About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. About: I've had animals since I was born and spent my early years stealing the dog bed from our dalmation, Pepper. I began a dog walking service when I was 9 and provided regular walks, visits, and overnight care during college. I'm patient, friendly, and generally liked by all dogs I encounter. Cats usually love me, too, although knowing cats, I don't take it personally if they keep their distance. About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. Andrea is knowledgeable and attentive to dog personalities and was able to help our girl transition into a good routine with lots of love and exercise. Having our dog sleep in her own bed each night (with her blankie!) made it much easier to be away. I received pictures or text communication almost everyday.
