About: I’m a lifelong dog owner and true animal lover who has been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve pet sat for many dogs over the years—of all sizes, ages, and personalities—and I understand how important it is to have someone you trust with your dog. As a dog parent myself, I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, focusing on patience, safety, routine, and lots of affection. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home with a very flexible schedule and have few meetings or regular obligations outside the house. I share my home with a friendly three-year-old dog and a two-year-old cat—both are well socialized, and my dog especially loves playing with other dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, I can provide attentive, consistent care and easily accommodate additional dogs. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate dogs overnight or when I step out of the house if that’s part of their routine or needed for safety. When appropriate, I can also bring dogs with me on errands so they’re not left alone. I live on a quiet dead-end cul-de-sac that’s ideal for calm walks, and I’m also close to Forest Hills Park for longer, more enriching walks and exercise.
“Anitra was so supportive in taking my pup for an early drop off, it was great to see Sydney at the dog park right next to her home while I was studying for a big exam. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, and am happy to call myself a dog person! I’ve lived in the Durham area for two years with my partner and my pup Kaia. I am looking to shower your precious dog with as much love as I show my own, and your pup will always have a friendly playmate! I am a law student and my partner works from home full time so we are available for lots of daily walks, and have a fenced backyard for your pup to explore. I am compassionate, caring, and enthusiastic about meeting your dog! As tough as it is to leave your sweet pup, I give your dog the attention he or she deserves. I am in class 2-3 days per week and work from home the other days, and my partner works from home full time so we are always available for whatever your dog may need. Since I have a pup of my own, yours will fit right in :) I have a dog at home that loves to play! I also have a fenced in yard for exploring and a comfy couch for relaxing.
“Alex was so awesome! He was able to keep my sweet lillypad and helped me out tremendously! So thank you alex! I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the surrounding areas!”

“Jade was warm, professional, and provided attentive, loving care, and maintaining my dog’s routine perfectly. When I returned, my dog was happy and well-exercised, having formed a wonderful bond with Jade. I highly recommend Jade to anyone seeking a fantastic dog sitter!”

About: I’ve spent years caring for pets, including traveling to stay in people’s homes, and it genuinely never stops being a privilege. I adore animals so much. I’ve worked with pets who have special needs like diabetes, daily IV fluids, post-surgery care, blind or deaf companions, and seniors who just need a gentler touch. I have a 17-year-old dog of my own, so I’ve got a real soft spot for the elderly ones. I’m patient, attentive, and truly love being someone’s ‘stand-in human’ while they’re away. I work remotely and I’m a total homebody, so your pet would have company pretty much all day. I genuinely love being around animals, and I’d be thrilled to have your little one hanging out with me, soaking up all the attention and care they want. I’m an early riser, too, which makes my schedule super flexible for whatever your pet needs. I live in a cozy, secure studio in downtown Durham, just steps from some really lovely walking paths around Central Park. There’s a small dog park within easy walking distance, too. I’m also close to a vet, which gives a little extra peace of mind in case anything unexpected comes up. I have plenty of experience with special-needs pets, and honestly, they’re where my heart goes first.

With us, your pet won’t just be looked after—they’ll be loved. Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine. I work remotely full-time, and my husband David works hybrid, which means me of us will always be home and available throughout the day to give pets the attention, love, and care they need. We love having animals around and enjoy including them in our daily lives—whether that’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing together. With our playful 1.5-year-old Doberman and a lifetime of experience caring for pets. We create a calm, consistent environment they can feel safe in. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a secure, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Our neighborhood is quiet and perfect for daily walks, and there’s a dog park just half a mile away for pups who love to play and socialize. Our own dog—a friendly and playful 1.5-year-old Doberman—loves having company and gets along well with others. You can trust that your dog will be cared for in a loving home where they’ll feel safe, engaged, and treated like part of the family.
About: My entire life has involved animals of many types. I've rescued cats, dogs, and ferrets as well as wildlife in need. Animals are such a huge part of who I am and I love taking care of them. I'm very detail oriented and follow directions to the letter. I am able to give pets sub-q fluids if needed, as well as giving meds taken as part of a daily regimen. I'm also a firm believer in positive reinforcement with pet behavior. If your pup loves to play ball, loves walks or simply enjoys laying around getting some scritches I'm onboard. If your cat needs a calm, quiet place to hang out, or prefers playing with toys I'm able to provide that too. If you have ferrets I'll be over the moon happy to engage with them. Those little ones are my spirit animal. I telework on Tuesday and Friday, and am home every weekend. Depending on the needs of your pup I could do a day here or there, or a long term stay if your dog can handle being home alone on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Adaptability is one of my strongest traits. 😊 I live in a townhome, but there is a dog-park right across from my home and plenty of places to walk. I like to tailor my care to the individual needs of the pet, since they are like humans and every one has a unique personality. If your pet is a cat, they would have the run of the townhome except the master bedroom where my 15 year old cat stays (she has no interest in coming out of that room).
“Stop Scrolling and BOOK HOPE!💖! My Gigi is an older girl and Hope pampered her in the best wayas possible. She took her for a few short slow walks. She cuddled my baby girl and let her with sleeping in a comfy dog bed after watching ducks and squirrels play on her front lawn. If you want your dog to have a fairytale godmother✨ Hope, is the granny nanny for you.✨💖✨”

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

“Ross is awesome and my dog comes home happy, healthy and tired after doggy daycare with him. He has been flexible and accommodated my last minute requests and it’s very appreciated! 5 stars! ⭐️”

“Adrian is the best! He is super communicative and sends lots of pictures of your fur baby throughout the day so you can see what they’re up to! My dog has separation anxiety and requires extra care, and Adrian was super attentive, making sure that she was comfortable and happy all day long. We will definitely be back!”

About: We have taken care of pets since kids! We enjoy making your pet feel at home. We have a 3 year old lab named Blu. She is the sweetest dog ever and loves to play! You can trust that your pet will be safe and happy while you are away! I currently work part time, while my girlfriend works fully from home. This allows her to take after our dog Blu and watch over your dog all day! We do 3 hours a day of park play with potty breaks in between. Our dog is crate trained while we leave for periods longer than a few hours at a time. If your dog is also crate trained, we are happy to do the same. For house trained dogs we are happy to leave them out to free roam among request.
“Ashlynn was a wonderful host for my pup Hazel! Hazel can be nervous meeting new people but she clearly liked Ashlynn and looked very relaxed chilling on the sofa. Ashlynn was great to communicate and coordinate with too.”

Blake is the best!! My dog, Bodey, absolutely LOVES her and has such a good time at doggy day care with her!! I work long shifts and Blake is super flexible and accommodating. She communicates promptly and effectively and takes such great care of Bodey. Bodey gets so excited to see her, and is happy and tired at the end of the day! I would highly recommend Blake.

Missi was amazing! She took great care of my two dogs while I was at work. She was very communicative and responsive, keeping us posted with updates and videos throughout the day. She was considerate of our dogs’ needs and took time to make sure my anxious dog felt comfortable, and I felt at ease with them in her care. Can’t recommend her enough!

Myla was great and saved me when something came up without a lot of advance warning. It’s automatically stressful to leave my pup in new places but Myla’s calm demeanor helped me relax and focus on my own plans. I’m just visiting the area and she even dealt with me confusing streets and directions when dropping off! Rio was wall cared for. I’d definitely reach out to Myla for help again.
