyle as a full-time dog mom. I’m up around 8:00 AM, and from that moment on, my day revolves around keeping every pet in my home happy, safe, and engaged. That includes feeding, exercise, structured playtime, grooming needs, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I make sure each dog gets what they need—whether that’s walks, training touch-ups, mental stimulation, or just being held and cuddled. I also plan regular outings like park trips and dog-friendly adventures to keep them stimulated and social. Caring for pets isn’t a side gig for me—it’s part of my daily rhythm and something I genuinely love. Your dog fits right into that routine and gets treated like family from the moment they arrive. In my home: • I maintain a clean, pet-safe space with secure rooms, gates, and supervised access at all times. • Dogs are never left unattended around food, doors, or other pets. • I follow your dog’s feeding, potty, and sleep schedule so their routine stays familiar. • All outside time is leashed or in a controlled area, and I monitor every moment. • Crates/suites are available for dogs who prefer their own comfort space. In your home: • I respect your space and follow your instructions exactly as given. • Your dog’s normal routine is maintained to reduce stress. • I double-check all doors, gates, and safety items before leaving. • I send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet as if they’re my own, with patience, structure, and the kind of attention that builds trust and keeps them safe. My goal is always the same: a calm environment, a happy dog, and total peace of mind for you.
