About: Hello! I have been pet sitting for 5 years, either staying overnight or just stopping by! I absolutely love watching doggies and helping out when I can. I am able to do whatever you need, I will feed, walk, bathe, etc. i absolutely love meeting new fur babies!! I currently am a student at high point university, majoring in biology. Most of my schedule consists of classes that are about an hour long with hour breaks in between each class. I have a part-time job hosting, only 2 days a week at night time. I am able to take dogs out on a leash, let them out in a yard, crate them, or whatever the plan may be. I can also walk them and pick up after them if preferred! I will give them lots of love and make sure they are comfortable.

“Valerid struck me as quite competent and professional at her first visit. Best of all she seemed to hit it off right away with my cat, Lucille. It was obvious on our return that she'd done everything very well, and the best part was that she sent pictures of a very happy cat, especially of her being "skritched." Lucille can be shy with strangers but she seemed to take to Valerie right away, and that's the best sign. Valerie left the premises neat and tidy, another plus. About: Animals have always played an important part in my life. I have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old. I have over 30 years of experience in animal husbandry and care. Whenever a family member needs to go out of town, I am the person that they ask to feed their cats and dogs. In college, I took my roommates dogs out for potty breaks and walks when she had classes. In 2021, I stayed for 5 months at a friend's house pet sitting their Chihuahua and cat. I volunteer to walk the dogs at the Guilford County animal shelter every Tuesday. Not only am I a pet sitter, I'm also a pet owner. I currently am owned by four cats and one spoiled pitbull. I just returned from being a Peace Corps volunteer in North Macedonia. My usual fulltime job is TESOL instructor, and this can be done remotely. I am currently not teaching. I am flexible and willing to conform to whatever your pet needs. I'm willing to follow any directions or care that you require for your pet. As a dog walker, I have the equipment to complete the task. I keep poop bags, dog treats, and extra leashes in my car. If I am in your home, I will be sure to follow your directions and keep you posted with pictures throughout the day.

About: I've taken care of dogs for 13 years. No kids and or animals at home. I love animals and welcome cats and dogs of any size or breed. I live walking distance from a soccer field with a great track for walks. Both of my senior dogs crossed the rainbow bridge recently and before their passing we had a nice routine going. I work nearby and will come home on my breaks to check on the pups and take them out on pee breaks. I have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, which I normally spend at home or on hikes at local parks. I do not have a fenced in yard. However, I have no issue with pets on the furniture and I have a spare room for crates.

I am a full-time (online) college student. I get to choose when I want to do my school work. Typically early morning or at night, so it doesn’t interfere with the day. I am home all day unless there’s an appointment for myself/children. Other than that, my availability is open! :-) I have children who will LOVE to keep your pup company throughout the stay. We always go to the park, so your pup will come with us and have a plenty of fun outdoors!

About: I have been an avid animal lover my whole life and that passion has lead me to multiple careers relating to animal care. I've worked in retail, I've worked in shelters and rescues, and I've even done training and behavior modification. I just love to see that animals get the love and attention they deserve! About: I started a pet sitting/dog walking business when I was 12 years old and I worked for the whole neighborhood. Since then I have owned a Jack Russell terrier, a Greyhound, a Maltipoo, a Blue Heeler, and three cats. I have worked with animals, large and small and they all feel very comfortable around me. I work most every day from 10am until 7pm and I have a lunch break from 2 to 2:45 PM. It would be a breeze to fit appointments in around my work schedule. I am a chiropractor by profession, and so I know the importance of exercise, rest, and decreasing stress for my patients. Animals are no exception. They need to have a good walk instead of just using the bathroom and they need to feel calm and peaceful when their owners are away. I got you.

About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs at local dog parks and dog friendly restaurants or other locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard with a carport/porch area. Plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, there is plenty of space to take them around the yard as well as walkable streets near our house, and a park less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

About: I have worked in the pet industry for 11 years and counting. Ever since I started working at a vet I started pet sitting as well. Starting out for my coworkers and then for clients that came into my job with their pets. I love taking care of and being around animals of all kinds since I was a little girl. I love what I do! I am currently am employed full time at an emergency veterinary office and have a three year old son. I have no animals at this time, so my home is welcome for your fur babies :) Your baby would be well taken care of! They will get food, water, walks, bathroom breaks, and most importantly love! I do work full time but am home when I am not working so I would be able to hang out with your babies whenever I am not working. I can offer bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours when I’m not working, walks in the neighborhood, and plenty of love/attention. I have a three year old boy who love animals and knows how to play nicely and not be rough.
