Dog & Kitty Lover Extraordinaire
Our family has always owned dogs and cats since I was old enough to walk, so I am very familiar with basic care of pets. I have also worked/volunteered at an animal shelter for two years doing basic grooming, bathing and walking, as well as administering oral medications. That’s a total of thirty years of animal care experience! I’d like your pet to be as comfortable as possible when I’m there. Let me know what you prefer. I am familiar with crating animals if this is part of your preferred care instructions. I am also familiar with giving animals special diets. When my own pets were seniors, we had to do a lot of adjusting to accommodate their needs! So if your pet has a special diet they need to follow for whatever reason, just give me instructions and I can do it.

I am now working at Target. I work 35-40 hours a week. During the week I have 2 days off. My working days i can be gone a max of 8-9 hours. My shifts can either be 11am-7pm, 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-10pm, or any other shift time they come up with. I am available for daytime visits as well as overnight stays (“house sitting”). The daytime visits we could figure out some sort of set schedule if you don’t mind it being different than your own. And if you don’t mind your dogs being alone for up to nine hours I’m available for house-sitting as well. I can also do dog walks. Even though i now have a part-time job, this is a side job, i still take it just as seriously. It’s not just for the money that i do it. i also do it, cause i love spending time with them.

Valerie was great with Oscar. He had lost weight from some health issues the week before we left and was on medication. Valerie was able to give him his pills without any issues and he actually gained some weight while we were away. I was so happy! We will definitely use Valerie again in the future.
I am able to enjoy my vacation with family and friends knowing that my fur babies are well loved and taken care of by Valerie.

Schedule
I have given oral medications in both pill and liquid (syringe) form. I have never administered injectable medications, but I am willing to learn if that is something your pet needs.
