“Amy was very kind with my 13-year old dog sending me multiple pictures with details of his daily activities. I appreciated that she took him for regular walks. Amy was also timely with communications regarding drop off and pick up time changes. I will definitely use Rover again and have Amy take care of my dog in the future.”

“There aren't enough good things that I can say about Chad and his family! Not only was he super responsive, but I definitely felt like my dog was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I received many photo updates, usually when my dog was out and about playing with other pups. Having someone that you can depend on is paramount and I hit the jackpot with Chad. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“Ashley and her family were wonderful with Mohavi and Misha. Her kids are great with dogs and are so helpful as well. I felt at peace knowing my older gals were being well looked after while I was out of town for 5 days. Ashley will send updates and photos daily. They'll treat your pet like their own. Mohavi and misha loved the family and even my shy anxious misha felt comfortable. Thank you so much!”

“Tasha is wonderful! She took such great care of our dogs, and we’ll definitely use her again. She has a warm, caring presence, and her home feels just the same — with a great yard for the pups to play. We felt totally at ease leaving them with her. She kept us updated with pictures and even took them for a walk (with our okay first). Highly recommend!”

“Jazzi took such good care of Finn while I was out of town! She was able to accommodate a very last minute booking and exceeded all my hopes for a dog sitter. She updated me with pictures and I could tell he was loving his time with her and the other pups!”

“Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”

“Jillian is wonderful and took great care of our very small doodle. We look forward to booking with Jillian the next time we're out of town. Highly recommended.”

“Amber was great. Our dog Jake was very happy and made himself at home. Amber kept us informed with daily photos. She is obviously a dog lover. We were very pleased with her service.”

“Oakley always has the best time with Elizabeth & Alexander. They send plenty of check ups with pictures. Oakley is so excited to go back soon.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Sparky on this booking, and for taking care of his sister and brother, Buddy and Cooper, on past trips. We appreciate you both soooo much! When we get our new little girl (tentatively named Cooper Deux) we’ll introduce you! Thanks again, so much!!!”
“Michael, Wendy and their sweet family were amazing with our Charlie! We joked that he might be disappointed to get picked up! It was wonderful to have such peace of mind knowing our puppers was in great hands.”

“My pack of dogs had a blast running around in Rich’s pasture! They came back home tired and ready for rest and relaxation. Rich did a great job of sending us updates and pictures. I know my dogs had a great time. Thanks Rich”

“Our Charlie was well taken care of while we were out of town. Karin kept us updated on Charlie via text messages. We are very pleased with the care Charlie received from Karin. Thank you so much!”

“Sitter ended up really sick the day she was supposed to watch Zuzu. Instead of cancelling, she asked if a family member could help watch my dog. I was fine with this, and her family member stepped in like a champ. I’m so thankful she found a solution and didn’t leave us in a lurch.”

“Our dog had a wonderful time here and no doubt yours will too. They will treat your pup like their own and what more could you want! Sent lots of pictures and updates so we knew our pup was in good hands the whole week. Thank you Debbie and Ryan!”

“Amelia was so great with Sleepy Kitty! I consistently received updates and photos of my girl during visits. She made sure to come by beforehand and get to meet me and Sleepy, and see where her food, litter, and treats were prior to sitting. All litter was taken outside and she cleaned up Sleepy’s accident for me. Amelia made sure my needy Sleepy Kitty got all the snuggles she wanted! Plus, she helped lug in my million packages from Amazon all week haha! Looking forward to booking with Amelia again in the future, would absolutely recommend!”

“Annemarie did an amazing job looking after Cricket. Cricket historically has not warmed up to Pet Sitters, however Annemarie is now Cricket's new best friend. Setting in her lap, receiving brushings and wanting to play, this we have never seen before. We highly recommend Annemarie for your pets as she is compassionate and great communicator. We got pictures and updates daily while in Europe. Hard to believe the change in Cricket, this is a first!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was young and have pet sat for friends neighbors and family members. Along with pet sitting I have 2 pooches of my own one of which requires some extra special care. I have experience taking care of pets of all ages and sizes, my experience does not stop at dogs as I have taken care of cats, lizards, and chickens as well. I have experience with taking care of multiples as well, so far I have watched 4 cats at once, two of which were young kittens who required special formula and some extra attention. I am a full time student with availability Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and all day availability Friday through Sunday. I am available for drop in potty breaks, long walks, and providing your pooch with whatever it is they may need!

“Meredith was wonderful with our two cats. They loved her! She was so good with communicating her concerns regarding one my cats not feeling the best. She let me know what she saw right away and cleaned up the mess as well. So grateful she was able to see the cats so last minute!”

About: I am looking to get outside on walks as often as possible and I would love to take your pup with me! I moved here from Alaska a few years ago. I was the go-to dog sitter for many friends there year after year. I grew up with dogs, cats, turtles, and rabbits. I have kept and loved pets for my entire life. In 2011, I got my first rescue dog (as an adult). She was amazing and lived to be almost 15- years-old. She taught me a lot. We worked through aggression, and medical issues and ultimately geriatric care. Every dog has their own personality and things that make them happy or content and I am happy to do whatever I can to keep them comfortable, exercised, and content while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule. I am a bookkeeper and work from home/remotely. I have plenty of time to make sure your pets get quality time while I’m working and the flexibility of getting them out on walks as needed. I am happy to make your pet's day as normal as possible at their own home. I would love to know what that entails by meeting up before the overnight stay so that I can really get a sense for what your pet's needs are.

“Hope was very easy to work with while I was out of town and communicated regular updates on my cats for me. She took great care of them and made sure they got plenty of love. Definitely recommend her services any time.”

“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

“Had to find a last minute sitter for Blue during a roadtrip stop and Elise came through for us right away. LIFE SAVER. Blue can be a lot of energy and sometimes I feel guilty leaving him with someone because of that - but Elise was so welcoming. Blue practically jumped into her arms and she just laughed. Made me feel better immediately (and so welcomed). He played with some other dogs, she kept me updated throughout his time there, and I picked him up smiling, wagging his little tail, and tired out (which, YAY). Would book her again and again if I lived in the area!!”

About: Hi! I'm Adam, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have always been the go-to person for friends and neighbors when they needed someone they could trust with their furry family members. Most recently, I shared life with my red heeler, Rusty, who was a bundle of energy with a huge personality. We had an incredible bond, and I learned so much about what it means to care for a high-energy, high-intelligence breed. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to him not long ago, but I’m so grateful for the time we had. He reminded me how much joy dogs bring to everyday life—and how much care and attention they deserve. Now, I’d love to help others by offering the same love and attention to your dog as I did for mine. Whether it's going for walks, playing in the yard, or just keeping them company while you're away, I’m here to make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to be present and attentive throughout the day. I'm able to take regular breaks to walk, play with, or check in on pets as needed. I also run some mornings, so if your dog enjoys a little extra exercise, I’d be happy to bring them along (with your approval, of course!). Whether it’s active time or quiet companionship, I can easily fit your pet’s needs into my day. When caring for pets in my home, they’ll have access to a small, fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time, and I live just a short walk from a wide-open park—perfect for walks, playtime, or just a good sniff around. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly home where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. If I’m visiting your pet at your home or housesitting, you can count on me to treat your space with the same care and respect I give my own. I'm a very neat person, and I’ll always follow your pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel secure while you’re away. I also love biking and walking around town, so I’m happy to stop by for visits or longer stays depending on what your pet needs.
“Silvia took amazing care of my two pups and made me feel completely at ease during their stay. She was very communicative and sent the best updates and photos throughout the day. I only wish I lived closer so I could use her again! Highly recommend!”

“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

“Marie was incredible and treated our lab puppy like her own, and so did her adorable dog Indy. Great hangout/ play space, photos and communication. Looking forward to booking Marie again.”

“Amber was amazing! Made my dog feel more comfortable being babysat than he has by anyone else & I've tried a lot of people. My doodle has separation anxiety pretty severely, & with Amber & her doodle Jasper, he wasn't anxious at all & ate really well while he was at their house (which wasn't expected). Definitely would recommend.”
About: New to Boise! I have taken care of pets as a side job for the past 20 years and had my own pets. I am currently without a dog/pet. My last two dogs were rescue dogs. I have fostered numerous cats and dogs in addition to having my own. I am a retired public school teacher from SC. I have a kind heart and animals are usually drawn to me. Love the outdoors and enjoy walking pets in them! I am a single empty nester who has been teaching for 29 years. I live and teach near West Asheville. I can stay overnight on school nights, but only if it is within 30 miles. I am available all weekend and holidays (Except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year). My hours at school are from 7:30 am to 3:00. I do have an hour planning/lunch break if you are close to the school. Otherwise, if your pet can't go from 7:30 to 3:00 on school days, then I may not be the best fit. My pets are like my family. I treat them and their owners’ homes as if they were my own. I like to go by the motto 'leave it better than you found it." Your pet will be happy and your house will be clean when you return.
“Amanda is amazing!! I’ve worked from home ever since I got my dog, so I had a lot of anxiety dropping her off all day somewhere with my new job being in an office. But Amanda took amazing care of my pup and it totally helped me feel at ease. She takes her on walks and sends lot of photos.”

About: I have cared for pets since I was 6 years old, started with a tabby cat named Tinker after Tinker Bell. Since then I’ve cared for multiple cats of my own (including litters), and 2 of the sweetest dogs until seniors. I also loved and cared for the cutest peach-faced love bird, named, but of course - Peaches. I believe animals were created for us to be reminded to enjoy each moment we are given. I also believe that they deserve the best care and love through excellent attention to health, play and grooming. I have a set schedule that I will stick to for the most part, with flexibility upon request. Occasionally I will travel as well with advance notice. I am happy to come to your home to care for, feed, groom and play with your pet. I am also happy to take your pet for a drive (depending on the animal) to parks or different locations for exercise and play, or grooming.

About: I grew up with dogs and have always been around them! My dad does rover and I have helped him take them on walks, and fed them. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I am home most days with the occasional errand run. I love to workout as well so walking or running with the dogs would be great! I will give the pups plenty of attention and care that they need. I will also be flexible with the owners needs for their pet.

About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.

About: I have taken care of dogs as long as I can remember. My family has always owned pets! I am not a stranger to pet sitting for family or friends and I love it! I do not start my full time job until late September so I am free whenever needed! I understand how difficult it can be to schedule vacations with pets so I am here to help! :) I am not able to board pets. I can provide all the attention pets need! I can take them for long walks (Or short ones if little legs are a part of the equation!), play with your pet in your yard, ensure pets are receiving their meals on time, and help your pets feel less lonely whenever families are gone!
“Hatcher did a great job with my Alfie! He walked him around the neighborhood while I was at work, and he sent me several pictures of him, which really made my day! He was highly communicative throughout the whole process, which I really appreciated.”

About: Ive been a full time dog mom for 13 years. I’ve recently let go of my senior dog and would love to pour that love into your pup! I have experience with medically complex dogs, so I’m happy to dispense medications or give some extra TLC to dogs that need it! I have an open and flexible schedule! I’m available for dog walking mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I also have an open schedule for dog sitting in your home. I’m a very attentive pet sitter. If you’d like me to go over some basic training and commands with your dog, I’m happy to do that as well. I’ll give you pet all the love they can tolerate, but will also give them space if that’s what they prefer. I’m so excited to meet and spend some quality time with your little critter!
About: I grew up in a small town where neighbors regularly relied on one another for help with their pets during vacations and long trips. Because of that, I gained early, hands‑on experience caring for animals during extended stays and learned how to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and at home. Whether your pet prefers to run and play or relax with cuddles I will adapt to their needs. I am currently a full-time student at Boise State University majoring in Diagnostic Radiology. I have summer clinicals W-F generally between 8-6 pm. I am more than happy to do early morning and evening care on clinical days. Unfortunately due to my changing schedule I cannot book weekly visits. I will ensure your pup feels right at home. If they have specific routines that make them feel more comfortable let me know, I am more than happy to learn!
“Karin is awesome! She is super responsive extremely kind and my pup Milo LOVES her! I’d recommend anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter to work with her! Beyond impressed.”

“Our dog,Buster, loved Jolynne! She was very patient with him when he wasn’t sure about going out in the rain. Today he was waiting at the door for her even though I home ! I will definitely use her again!”

“Kellan came to take Kiyomi for a long 2 mile walk yesterday. Our female American Akita has fallen in love with Kellan. She is normally very guarded, protective of us. But has warmed up to Kellan so quickly. We are so happy of this considering he will be staying with her in our home soon. What a Blessing Kellan has become, he is so personable, interested in our needs. A+ all the way!”

I'm available any night of the week for house sitting. For supervision, potty, play, and walks I'm available anytime Mon-Wed, AFTER 2 PM Thurs, and Fri, and after 6 PM Sat+Sun Communication with pet parents is very important, I'll keep an open line of check ins with photos and behavior updates! As I'm only available for sitting in clients homes, I will make sure to take care of not only your fur babies, but your home! I'm adaptable to any special needs for pets AND their parents. Your pets' safety and happiness is top priority.

About: We’ve had pets our whole life! From pugs to English mastiffs…we love all dogs big and small, and would enjoy to help you out with yours(: I work during the week and live with my partner who is also a huge dog lover. He works everyday from home making it extremely easy to fit a dog into our schedule and providing your pet with constant care. I am an extremely active person who can take your dog walking, running and any other activities they enjoy! I also have a big car that doesn’t mind transporting dogs places.
About: I work from home, and am able to provide lots of love and attention to your pup! I live in a single family home with a fully fenced yard. Our small poodle mix loves to socialize and play with other dogs. I work from home, so I’m always home! I have availability for multiple daily walks and playtime. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times. I have a fully fenced back yard. There is also a large park to walk in (leashed) in my neighborhood. I can meet any feeding needs or special instructions.
About: I've had dogs my whole life, of many different breeds ranging from chihuahua to Great Danes. I love taking my own dog, that I've had since March 2021, to the dog park everyday. I love dogs, they bring me so much joy. I want to give them as much joy as they give to me. I currently work Tues-Thursday 7-3 and Fridays 8-3 and sometimes Mondays 8-3, I live 5 minutes from my job. Getting off at 3 gives me more time to play with dogs and give them all the attention!! I have a balacony on the 2nd floor. I have a fur baby of my own that would gladly play with your fur baby. I have a large dog cage that I could use for your fur baby if need be. Plenty of toys and treats. Only a short drive to the dog park. If in need of separation of my dog and your dog, that is completely doable. I would, of course, like to do a behavior test between the two dogs to make sure they would get along. Your pet might often meet my boyfriend’s dog who is also a huskey!
About: I have always had animals in my life. Cats, dogs, birds. I have cared for small and large breeds. Raised Rottweilers and our latest rescue is a Pitbull Mastiff mix from Boise Bully Breed. I have cared for pets with special needs also enjoy senior pets. I work part time from home with a very flexible schedule, just need a couple hours a week on my laptop. Available for day and night walks. Over nights work for me as well. Our 3 dogs and 1 cat are all very spoiled. The dogs are seniors so their exercise is always age appropriate. When we have foster pups they all step up for quiet play. Whenever I care for others pets I always want to specialize the care for what works best for the animal. I know my own pets are use to their routines and I think it's important to maintain those as pets can often get anxious when moms and dads are gone.
“Wendy takes such great care of Rosie - she gave me some info about Rosie from this last walk Wendy knew was important to me. I'm thrilled to have someone who cares about my pupper walking her!”

About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. When I was a kid I used to be told not to pet certain animals because they were deemed “unfriendly”, most of them time people were shocked when their animal would warm up to me after making such a statement. Animals are much more intelligent and empathetic than some people give them credit for. Give me a choice between a room full of humans or a room full of animals, and I’ll take the room full of animals every time. I started pet setting when I was 12 and I’ve been doing it on and off ever since. I used to have a dog, sadly he passed from heart failure and I’ve just barely gotten to the point where I’m thinking about getting another. I miss his energy and miss taking him on hikes and long walks. Getting up early is not a problem for me. I live right by the greenbelt so we will be going on lots of walks! At the moment my schedule is very open. I have 2 cats who love dogs, but I know not all dogs love cats. I am more than willing to come over and dog sit and even bring you pup In during the times I’m there as long as your pup likes cats, otherwise me walking your pup and boarding at your house would be better suited for all parties involved.

“Oakley always has the best time with Elizabeth & Alexander. They send plenty of check ups with pictures. Oakley is so excited to go back soon.”

“My pack of dogs had a blast running around in Rich’s pasture! They came back home tired and ready for rest and relaxation. Rich did a great job of sending us updates and pictures. I know my dogs had a great time. Thanks Rich”

“Such a wonderful experience! Betsy was spoiled and loved on by Alisa’s entire family. This was Betsy’s 1st experience being cared for by someone we didn’t know-she felt completely at home and at peace,-which was so comforting for me. Alisa has a big yard and Betsy was in Heaven with all of the yard time and fetching fun! I had great communication with Alisa while I was away and she sent pictures and videos that were so special to see! I would highly recommend Alisa!”

“Lerin was very accommodating when I had last minute flights changed and communicative throughout Lady’s stay. I received pictures daily and could clearly see Lady’s was well taken care of. Will use Lerin in the future!”

“Moya and her family were extremely welcoming and took great care of our Dog over the weekend. Very communicative and handled our dogs care regimen perfectly. Highly recommend!”

“We were so happy to have Allison take care of our Lily for us! She was so well cared for and had a great experience! I received lots of daily pictures and updates and she came home sparkling clean as well! We would love to use Allison again for our fur baby!”
