I currently work part time from home, and part time dog walking & pet sitting in Durham. I am very communicative, reliable, and have a flexible schedule. I value providing a safe, engaging environment for pets, meeting their needs, and respecting the cleanliness and privacy of your home. In general, I enjoy spending time with animals and tend to have a calming presence with them, especially with shy and anxious clients. I also have my own dog, a rescue mutt named Cricket who is reactive, so I have a good deal of experience with leash reactivity. I’ve personally cared for animals my entire life including many dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and others. I worked as an Animal Caretaker at a vet for over a year when I was younger (lots of experiencing handling, cleaning, and administering meds). I love walking, playing, petting and even training basic and more advanced obedience skills. I’ve worked with many different types of dogs, especially working breeds and feel confident and comfortable working with dogs with “high-maintenance” needs. I’ve also sitted for less traditional pets including bunnies, chickens, pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, parrots, and fish!
