About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 5 years and absolutely love getting to know your pets and you! I’ve cared for dogs, birds, rabbits and cats of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pets needing a little extra patience and care. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering oral medications, and supporting pets with anxiety or special routines. I always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I treat every pet like my own and keep communication open with regular updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is for you to feel at ease and your pet to feel happy and at home. I currently am in graduate school at Duke, so my schedule is flexible! That means I have plenty of time each day to play, walk, and care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, and I make sure every pet gets lots of attention and care throughout the day. I live on 13 acres of beautiful land with backyard access to trails, which gives plenty of space for walks and outdoor playtime. While the area isn’t fenced, I always keep pets safe and supervised during any time outside. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your furry friends will have my full attention and plenty of company while they’re here. I also know many pets feel more comfortable staying in their own familiar environment, so I’m always happy to care for them in your home. I primarily offer in-home sitting and make sure to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

We offer the most unique experience for your pets, allowing them to have their own getaway when you have things come up in life. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

About: I've had animals ever since I can remember. Big, small, smaller, just about anything you can think of I've had. I take pride in making sure all animals around me are happy and cared for. I can care for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and any small animal from hamsters to bunnies. I'm currently searching for a part-time job, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your animals. I love to be around animals, more than people. So, I've got time to take long walks and excellent care of all your animals. I always take my pups out on a leash. They are trained to go into their crates when we leave. All of my animals get plenty of exercise, lots of toys, and all my love. About: I have grown up with dogs and have been blessed by being able to love on my friend’s dogs through my college years. I have worked with puppies all the way to senior dogs! I would love a walking buddy :) I currently work three twelve hour shifts a week, so the four days I’m off, I can spend with your pup! I love to go on walks around the neighborhood, so your pup can come along with me! I don’t have a yard, but live in a large neighborhood with lots of sidewalks for walks! About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. About: I have been a fur mom since I was about 12 years old and have experience with all kinds of pets, including reptiles, chickens, hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, & chinchillas.
