About: After taking some time off from dog walking and sitting, I decided to come back. I have one sweet loving senior dog with kidney disease & an 8 year old to put through dance. A little about me, I have been around dogs for more than half my life. My first dog, Roxy, who was a 4lb chihuahua lived up to her 15 years of life and another chihuahua Mickey who lived to be 14 years old. I recently lost my sweet girl Holly who was a 14 year old Cavalier to heart disease. My current pups is a dachshund/ Yorkie named Audrey, who's one spunky diva, she is 16. Each dog has taught me a lot of patience, nurturing, love, and made my life a lot more happier than I could've ever imagine. They have traveled with me to every state up and down the east coast. We've lived in Miami, NY and now NC. I call them my circus of traveling companions. To some people dogs are just pets, to me dogs are my family. And that's exactly the care you'll get from me. Taking care of others pets is all I am doing for now. So know your dog/ cat will get one on one attention from me. Also, while house sitting my pups are well taken care of by my spouse. So there will be no interruptions over night. I will cater myself to my clients needs and do what makes them comfortable while in their home with their pets. About: In my role at Morrisville Cat Hospital, I was responsible for overseeing the daily needs of our boarding cats and cats who were being admitted for services during the day. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to: cleaning each cage or condo daily, administering medication and feeding, and being alert to/recording changes in a cat’s health such as vomiting, diarrhea, or noticeable weight loss. I also helped out by sanitizing & preparing exam rooms between appointments, assisting vets & vet techs with blood draws, vaccinations, and oral medicating. Prior to MCH, I spent several years fostering dozens of cats through the Foster Paws Rescue organization in South Carolina. As a volunteer with Foster Paws, I guided prospective adopters through an intake and paperwork process where I would collect and transcribe pertinent information, ensuring all documentation was complete and accurate. Being able to facilitate the adoptions of strays in my care with their new owners was very fulfilling to be a part of.

About: I’ve been caring for pets on and off since high school. In the summer of 2023, I helped my neighbor walk two dogs regularly—an older Golden Retriever and a young Pomeranian. I’ve also walked a large Standard Poodle and have experience with dogs of different sizes and energy levels. Some friends have trusted me with pet-sitting at my home; the longest stay was nine days, caring for a medium-sized Poodle and a small mixed breed dog. My current resident dog had hosted 25+ foster siblings each year since he was 6 months old. He loves to play but also loves a couch nap. Our children are young but have grown up raising foster dogs. About: I've had animals since I was born and spent my early years stealing the dog bed from our dalmation, Pepper. I began a dog walking service when I was 9 and provided regular walks, visits, and overnight care during college. I'm patient, friendly, and generally liked by all dogs I encounter. Cats usually love me, too, although knowing cats, I don't take it personally if they keep their distance. Currently laid off from my job, so looking for ways to earn some cash, make new furry friends, and get in my daily steps! Weekends are often booked with childcare for my granddaughter, but I'm available to spell your pups and kitties during weekday hours as needed. Depending on the animal, providing a good dose of pets, snuggles, and attention goes a long way. For younger or more energetic animals, play time or walking exploration is necessary. I often think about how bored some animals must get while we all work on a computer or watch TV. When I walk my dog, I make sure to let her sniff as long as she needs so we can get the interaction and stimulation with her environment that she needs. I try to be empathetic and imagine the emotions animals must feel in their interactions with us, so I just try to treat them as kindly as I would want to be treated in their situation.
