Lesley and her family truly welcomed and treated Zara as their own. It took Zara a while to warm up being in a new environment and all. But, once she did, you could tell she was enjoying herself. Since our original walk-through, my entire setup had changed, and I completely forgot to update her on several important details—including the special food that one of my dogs requires. Not only did she handle everything with grace and professionalism, but she also took the initiative to find the best solution for my dogs. She even went out of her way to purchase high-quality meat to mix with their food to make sure they were well taken care of. That level of care and attention meant the world to me. She kept me updated with plenty of pictures and communicated exceptionally well throughout the entire stay, giving me complete peace of mind while I was traveling. About: Been watching dogs since I was in high school. My neighbors, friends and family rely on me to watch their dogs whenever they’re away on vacation anywhere from weekend trip to multiple weeks away. I’m currently working part time so, I have plenty of time to check in on your pups! Currently available Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays any time. On Saturdays anytime after 2pm Have a dog to keep your fur baby company! She’s an older dog but loves to play chase in the backyard. If needed can put pup in crate.

About: I have plenty of experience. I would often pet sit for my parents neighbors and I always grew up with pets in the house. I currently have cats, dogs and chickens. I helped take care of my family dog from when she was a puppy until she was old and could barely walk. I have a dog I got as a puppy and trained him myself and I trained my parents dog when she was a puppy, I taught her all the tricks she knows. I also have a dog with epilepsy so I have experience giving medication. I’m currently self employed and make my own hours and I stay home with my step daughter so I have lots of time on my hands. About: Have owned my own dogs and cats over the years. As they've grown older and passed on, I have satisfied my love for animals by caring for my kids' pets when they go on vacation. I've gone to their house and stayed, but also they have stayed in my home while mom and dad are away. We go for walks, and I have a fenced in yard and doggy door them to come and go as they please. About: Growing up we had dogs and lived them all. Got on my own I had a total of 3 dogs and thought I would not have a cat but did and would not have traded her for nothing. Did pet sitting for an older small dog and all went well. Have raised 2 dogs from puppies and one was easy and the other not. I just love animals large or small and right now I'm without any animals. So to be able to take care of and play with dogs of different sizes would be awesome. Dogs and cats are so unique and they make my day and make me smile. Currently I'm retired and take my walks around the pond and feed the ducks as well Currently have some activities at church on Monday morning. Otherwise a doctor's appointment. My time is pretty flexible except for Sunday for church, My animals are always treated like family. They are not meant to be tied up outside either. I feed them well and of course some treats. My philosophy is they can sleep anywhere they want, including my bed. There should be a bed for the dog or cat in more.than one room. Do my best to keep them safe from hazards just like a child.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, but about 5 years ago I officially started working in the pet care industry... and honestly, it’s been the best job ever. I absolutely love dogs of all ages, from wild little puppies with zoomies to sweet senior pups who just want cuddles and company. I truly believe pets are family (basically furry children), and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pet wants nonstop playtime, a walking buddy, couch snuggles, or just someone patient and loving while you’re away, I’m happy to be their temporary fun aunt 🐾 I decided to take a break from working full-time so I could go back to school and work part-time instead. Since I’ll be doing school from home with a flexible schedule, I’m available to spend as much time as needed with your baby! I own a home with about a 0.5 acre fenced in yard. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work from home so I am home all day and can step away at any moment! I keep my calendar up to date so you’ll know exactly when I’m available (which is pretty much all the time)!! I love being outside and I know most of your pets do too! My apartment is kept cool and clean so they are more than welcome inside if they like it better than out!
About: I have been an animal lover all my life. I had my precious Shh-tzu, Mugsy, for 15 years. I I have debated getting another dog. I think right now I would just love to show love to other dogs. Great room in our yard for play! My husband and I also had a farm in Angier with horses, alpacas, a donkey, a sheep, birds. We loved them dearly. When my husband got hip surgery, and then cancer surgery, we decided to find them good homes. Miss them to this day. I have been retired for almost a year. Very flexible schedule through the day. I walk and play outside with them through the day. I spend a lot of one on one time with them. I will basically do whatever you feel comfortable with in regards to caring for your pet. It is just my husband and I at home now, both of us are retired. I am willing to take pets to the doctor or to beauty salon for a little extra expense.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life—often caring for more than one at a time—so daily routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and recognizing behavior patterns are second nature to me. I also have experience caring for cats and small animals, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I’m very detail-oriented and take the time to follow your pet’s routine closely, whether that’s specific feeding instructions, medication schedules, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys and habits. I understand that consistency is what helps pets feel safe and at ease, especially when their owners are away. You can expect thoughtful, reliable care and consistent updates so you always know how your pet is doing. As a teacher, I have expanded availability during the summer and can take on additional bookings during that time. Currently, I offer evening and weekend availability and do my best to accommodate schedules with advance notice. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog in my home who gets along well with others; however, I always introduce pets gradually and will keep my dog separated or crated as needed until everyone is fully comfortable. Pets in my care receive regular leash walks, plenty of playtime, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I follow all routines and instructions closely and am happy to accommodate any specific requests to make sure your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for.
About: My connection with fur babies runs deep. I have, often, felt more connected to animals than humans. I believe we all have had animals that we love but, usually, there is one animal that changes everything. You know the one I’m talking about….the one that the connection is (or was), somehow, different or deeper than the others. I call those animals Familiars. Maybe that resonates with you too. Either way, I fully grasp that trusting someone to take care of your fur baby is not just a big deal but, it is a privilege for someone to experience. I have thirteen years of experience taking care of different animals. This includes administering medications, providing senior/end-of-life care (I have a soft spot for the elderly), and learning to understand the language in which animals speak. I, also, have experience rescuing, fostering, and re-homing Australian Shepards. I believe in respect, safety, connection, and consent when it comes to animals. I believe that all animals come into this world to help heal us and I just want to be able to give back (in whatever way I can) a small piece of what they gift me, every day. It would be such an honor to help get to take care of, work WITH, and get to know your little (or big) ball of fur. As an Artist/Creator, my schedule is more flexible than most people. When planned in advance, I have ample time to make sure your fur babies are safe, happy, and healthy when you cannot be there! I ask a lot of questions so I can know and understand the specifics of what each animal needs. My primary goal is to make sure the interaction is safe, for both me and your fur baby. Then, it is my job to ensure your animal is comfortable, content, and they have a good time! I believe this can only happen by working with the owners (and then, with the fur babies).
About: I had 3 family dogs growing up who were my best friends, there wasn’t a day that went by that we didn’t spend time together. When they became seniors, I gave them my full care and attention up until they passed. Caregiving still feels like it’s a part of me, and I just love the happiness and joy that dogs or any pets bring into this world! Having gone from full time care to having so much more time is a big shift for me, so I would greatly enjoy to continue to share the love and care I still have with your pets as well! I work part time and find myself having a lot of free time and I would love to be there with your pet! I will make sure to schedule feeding times or drop ins around my work hours, and on my off days I’m more than willing to spend lots of time with your pet! When caring for your pet I will make sure they feel comfortable and safe by following their usual routines, giving lots of love, and making sure their environment is clean and secure. I want to make your fur baby feel happy and well-cared for while you are away!

“Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”
