“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! Unfortunately, my dog never got over the excitement of her chickens and Tina had to spend a significant amount of time monitoring her and keeping her away from the chickens, which was a lot of work. It’s too bad, because we would have loved to come back again! Tina was great, no complaints. My only complaints are towards my hyperactive dog for not chilling out about the chickens, haha!”

About: I've worked as a vet tech assistant and kennel assistant in a boarding facility where I gave oral medications, dealt with difficult pets, trimmed nails, the works. I've been pet sitting since high school and have owned dogs and cats my entire life. I don't own cats at the moment but I'd love to help take care of yours to get my fix in while I work a full time monday-friday job. About: I grew up with dogs and have always been around them! My dad does rover and I have helped him take them on walks, and fed them. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I am home most days with the occasional errand run. I love to workout as well so walking or running with the dogs would be great! I will give the pups plenty of attention and care that they need. I will also be flexible with the owners needs for their pet.

She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. About: I am always the first person to volunteer to petsit because my parents did not want pets when I was growing up! So I am of course the cool aunt and/or godmother to many of my friends and familys pets. Consider me the cool mom. Snacks and snuggles are ready for your pet at all times! About: I have taken care of dogs as long as I can remember. My family has always owned pets! I am not a stranger to pet sitting for family or friends and I love it! I do not start my full time job until late September so I am free whenever needed! About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.
