Availability
I work full-time so for most services I’m only available in the evening or on weekends. I can host pets over for boarding during the week, but they would be alone for a maximum of 4 hours while I’m in the office. I make sure to take dogs out before work, during my lunch break and then at night. I have cameras and work close enough to home that in case of an emergency I can be with them in 5 minutes. I do ask that for boarding, if possible, the pet is dropped off after the work day so we can get acclimated with each other. During the weekend, I have all the time to play, walk and spend time with your pet! They wouldn’t be alone for more than two hours. I’d make sure to stick by the pet’s usual routine as much as possible - with walks, feeding, sleeping and napping.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment and although it is not the largest space, there is room for a crate (but if your pet prefers not staying in a crate that’s fine too) I’m more than happy to let the pup on my couch or bed - that’s what laundry is for! I live in a quiet neighborhood so we can enjoy plenty of walks. I’m close enough to a couple parks in case they’re good off-lease and would like to run around. I don’t have any pets and wouldn’t board pets from separate homes at the same time so as not to stress them, since changing environments is already stressful enough. I’m good at reading signs that pets are stressed, bored, or anxious and know how to react accordingly.

Information Julia B. would like to know about your pet
Vet information? What is the normal routine for the pet? When do they normally go for a walk? When do they get fed? Are they used to getting on the furniture? Are they used to having access to a yard? What are some bad habits they have? Any allergies? How are they on walks (anything sets them off?)
A typical day
We’ll on at least 3 walks a day, play as long as they like (I have a couple toys but if they have a favorite- please bring it) and just hang out!

Your dog’s new best friend <3
Pet care experience
I started taking care of dogs at 13, when my family got our first dog, Luna. I was responsible for all the care related to her - training her a puppy, potty-training her, walking her, bathing her and feeding her. I also took care of her through two surgeries and when she became a senior dog - and all the extra care that entailed, from special diets to feeding her medicine at the right time. I’ve also pet-sat for many family members and friends. Most of my experience is with smaller dogs, but I can handle big and medium dogs as well! I love and care for all dogs like they were my own. For the cat parents, I have experience cat-sitting for friends as well!
Reviews

Julia took great care of our puppy on short notice. We appreciate everything she did and all the cute pictures she sent through out his stay! 10/10 recommend !

Remi is an anxious dog but seemed to enjoy/was comfortable during her time at Julia’s! Julia sent a ton of pics each day so I was never worried about how she was doing. We’ll definitely be using her again! :)

Salem always wants to run and see Julia. My pup is anxious and Julia is very attentive to her needs and shares lots of updates with me.

Very professional! Highly recommend
