About: I have always been a cat person. Since I was a babe. Since our first family cats. The Gray one that we named 'Smog' used to try to lick my face! Even though we grew up with mostly outdoor/indoor cats and I have even befriended some semi-feral 'barn cats'. When I got *my* cat, I was very slow to begin to let her outside freely. I understand that some cats are better suited to being indoor only cats. I know some of the 'tricks' to making good friends with cats, and one is just for them to see you enough times in a calm state that they feel they can trust you. I deeply care about helping cats feel safe and nurtured. Once I know their personality, I am really good at knowing if something different or difficult is going on with them. I have made some really beautiful connections with different cats and seen amazing abilities from them when befriending new people.

Aaron stayed with my kitty, Paris for an entire week (which is the longest I've ever been away from her in 14 years) and things could not have gone better. He showed up promptly when he said he'd be there. He sent me updates and pics throughout the day ever single day even on days I told him I wouldn't have service. It was so nice to open my phone and have updates from the day before even though I wasn't expecting them. It was an even better feeling knowing that Aaron truly spent a lot of time with Paris as she is old, sassy, and needy for attention. About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and have spent a years pet sitting for friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc. I LOVE animals of any kind and would love to spend time with your little ones! I recently took a break from Rover for a couple years but I’m back and ready to take care of your pets in Boise! About: From am early age I was introduced to animals and loved them, I currently have 2 cats of my own. I ran into the issue of not being able to board my cats anywhere when a pipe burst in my apartment and we had to relocate for a bit and it made me realize that while many hotels and boarding options are certainly dog-friendly, we seem to have forgotten to consider that some of our feline friends need a place to spend the night too, so I decided to offer overnight boarding for cats! I'd love to help make someones vacation a little easier on their feline friend while giving them peace of mind that their kitty is not locked in cage 24 hours a day. We also would be very happy to host small canine buddies who tolerate cats well Please send a message if you have any questions! I work outside of the home part-time but have a very flexible schedule, and will always be present at the home during your pet's stay. Our home is located in a cul de sac with a large backyard, with a tall fence all around, and one back gate with a latch. Please let us know if you do NOT want your pet to have access to the backyard and I am happy to oblige, and please also let us know if they are a flight-risk 😂. They would basically hang out with the cats and I and have free range of main living areas and their own quiet room next to the living room, and/or our room for overnights if your pet does not like to sleep alone. I have no problem waking up every few hours if your pet is very young or very old and needs to go potty often, just let me know their schedule. There is no smoking in the house.

I would prefer to watch animals at the owners home as I have two boxers of my own🤗 I’m active and love to go on walks, especially with dogs! Typically I am free whenever you need me! I usually do 1-2 drop in’s per day if my clients are out of town, but I can always do more if requested! About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life. Family, neighbors and friends have relied on me to take care of their animals, whether that is walking feeding bathing etc. I am currently unemployed and trying to keep myself busy for the rest of this summer. I am about to go off to college in the fall and would like to make money to be able to afford it! I am available earlier in the day pretty much every day. Preferably anywhere from 10am- 4pm I have a fenced in yard and I love taking my dogs for walks to keep them healthy! I will treat others animals as if they are mine!

“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. We could see that is a caring family and he would be treated as part of it. During his stay, we got pictures showing us how great he was doing. That was something our family really liked.”

“Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”
