After spending time with her, I knew everything would be fine. Although I was out of the country, Maria stayed in touch with me and sent pictures of my cat, a very human-centric feline. About: I’ve been caring for pets on and off since high school. In the summer of 2023, I helped my neighbor walk two dogs regularly—an older Golden Retriever and a young Pomeranian. I’ve also walked a large Standard Poodle and have experience with dogs of different sizes and energy levels. About: Extensive background training dogs (15+ years), experienced dog owner, opening up my home to welcome other dogs for doggie daycare and boarding. My current resident dog had hosted 25+ foster siblings each year since he was 6 months old. He loves to play but also loves a couch nap. Our children are young but have grown up raising foster dogs. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. “Alison treated our dog Ginger like her own. I wasn’t sure how Ginger would tolerate being away from home, in an unknown environment, because she can get anxious with change to her daily routine. But Alison was sure to keep me posted daily with pictures and updates. She allowed Ginger to maintain her usual schedule and habits as much as possible (sleeping in a bed, laying on couch, walks, treat time, etc.) Will definitely use Alison and family in the future.”

“Andrea was a God-send to us! We found her last minute before our annual vacation. My daughter and I knew when we met her she was a good person and very knowledgeable. Our Dolly is 5 months old and has had little to no socializing with other dogs. Andrea had no concerns and was open to the challenge! Dolly had trouble adjusting to a new place without her but Andrea brought her through each issue. She also sent us updates daily with pictures! Andrea is 5 star in every way. “We recently rescued a four year old foxhound who has been quite nervous and skittish. We were reluctant at first to use Rover for the first time, but are so glad we did and especially with David and Stephanie! They took fantastic care of Rooster and gave daily updates on how he was doing with other dogs and the new environment, and we loved seeing pictures of him with the other dogs and snuggling on the couch! He had a couple of accidents in their home and we are so thankful that they were gracious and kind, would absolutely recommend a stay with them!!”
“Mary and Jonathan are a very kind and caring family. They treated our dog, Olive, as if she were their own and we are grateful to have been able to find them on Rover. They sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the weekend, keeping us updated on Olive's stay. The amount of communication eased our anxiety and allowed us to feel certain that Olive was being well taken care of. We joked that Olive was on vacation during her stay with Mary and Jonathan. “Dan and Kevin are both very kind and respectful people who truly cared for my dog while I was on vacation. They took him for walks, comforted him when he was a bit nervous that I was gone, and even hand fed him his dinner to encourage him to eat. Overall a 10/10 experience - Dan updated me with lots of pictures and videos and it is clear my dog had a good time. We will definitely be back the next time I need dog sitting!”
