About: I’ve been taking care of animals for around 30 years. I have both fostered and owned animals as well as watched other. I have owned my dog since she was a puppy, so I have experience with younger dogs. I have helped family friends with their older dogs who need help moving around and cannot stay home alone. About: I have hands-on experience caring for both a senior dog and a high-energy Golden Retriever puppy. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, I’ve also pet sit for many other friends and family members so I have a good amount of experience with staying and taking care of animals!! I’m home from college for the summer and will be home all of the time so my schedule is perfect for pet care and I can be very flexible. In my own home I would put my cats in a different room and let the animals roam around with me. Since I don’t have a fenced in backyard they would have to be leashed to go outside. About: Hiya 👋 I am Kristyn and I love all things dogs! I currently have 2 of my own, Puck a 90lb hound mix and Hattie a 30lb pocket pittie who I love dearly. I spent a good chunk of my time volunteering at a local animal shelter in NY when I lived there and so I am well versed with working with all different dog personalities. I wound up adopting 2 from there, who have since passed, and had to work with them both on both stranger and dog issues. At my time at the shelter I did participate in dog training programs to help dogs get adopted and have used that within my own dog ownership with my own dogs. I went through the growing pains with my older boys so I am comfortable with seniors and have had plenty of time with puppies that I am also comfortable with them! When I first moved to NC I worked at an vet for about a year and a half as a kennel tech and vet assistant/helper. I was tasked with administering all meds to boarders and am more than comfortable doing so should your pup need!! I currently work from home 4 days a week but work right in Fuquay on the 1 day I am in the office. My son is currently in preschool 5 days a week and my daughter in daycare 2 days a week to which I am their school bus so just twice a day I have to take care of that. Otherwise more than able to walk between 9am and 3pm. But message me if times needed outside of that range and can definitely help out! I am available for in your home boarding/dog sitting as well as dog walking as needed. I prefer to keep your furbabies as much on your schedule as possible so a meet and greet is best to determine the best plan of action while out of town. Plenty of outside time or just relaxing inside as needed and time out of the crate if necessary! “Lisa & her family (and their own dog) are absolutely amazing! They watched our dogs for 2 weeks and I could easily see how happy George & Angus were. I'm always worried about people watching our dogs as they can be a handful, but they seamlessly blended in to Lisa home and family like they'd always been there. The whole family are clearly very experienced with dogs as they taught our boys a few commands to make feedings, etc. easier and took everything else in stride. They have a nice big grassy back yard where the dogs could get play and get their energy out. I absolutely will not hesitate to reach out to Lisa again as I can't recommend her highly enough.”
“We had an initial meet n greet the week before and they seemed to click with the house! They were kind of chill when I picked them up which was unusual but really cool. I was sent pics of them lounging on the couch, so cute. Thanks to Kristen, Paula, Bentley the moyan and to the cute teeny bopper (sorry I forgot your name hon but I'm old now so please forgive.) “Amber was a wonderful host for our shy dog. He was immediately happy to meet other dogs and be able to play in the fenced in yard. We received picture updates during his stay to reassure us he was doing well. Bruce seemed much less anxious to get picked up than he normally is when he has boarded other places in the past! “Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”
