I work from home during the day doing research and taking a few evening classes. My schedule is relaxed and flexible, so I’m able to check in frequently, keep a consistent routine, and give pets the attention they deserve throughout the day! I'm currently applying to graduate programs and am focused on school, which means I will am available regularly during weekends and school breaks. Pet care is a perfect for me right now; I get out of the house, take a break from school, and spend quality time with animals! Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, a daily walk, or specialty care, I'm happy to build my schedule around your pet’s needs and be there whenever needed!

I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, notes, and whatever else makes you feel most comfortable with me caring for your pet! Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, fears, or preferences. I'm happy to keep a predictable schedule with an anxious or feral cat, spend extra time learning about exotic or intensive-care pets, or incorporate high-energy activities for excited animals. Additionally, if there are any behaviors that your pet does not like such as loud sounds, specific smells, or territorial preferences, I aim to be aware and eagerly accommodate!
A typical day
I like to spend a lot of time with a pet, playing, grooming, or going for a walk to build trust and a sense of familiarity, then I'm open to anything that fits the animal's interests and energy level! If your pet is a high-energy puppy, I'm happy to take them on long walks and engage in high-activity play; if your pet is older or shy, I'm happy to spend time building trust at their pace through grooming, play, and other calm activities! Whatever your pet needs to feel calm, safe, and secure I am happy to provide!

⭐ Veterinary Assistant Certified ⭐ 8 years pet-sitting & husbandry experience ⭐️ Dogs, cats, exotics, and farm animals! I've worked professionally as a cat and dog sitter, puppy/cat foster parent, TNR trapper, farm and stable hand, in animal laboratories and aquariums, and even at exotic bird sanctuaries; all that to say, I love animals! I’m now a proud cat-mom of two formerly feral working cats, the regular cat-sitter for a family with five formerly feral cats, and am an active TNR trapper for feral cats, having rehomed multiple stray/ferals in my neighborhood! From this experience, I now specialize in working with specialty animals or pets who are fearful or slow to warm up. I followed the pre-veterinary track in college and am Veterinary Assistant certified, with training in animal health, basic wound care, and medication administration. While my career path has shifted to biology and math, my love for animals has remained constant and I’ve continued caring for all kinds of pets in and throughout my life.
