“Sierra did a great job with our crazy dogs and was good at communication. She also sent photos. She took good care of the house while we were gone. She is a kind person, pleasant to work with. I would definitely hire her again! :)”

“Winter was amazing and cared for all 3 of our pups. We received pictures while she was caring for them and had great communication with us. Thank you so much again for caring for our pups! I definitely recommend Winter and will likely book her again in future if she’s available.”

About: I’ve been an animal keeper for the last 3-4 years working with various exotic wildlife and am currently the Vet Tech/Keeper for (mostly) lemurs. I have great experience and knowledge working with animals (including domestic pets). I volunteered at my local animal shelter working with dogs and cats for many years, doing routine tasks such as feeding, cleaning, bathing, and walking. Apart from basic necessities like feeding and cleaning, I also have great experience preparing and administering medications and am confident in my abilities to handle exceptional dogs and cats that may need more complex care. Outside of my work experience, I have my own personal experience caring for my family pets, including dogs, cats, many rodents, and now chickens. Since high school I have frequently pet sat for friends and acquaintances with a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and horses. I am available in the mornings most weekdays, with lesser availability on the weekends. My availability can be flexible upon notice. On weekends right now, I am available only in the late afternoon and evenings. Am only looking to care for pets at the client’s house due to my own housing and pet situation. I’ve cared for pets in this context before and first and foremost, I respect people’s property and homes and can be trusted to be professional and clean. I am flexible to work accordingly with the client’s preferences in regard to how they their pets need to be cared for.
“Shannon was amazing!! She took such great care of Rocket while we were away, it made the trip so much more enjoyable knowing he was in such great hands. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Meredith was great! She met them a couple of times before we left, which really helped our older dog with anxiety. She connected so well with the pups. She kept us informed with pictures and videos, so we knew our pups were in good hands. She treated our home with care, too, which was appreciated. We would happily book with Meredith again!”

“Alessandria did a great job keeping my dogs safe and happy. I appreciate that she was able to be flexible on times as I wasn't sure with the weather if we were going to make it back on time. The house was left neat and tidy, and she helped prepare for a bad winter storm coming.”

“Camila is absolutely wonderful! She is a great communicator and very trustworthy. Our dogs were very happy when we got home and our home was in great shape! She went above and beyond and we are so grateful for her! We will definitely be choosing her whenever she is available! We are so glad we found her!”

About: When I was 3, I picked out our family dog and that was the beginning of my lifelong love of all animals. I’ve cared for itty bitty critters all the way up to my big, intimidating (but secretly a big teddy bear) Rottweiler. Caring for dogs gives me a sense of purpose, and since I recently lost my Buddy, I would be honored to care for your baby as if they were my own. I live a quiet life on my own, and have a fenced in yard where they can run around or sniff to their heart’s content. I’m also happy to take them on walks and car adventures as they wish! I do work in an office M-F and am gone for about 7 hours during those days, but would be around all weekend as needed. I have a fenced in yard and am happy to abide by any requirements you may have as far as crating, furniture rules, diet, etc.
“Nick was an incredible sitter! I was nervous, as this was my first time leaving my dog with someone who wasn't a friend or family, and Nick did a wonderful job keeping in communication with me about how things were going. He also went above and beyond to keep my dog on her regular schedule, which made the transition seamless.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats, having grown up with a family dog and owning cats since early adulthood. I have provided pet sitting services for family and friends, including caring for animals with disabilities and those requiring medication. I am currently a veterinary technician student and work as a veterinary receptionist, giving me hands-on experience in animal handling and care. I work full-time at a veterinary clinic in Chapel Hill, so I have hands-on experience caring for pets and keeping them happy and healthy. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting on weekends starting Friday at 6 PM. For clients in the Chapel Hill area, I may also be available for weekday drop-ins depending on my work schedule. During boarding or drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pet comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine as much as possible. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, gets bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and playtime. I’m also happy to administer medications if needed and will always keep you updated with photos and notes after each visit. For in-home pet sitting or boarding, I create a calm, structured environment with regular feeding times, exercise, and lots of affection. I pay close attention to behavior and health, and with my veterinary clinic experience, I’m comfortable recognizing any changes that may need attention. I’ll follow all your care instructions closely—whether that’s special diets, medications, crate routines, or favorite activities—so your pet feels as relaxed and cared for as possible while you’re away.
“London is AMAZING!!! She took care of Baxter and Boscoe like they are her own babies. She sent me tons of updates and pictures that showed me how much she cares. We will definitely be using London in the future!!!”

About: I’ve been a pet mom for over 25 years while raising my five children. Since losing my loyal companion 2 years ago and empty nesting, I am ready to shower love and care to your beloved pet. There’s nothing like the unconditional love of a pet and I can’t wait to meet your furry companion! I am currently a companion to my 90 year old mother and am home every day. I can easily incorporate care for your pet into our very flexible schedule. I can offer walks, play and companionship to your pet and visits to dog parks if they like to play with other dogs. Deck available at home- yard is not fenced in. Beautiful walking area around the lake behind our home.
About: I have two years of professional pet and house sitting experience at this time, and a lifetime of care for my own animals and those of friends and neighbors - beloved dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, ducks. I love them all - domestic and wild, flying, fishy and furry. I'm a semi-retired educator and artist, reimagining my life now that my children are grown and flown. I love the way pet and house sitting fits the rhythm of my days, and I especially love the companionship, the sweetness and joy I receive from working with all the critters. I am particularly skilled with anxious animals. I am happy to accommodate medications and special diets and routines. I'm a reliable, available, joyful human and a solid, clear communicator, easy to reach with prompt responses via text or email. This is my main thing, not a side hustle. I think animals generally do better in their own homes. I'm honored to provide safety and comfort and a measure of normalcy when things feel upside down while their people are away. I prefer longer stays of three days or more so I can settle in with your critters; I am willing to drive longer distances for longer stays. And I’m more than happy to pop by for a weekend! I’m willing to do short-notice gigs if I’m available so don’t hesitate to ask. I enjoy new places, new experiences and new faces. I look forward to meeting you and your precious ones. I will respect your home and privacy. I consider a person's home their sacred sanctuary and I will treat your space with thoughtful, loving care. I have decades of experience in hospitality at my family's rental cabins in northern Michigan. I will take care of your space as well as I take care of your critters.
“Sherry took such great care of my fur baby while we were out of town. She was patient with him and followed the instructions I left. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

“Meg was awesome. Both of our cats and our dog immediately gravitated towards her. She left the house so clean it was wonderful to come home to. The pets were also nice and calm when we got home indicating they were very well taken care of while we were out of town. We told Meg that she could take our dog on a drive away from our apartment for extra enrichment and she went out of her way to do that! She genuinely loved our pets and they loved her right back.”

“Janine was quick to respond to our initial request for a sitter. This was our first time going out of town without our dog and cat, so we were a bit nervous about the process. She did a great job making us feel comfortable and kept us up to date while we were gone. Will definitely reach out to her again the next time we are needing a sitter!”
