I was raised around cats and dogs since before I could walk, I absolutely adore animals however at the moment it unfortunately doesn’t make sense to get pets of my own. That’s why I love taking care of other people’s pets! Prior to making this account on Rover, I volunteered at an animal shelter and have dog sat/walked for friends and family and completely fell in love with this line of line of work. I’ll happily play fetch or take your dog on a hike. I’d love to brush out your cat’s coat and entertain them with toys. I have experience making frozen enrichment activities for the shelter dogs as well. I would love to meet your furry family and sincerely promise they will be cared for with the love and respect that family members deserve.

Give me your rule book for your pets and I will follow it. I love going on walking trails so if you felt comfortable with your dog leaving the home I’d be ecstatic to take them on an adventure. Like I’ve said before, your pets will be treated as my family. I will advocate for your animals and protect them in every way that I can.

I highly recommend Shannah! I reached out to her with a last minute request for drop ins with my cat and she was amazing! She provided great updates and lots of pictures every day, and also handled the few issues that came up really well. She was super communicative, reliable, and my cat liked her right away. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!
Jax is already waiting at the door for Shannah!! She is awesome. Has taken him on adventures beyond the boring neighborhood. I trust her completely and she’s maintaining all the training he received and reinforcing it effortlessly. She’s been a true find. Thank you Rover and Shannah!!
Cooper just loves his walks with Shannah! He is so happy when he sees them. Shannah is great at keeping in touch with clients and being on time for appointments. You can tell Shannah loves their job and loves all kinds of animals!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule, I’m practically going to be there when you need me with in reason of course. Just about anything in my life can be moved around to accommodate you if I have enough notice. Things always come up and life is unpredictable so as long as we are both understanding of that for each other all will be well.

- I’d need to know about any training you’re currently working on so I can continue to implement it when they are with me. I’d need an address and phone number to your Veterinarian with a list of their medications and medical needs/diagnosis. I’d also need to know of any behavioral issues to keep in mind such as a prey drive or reactivity. If the pet has a bite/aggression history and what put the pet in a situation that made them feel the need to bite. I’d appreciate to know any PTSD you feel is relevant to share. Finally, I’d need to know any limits for your pet like if they can or can’t be picked up, have their paws/tail/ears touched, or if it’s safe to pull something out of their mouth as a few examples.
