About: Hey, I’m James! I’m a 37-year-old UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a degree in Biology, originally from Jacksonville, Florida. I’ve always had a genuine passion for animals—especially the four-legged kind—and a deep appreciation for the natural world. I work from home as a computer programmer, and I’m picking up extra work to get ahead on my mortgage. I’m someone who brings common sense, respect for your home and privacy, love for your animals, and I follow instructions to the letter. Whether I’m exploring the outdoors or spending time with furry companions, I bring curiosity, care, and a thoughtful approach to everything I do. I work from home as a computer programmer, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Pet care fits into my day easily—I’m able to stop by for feedings, litter box cleanups, playtime, or just to keep your cat company. Since I’m not tied to a commute or rigid hours, I can adjust to your pet’s routine and needs, whether that means morning check-ins, evening visits, or anything in between. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I focus on keeping things calm, clean, and consistent. I follow your instructions to the letter—feeding schedules, litter box routines, medications, or special quirks your cat might have. I respect your space like it’s my own and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for. With my own two cats, I’ve learned that patience, gentle attention, and understanding body language go a long way. I aim to give your cat the same level of care and comfort I give my own.

“We were very satisfied with Paola. She was easy to get along with and she was very calm with our active dog. We would book her again when she is available. Rita and Paige Tuttle”

“Brooke was an excellent pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life including dogs, cats, hamsters and turtles. I have been pet sitting in my neighborhood since I was 12. I know how to handle aggressive dogs and nervous cats. I’m home for the summer and have plenty of free time to take care of your pets! I won’t be able to continue after August. My house has a fence that prevents cats from escaping so they can enjoy the outdoors without fear of them getting out. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs.

“Chloe did an excellent job pet sitting for us. All of the animals were so well cared for!”

About: Loving owner of two beautiful and healthy dogs Sammy and Louis. Sammy is a miniature Australian shepherd (age 11) and Louis is a rescue pocket Pitbull (age 8). I have grown up in a household full of cats, dogs, Guinee pigs, ferrets, and hedgehogs so I am familiar with all sorts for four legged critters. I am looking for part-time work, and taking care of animals sounds like a dream job. My partner owns a dog walking service in our neighborhood in north Durham (Treyburn neighborhood). I have a wide open schedule at the moment, so if you're looking for a flexible care taker I'm your guy. I am available weekdays and weekends - morning, noon, night and overnight. I love and respect all of earths creatures, this goes double for our fur babies. I know we treat our dogs as if they were our own kin in our home. I will do the same for any pets I have the pleasure of meeting.

About: My fur babies are my heart! I take the time to actually get to know my babies so they aren’t nervous & so WE both are comfortable with each other! I want my fur babies comfortable and no where near stressed when visiting! I focus on making sure everyone is comfortable so we all can have a great time! I love showing my babies TLC and spending more than enough time with my babies so they are comfortable! I love animals so spending time with them and giving them extra tlc is my specialty. I am a bather at a grooming shop! I have my animal science certification from south Granville highschool where I completed both large and small animal science. I wash and cutt nails and clean ears for (dogs)! I can help with small things if needed during the visits! I currently work at a store and grooming shop! So I’m 10-4:30 most days out the week and have the rest of my day to myself. I have morning and evening and nights available! I work up to 5-6 hours l have time on my hands to make new fur friends🥰! I have time to come by and make morning visits, evening visits and nights! I do overnight stays! I have 4 dogs at my parents house of different breeds! (Chihuahua, shitzu, pitbull, German shepherd)My inside dogs are trained to not use the bathroom in the house, have full access to water and food as they please, so I have experience with big and small dogs. I make sure my babies have jackets or boots on depending on the weather outside! Their Paws are very sensitive so I think about small things like that!
