Hello, my senior dog of 14 years passed away recently, so I am looking to get my pup fix in while also helping you out! You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate!

Grant was wonderful with our dog Lucia, providing several daily activities, walks, and mental stimulation. He was great with communication, very accommodating, and friendly. Grant is very active and attentive and loves to take dogs out on adventures. Lucia was so content when we picked her up. I know she absolutely loved spending time with Grant. I would highly recommend him to any dog owner!
Had such a great experience with Grant! He watched my chihuahua for two days and sent me cute videos and photos which I loved. Super easy to communicate with and really flexible. Would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others!
Grant did a wonderful job watching my Doberman and Dobie/husky mix. They loved going on walks with him and were always excited to come over to his place to peruse through their toy options. Grant working from home and enjoying an active lifestyle gave me peace of mind that my pups were always going to have company and exercise. It’s clear to see Grant enjoys being with animals, and it was a pleasure seeing how happy my pups were to see him every time.
Grant has taken care of my dog on multiple occasions and it is clear he truly cares about her and her happiness. He attended to all her playful needs and is mindful of our requests. I would recommend Grant and will be asking him to watch our baby again.

Schedule
I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them!

Safety, trust & environment
I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!
A typical day
Your dog is in for walks, run, putside and insode playtime, and generally anything that they desire! I am a fairly active individual, so I can provide whatever level of energy your dog needs!
