“Stephanie and Matthew were incredible with my dog, Jet! They were extremely reliable, sent me sweet updates, and Jed was calm and happy when I got back. I’d trust them with Jet anytime and highly recommend them to anyone looking for loving dog care!”

“Sully really enjoyed himself With Imani. She's sweet, caring and youll be able to tell when you meet her that your pet will be on great hands. Sully's really picky with who he likes and it didn't even take two minutes to get his approval 😂 will definitely bring him by again!”

“Zoey was great with my Jett! Zoey was friendly and accomodating and treated my Jett like her own. They went on lots of walks and she gave Jett lots of love and attention. She sent me photos on the night of, and the next day, even though it was just an overnight stay. I felt comfortable leaving Jett with her, even though Jett is high energy and very very needy. I will absolutely use Zoey again and soon!”

“Talia did an awesome job with our sweet babies! They were quite nervous and she gave them reassurance and space in a calm environment. She was very communicative with me and made me feel comfortable leaving our fur babies with her! ❤️”

“This is the first time using Rover, or anyone we don’t personally know. Holly was amazing in all aspects! Welcoming, helpful, accommodating, caring, detail oriented, and understanding. The many pictures and updates she sent were reassuring of the obvious quality of care she and her family were providing.”

“Brooke was easy to work with, accommodated last minute changes, and communicated quickly. We received pictures and regular updates on how our babies were doing. We will definitely use her again!”
About: I’ve taken care of my pup since July 2021. July, 2022 I took care of my dad’s dog (along with my own) for 9 days. I’m on hand for my dad when he has to go out of town unexpectedly so his dog is cared for. I currently work full time. My job is hybrid, meaning I’m in an office 3 days and work remote 2. I am available most weekends and evenings the days I work from home. I live in a townhouse, so for walks I use a leash. I do also have space for crates, if your dog needs one. Due to my living space, it may be more comfortable for your pet to stay in their home.
“Tina was amazing with our pups! She was incredibly communicative, both prompt in her responses before booking and went above and beyond in providing regular updates about how they were doing under her care. Thank you, Tina!”

“Rebecca took amazing care of Boomer!! Great communication and she sent pictures and videos throughout of walks and play time. She has a large fenced in backyard that is perfect. She went the extra mile of helping him eat when he was initially a little nervous. We will definitely book with Rebecca again and really appreciate the great care!!”

“She did an amazing job taking care of my baby girls, updating me every step of the way. Will definitely be using her again next time I need a sitter in Greensboro!! ❤️”

“Jakiah was gracious enough to take our doggo at the last minute. She was kind and extremely responsive. She sent several updates with photos. She was really accommodating for our pet who tends to be a little particular in his ways. Very grateful for her support.”

“Jane took such good care of our Winston! We received daily pics and videos, which was so important to us since it was the first time leaving him overnight with a Rover boarder. We will definitely use her again!”

“Georgie had a great time at Rachelle’s. She came home exhausted and happy. I loved the photos I received while I was away as well. Thank you for taking such good care of her!!”

“My sweet boy Boomer was so nervous when I was dropping him off. Ro was so gentle with him. I messaged Ro about 90 minutes later to check on him and she sent me a picture back of him standing next to her dog, Sadie. He was obviously very comfortable! Ro sent me several pictures of Boomer and he looked quite content. I’m so glad I found Ro to watch my sweet old man for me!! She’s fantastic!!”

“Gabrielle is awesome!!! Our usual dog sitter was unavailable. We had to find a new dog sitter last minute. Very responsive and courteous! Definitely will use her again. Guapo loves her and Yonah!”

“Words can’t express how thankful we are for Candice. She was an amazing sitter for our fur baby. She keep us up to date on his daily activities and overall report. I will definitely be using her again. Our fur baby enjoyed himself was it was like home. We can’t thank you enough. Thank you again 🤗”

About: Hey, my name is Evan. I am currently a graduate student at UNCG looking to provide high quality care for your pets needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or just chilling out, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I will take the time to follow your instructions closely. I aim to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. While you're away, I'll keep you in the loop with photos and messages. As for experience, I grew up with three cats and have cat-sitting experience, so I am familiar and have a good understanding of their needs. Also, I have a couple years of experience dog-sitting and dog-walking during my undergrad. During the summer, my availability is very open and have plenty of free time throughout the week and weekends. I also will be respectful towards the owners home, so expect the house to be in perfect order. I want to create a familiar and welcoming atmosphere for your pet, as if you never left. I also want you to feel at ease as the pet owners, so anticipate open and honest communication. My goal is to provide dependable care, plenty of attention, and a positive experience for both you and your pet! I am currently a graduate student and working part-time, so I have plenty of time during the day to provide high quality pet care. I live in a safe environment with plenty of space inside for your pet. There is also a big yard right outside my complex, as well as a fenced off area for pets.
“Theresa is wonderful! She responds very quickly, communicated thoroughly during the sitting, sends plenty of pics and videos, and I genuinely can tell she cares about animals. She will be my first choice anytime I’m in need.”

Chris was Ah-mazing! This is my 1st time using Rover and I'm going to be a repeat client. My Frenchie can be as stubborn as she is loving. Chris knee exactly how to handle her and she actually behaved with him...so surprised cause she is a diva and wants things her way. Thank you Chris for taking care of Misty! You were perfect for her🥰

Gia was awesome & so accommodating with the schedule! My pup was so excited to see her and literally had to be pulled out a comfy human bed because she didn’t want to leave! This is the first time thats happened with my cling on dog! Gia & roommates were awesome hanging & entertaining my pup. ❤️❤️❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
