Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. Lesley and her family were absolutely amazing and took such good care of Zara. It was clear that Lesley loves animals and takes this “job” seriously. Lesley and her family truly welcomed and treated Zara as their own. It took Zara a while to warm up being in a new environment and all. But, once she did, you could tell she was enjoying herself. Lesley cared for Zara in the same way(s) I do; following our usual eating, sleeping, and playing routines. Lesley maintained great communication with me and provided me with updates and several pictures and a video. All of which eased my anxiety a ton! I can’t praise Lesley and her family enough! She was there for us and took our cat to the emergency center and waited there for a couple of hours, working with the staff there and keeping us posted while we made our way to the airport. About: I have a very calming, peaceful and patient nature. I let an animal approach me when they are ready. I start with appropriate treats and see how they react to me in order to build a relationship. I work part time until 6 every week day and I’m free on weekends, so I have plenty of time for walks to the park or to stay the night. In my home I have two dogs. I take them out twice a day for walks. They get plenty of belly rubs and kisses. One sleeps with me in my bed and is kind of my therapy dog, and he knows it!
