About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was very young. Notably, I trained service dogs in undergrad for 2 years and had a service dog with me for that time. I am a graduate student and have a flexible schedule. I do not have a set 9-5 schedule and it changes every week so please reach out to see if your schedule works. I live in an apartment that has a large fenced in dog park within steps from my door that your dog will make many trips to. There are many friendly dogs within the area for your pet to play with if you choose.

About: I’ve personally had dogs my whole life! I have experience with caring for senior dogs as well as puppies. I have a special place in my heart for labs, but I love them all! I’ve yet to meet a dog I don’t like. I have experience is administering meds, crate training, and providing overall care to your pet 😀 As a dog owner myself, caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. For boarding, I offer Thursday evening drop-offs, and pets must be picked up by Sunday. This helps me ensure each pet gets the best care possible during their stay In my home, pets are treated like family. I have two friendly dogs of my own, Sunny and Ruby, so I understand the importance of maintaining a safe, loving, and structured environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection and attention. I also make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos so they can feel confident their furry family member is happy and well cared for

About: I’m originally from Rhode Island, where I previously cared for pets before moving to North Carolina. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have years of experience caring for dogs and horses. For the past two summers, I worked at a country club in Rhode Island where I regularly walked members’ dogs—some daily—as well as fed them, checked in on them, and provided companionship while their owners were away. I have two dogs of my own, Belle and Bubba, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, including puppies and senior dogs. I potty trained both of my dogs, and my experience includes feeding, walking, exercising, administering basic medications, basic grooming, providing companionship, and monitoring for any signs of illness or discomfort. What sets me apart is my strong animal background, reliability, and attention to detail. As an equestrian with 16 years of riding experience, I have a deep understanding of animal behavior and the importance of patience, consistency, and individualized care. Whether I’m caring for a quick puppy walk or providing attentive care for senior pets, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I also make it a priority to keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident knowing their pets are happy, safe, and receiving the best possible care while they’re away. I am currently working part time and don't have a set schedule. I can pretty much do Sunday-Saturday any time during the morning and can confirm time/dates once I know my work schedules! When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help their pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they're away. I am also open to boarding dogs in my home as long as they are friendly with other pets. I have two dogs of my own, a Cocker Spaniel and a Toy Australian Shepherd, who are both well-socialized and accustomed to being around other dogs. Any pet staying in my home would receive plenty of attention, exercise, and a safe, loving environment. They would always be on a leash in my yard since I do not have a fence. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, happy, and cared for, whether they're in their own home or mine.

About: Animals have always played an important part in my life. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old. I have over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry and care. Whenever a family member needs to go out of town, I am the person that they ask to feed their cats and dogs. In college, I took my roommates dogs out for potty breaks and walks when she had classes. In 2021, I stayed for 5 months at a friend's house pet sitting their Chihuahua and cat. I volunteer to walk the dogs at the Guilford County animal shelter every Tuesday. Not only am I a pet sitter, I'm also a pet owner. I currently am owned by four cats and one spoiled pitbull. I just returned from being a Peace Corps volunteer in North Macedonia. My usual fulltime job is TESOL instructor, and this can be done remotely. I am currently not teaching. I am flexible and willing to conform to whatever your pet needs. I'm willing to follow any directions or care that you require for your pet. As a dog walker, I have the equipment to complete the task. I keep poop bags, dog treats, and extra leashes in my car. If I am in your home, I will be sure to follow your directions and keep you posted with pictures throughout the day.

About: As a professional musician and social worker with over 10 years of experience, I have had my fair share of rewarding experiences by giving to others whether it be the gift of music or a higher quality of life. My passion lies in providing the service of others in need and animals are not at all excluded from that list. As a certified habilitation technician (care taker for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities; i.e autism, down syndrome etc.) I have witnessed the most meaningful interactions with all of my clients when there has been a pet involved. As a student at the UNCG School of Music I'm often surrounded by colleagues that utilize service animals to help them cope with the stress often involved in the field. It goes without saying that even though I love what I do primarily for a living, the workload can be stressful and anxiety-inducing. The detrimental effects of this lifestyle peaked when I was diagnosed with clinical depression (Major Depressive Disorder or MDD). Faced with several mental and psychological obstacles, I was in dire need of an outlet to restore my emotional health and freedom. God helped me to find this freedom in taking care of pets; especially dogs. What I realized about domesticated animals during this time is that they are often in need of the same emotional care that I and many others like myself who struggle with a mental illness need. They require patience, diligence, unwavering friendship, active lifestyles, and unconditional love just like all people (or at least every person I've ever met). Humans and animals have a lot more in common than most realize and I seek to express my gratitude for these similarities by serving and taking care of pets. It goes without saying that I am an advocate for puppy therapy of sorts. A wise person once said "It is more blessed to give than it is to receive". I have owned and taken care of pets for over 10 years and I strongly believe that by providing these types of services the client, pet, and I will all benefit harmoniously: I make a new friend, your pet receives the simple gift of unconditional emotional support, and you can take care of what matters most so you can get back to playing with who matters most!
