About: A few years ago, I lost both my very senior dogs, which I adopted as puppies from the shelter. As you can imagine, there's a dog-shaped space in my life. I'm not ready to adopt again, but that means your dog has a second home! Other than errands, I’m home all day with your dog. (If they like car rides, they’re welcome to join me for school dropoff and pickup!) My yard is fenced and shady, and there are plenty of sidewalks for adventures around the neighborhood. If your pet needs a crate, please provide it. I almost always have more than one dog at a time, so yours needs to be dog-friendly or at least dog-tolerant. I also have twin 11-year-olds—both great with dogs, but yours should not be kid-reactive.

I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!

About: I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! About: I’ve lived with or taken care of dogs since I was young. More than 20 years! We adopted our family dog,Thompson, who was a chow mix, from Animal Control when he was 2-3 years old. He was with us for over 10 years. In the past 6 months, I’ve done house and pet sitting for 2 pit bulls at one home, a a feisty cockapoo at another, as well as stayed with an elderly yellow lab and her feline roommate. I’ve helped with the 2 latter owners several times. I’m semi-retired, and when I have a contract I work from home. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From my first mixed-breed pup in high school to raising my first Siberian Husky from just 3 months old, I've always loved caring for dogs. Honestly, I wish I'd known sooner that I could get paid to spend time with these amazing companions! I've house-trained my own furry babies and have loved watching them grow up alongside my hooman kiddos. Seeing the bond between them has been incredibly rewarding. Our home is full of love, and we can't wait to welcome your pup into it. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or snuggling, they'll be treated like family and receive lots of love, attention, and care while you're away. I work from home and with both my kids now in school I have plenty of time to play and belly rub your fur babies throughout the day! I have a fenced yard with a friendly husky who loves to keep company to all hoomans and pups alike! I also have 2 kids who adore dogs—it’s a constant game of who gets who tired first. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
