Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently a graduating senior, and as I transition into my post-grad schedule, I have more flexibility and time at home to dedicate to the pets I care for. I structure my days intentionally, making sure I can plan around each pet’s routine; whether that’s walks, feeding times, or check-ins throughout the day. I also work part-time, but I only take on bookings that I know I can fully commit to, so every pet receives consistent, attentive care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it’s not something I “fit in” since it’s a meaningful and prioritized part of my routine.

I currently provide care in my home, where I focus on making it a safe and comfortable space for every pet. Before each stay, I take the time to really understand your pet’s routine, like their feeding schedule, potty habits, energy level, and anything else that helps them feel at ease. My goal is for it to feel as normal and familiar as possible for them while they’re with me. I know the first day or two can be an adjustment, especially being away from home, so I try to move at their pace and build trust with them. I want them to feel like they’re in a safe space where they can relax and just be themselves. I make sure they’re getting enough walks, playtime, and attention based on their needs, but I also pay attention to their personality. Some dogs want to be active and play all day, and others just want to chill and feel comfortable, so I adjust accordingly. I also like to keep owners updated with messages and pictures so you can feel connected and know your pet is doing well while you’re away :)

It’s super helpful to know if your dog has any medical needs, allergies, triggers (like loud noises or other animals), or if they’re reactive on walks. I also like to know their routine: feeding schedule, potty habits, favorite toys, and how they usually like to relax. MOST IMPORTANT: please let me know if your dog is not fully potty trained. This is very important for me when accepting bookings. I do walk dogs several times a day and always do my best to keep them active, happy, and comfortable. However, since I may be away from home for short periods (class, errands, etc.), I need to make sure your dog is able to comfortably hold it while I’m gone. If your dog is not potty trained or tends to have accidents when left alone, I kindly ask that a crate is provided. This helps keep your dog safe and my space clean while you’re away. If your dog is potty trained, no crate is needed at all! But if they are not and a crate isn’t provided, I may not be the best fit. I just want to make sure every stay is positive, clean, and stress-free for both your dog and me. If accidents happen frequently without a crate, there may be a small cleaning fee added to cover time and supplies. I also like to know: * Any medical conditions or health concerns * Allergies or dietary restrictions * Energy level and activity needs (especially if long walks aren’t ideal) * Behavior when left alone (separation anxiety, barking, accidents, etc.) * Whether this is their first time being boarded The more you share, the better I can make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home with me 💛

Fun activities really depend on each pet’s energy level and personality. Walks are definitely a big part of our day, but I’m also very mindful that not every dog needs or enjoys long walks. I like to match their energy, so if they’re active and want to be outside, we’ll go on more frequent walks or spend time playing. If they’re more low-energy or just prefer to relax, I’m perfectly happy staying in with them. That can look like playing with their toys, a little indoor fetch, or just hanging out on the couch and keeping them company. There’s also a small grassy area at my complex where we can safely play and let them move around, which is always fun for dogs that enjoy being a bit more active. At the end of the day, I just follow their lead and focus on what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
What sets me apart is the genuine care and love I have for animals. Over the years, especially after having my own Yorkie, I’ve grown a deep appreciation for the responsibility and connection that comes with caring for a pet. I’ve been with him from puppyhood into his senior years, so I truly understand both stages and the different levels of attention, patience, and care they require. (He currently lives at home with my parents, but he’s still a huge part of why I care so deeply about the pets I look after.) In addition to my own experience, I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats, including both puppies and senior pets, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different energy levels, routines, and needs. I don’t just see this as a job but I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved while you’re away. I want to be someone they can trust, almost like their “auntie away from home.” As an aspiring doctor, I naturally approach caregiving with empathy, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and routine so I can provide thoughtful, consistent, and compassionate care every time.

Jade was a phenomenal sitter for my kitty! She was communicative and always available, and she went above and beyond with her care. She cleaned up an unusual accident my kitty had, and even brought Amazon packages in for me. I truly hope she’s available when I need her next because I will definitely be using her again! Highly highly recommend!

Another great stay with Jade! I feel better at dropoff because my dog is always so happy to see her. He barely looks back at me to say goodbye 😆

Jade was the best! She is so sweet and caring, our puppy is only 6 months old with a lot of energy and growing so big and Jade watched her for several days in a row. She noticed multiple habits and quirks we forgot to mention and definitely developed a bond with our pup in the time she watched her. Jade was very intentional with updates which we appreciated overall we highly recommend, we would definitely book again (:

Jade was great! She was responsive and took great care of my dog. My flight back got delayed several hours and she was flexible and accommodating.
