“This is our second time booking with L, and they were amazing once again. It gives us peace of mind knowing our cat is well cared for and our home is safe while we’re away.”

“Aaron did an amazing job watching our kitties! One of them is quite particular and can be difficult, but there weren't any issues! He got him his meds every night and the house was in great shape when we returned. He even washed our sheets which was so nice considering we didn't get home until 11pm! We will definitely be booking him in the future!”

“Kory was a hit with the kitties! She was thorough and very communicative. We enjoyed our time away knowing everyone was taken care of. We will most definitely use her in the future! Thank you Kory!!”

“Morgan was great watching our cats while we were away. There was a big ice/snow storm that hit while we were away and Morgan proactively reached out to establish a plan a week ahead of time and she diligently executed what was mutually agreed upon. I’m grateful that someone with enough care and foresight was booked to watch our cats. I would not hesitate to book Morgan again!”

About: I have taken care of a couple of different sets of cats. I love them all, even if they're a bit angry about an intruder. I've administered meds to cats before, traditionally in the pill form. I actively attempt to play with and love on the cats I work with, as long as their recipient. I am not afraid of getting clawed or bitten since its happened so many times with my previous cat.

“Lexi is a very nice young woman. We reached out to her the day before we left after having a cancellation from another cat sitter. She could not have been more accommodating, staying at our house at the last minute, and we appreciate the care she provided to our baby, Cleo.”

“Niamh was TERRIFIC! She came over before I left to have me show her around and let her know where things are and I instantly felt at ease. She is professional and so very caring about pets in her charge. She sent over a daily picture and comments about what was done while I was out of town and I was so appreciative. it's such a relief to have found a pet sitter who is so considerate, professional and who takes the time to learn how she can best support our fur babes!”

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is a lifelong connection with animals- I’ve had pets since the day I was born, and caring for them has always been second nature. Over the years, I’ve looked after countless pets in my neighborhood, building trust with both animals and their owners. I am currently a full-time college student, and involved in Greek life and other activities on campus. Although this is the case, my schedule is decently flexible and open, so I am available most days for pet care. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I understand that I’m not just looking after beloved animals- I’m also being trusted with a personal space. I take that responsibility seriously by being respectful, clean, and mindful of each home’s rules and routines. Whether it’s following specific instructions or simply leaving things exactly as I found them, I always aim to give pet owners peace of mind knowing both their pets and homes are in reliable, respectful hands.

About: While I'm definitely a dog lover, I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. I understand that every cat has their own personality—some love affection, while others just want a calm, respectful presence. I’m happy to handle feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving them space when needed. I’ll make sure your cat feels safe, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.
“They did a great job! Our dog is high energy and can be a lot to walk so we were appreciative to have knowledgeable dog sitters that took great care. Will for sure be using again!”

“Katie was absolutely amazing! All the animals were really well cared for and seemed super happy when I got back. Charlie was particularly happy, and I think this showed in this pictures Katie would update me with. Absolutely brilliant and can't wait to have Katie look after my pets once again.”

I also need to say Mary went above and beyond… I came down with an unexpected illness and did not need her services for two of the three days. “Mary was amazing. She understood how to work with our high energy herding dog and gave her plenty of exercise with long walks. Her communication was great and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. DISCLAIMER!! (I WILL BE LEAVING FOR SCHOOL AUG 20th) I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.
“Emily did a great job with my 5 month old puppy. He loved her and the walks they'd go on. Emily was always punctual so I didn't have to worry. Plus I loved getting a cute picture each afternoon!”

About: I don't just make sure your dog has the basics. My goal is to make their experience epic in all the best ways. I've had dogs for over 40 years. I'm the annoying person who will stop strangers just to ask to pet their dog. I have experience with puppies through to seniors (they're my favorite), have no problem administering medications, and am proactive in meeting their needs. And if your dog is up for anything, then they can expect lots of exercise, snuggles, and new experiences. I am available for active services through August 7 during the week. After August 7 I am available for services most weekends (Friday after work - 5 PM - though Sunday night). If I am house and pet -sitting, I will stay at your home overnight and take care of your pet actively during the day unless you choose otherwise. Safety and comfort are my top concerns. I am a Private Pet Care Insurance-Secured sitter so you can feel confident booking with me. For new clients, I may ask for a pre-booking meet and greet to ensure we are a good fit. For boarding and daycare requests: Because I care for my own pet along with yours, I require proof of current vaccinations: Rabies, Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, and Adenovirus (Hepatitis) prior to booking. Whatever service you select, I will work with you to understand your and your pet's needs and tailor the experience. When I host your pet in my home you can expect a clean home and large, grassy, fenced yard. Your dog will be on leash outside the property unless you give permission to do otherwise in designated off-leash areas. Our dog sleeps part time in her kennel and part on our bed. Your dog is welcome to do the same. If I am in your home, you can expect me to leave it the same or better than you left it. I'll even water your plants if requested.
About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, and I truly love caring for them all. I currently have two doodles (a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle) and a brown tabby cat. I’ve also grown up with Chihuahuas, Pugs, Cats, and other Goldendoodles, so I’m familiar with a wide range of sizes, temperaments, and needs. Beyond my own pups, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, including a big, lovable Husky named Snow and several elderly dogs who needed extra patience and care, especially those with mobility issues. I know how important it is to meet each dog where they are, whether that means active playtime or just quiet companionship and gentle support. I treat every dog like part of the family, and I’m always happy to follow specific routines, administer medication, or provide calm, attentive care for senior pups. I’m currently home for the summer from college, which means I have a very open and flexible schedule. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I have plenty of time and energy to give. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I’m available and committed to making your pet’s care a priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality so I can create a calm, familiar environment for them. In my home, pets have a clean, cozy space to relax, with plenty of supervised playtime and attention. I keep all doors secure, avoid unsafe foods or toys, and always monitor interactions with my own friendly doodles. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely—from feeding and medication to walks and bedtime routines. I make sure pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while you're away. Communication is key, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.
About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. (Henry) I have been around dogs of all ages my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs, I am sure to walk at a pace the dog is comfortable with and take breaks if the dog needs time to rest. (Ella) I love all dogs but especially those that like to be pet and snuggled. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. (Ella) I am normally free in the afternoons after school. Outside of dog sitting I enjoy gymnastics. (Henry) I have a pug that I walk everyday in my neighborhood. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. (Ella) When the dogs are in my backyard, I stay with them to make sure they feel comfortable.
“Love the quick response when booking and I was able to keep in touch before the walk session to give updates and information. Everything went well with the walk and I love the feedback and the pictures that were provided. Great experience and will definitely book again!”

“Teresa is amazing. She is professional and caring and wonderful with our geriatric special needs rescue dog. She has great attention to detail. I will definitely be asking her to come back.”
“Kory came to our house to walk and check in on our dog multiple times per day while we were on vacation. Since our dog isn't great around other dogs and therefore can't stay at a sitter's house, we were very grateful that Kory was willing to do this for us! She gave a little update each time she came over and sent a photo each time, which really helped calm my nerves about how our dog was doing, especially since this was their first time meeting. I am pretty particular about who I allow to care for my dog, but I felt like Sherlock was in great hands with Kory the entire time! She was even able to check up on him for an additional day at the last minute when our flight got cancelled!”

“Josie S. is a wonderful dog walker that I would highly recommend! She was personable, reliable, and communicated regularly. And she was great with our cairn terrier. Now that we’re back from our vacation, he keeps looking out the window for her. Guess we’ll have to go somewhere soon again so he can get more fun walks from Josie!”

“Katie is awesome! She walks our little buddy every day and takes great care of her! Katie sends very detailed updates and pictures and is very communicable whenever there are issues. Highly recommend!”

THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. Tasha was prompt, communicative, and kept us updated throughout our dog’s stay with lots of photos and messages. It was clear that our dog was getting plenty of love, attention, and excellent care, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We’ve used several Rover sitters in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Tasha and Matt truly went above and beyond, and we felt confident that our dog was in the best hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and are already looking forward to using them in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Teddy had such a wonderful time, I can tell he really enjoyed his stay and Rich was super accommodating and communicated regularly with updates and pictures and videos. I would 100% recommend”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“Amanda is amazing! My two pups love staying at her house. Amanda adores her own dogs and treats them like family, and when my girls were with her they got the same attention, love, and care that she gives her own. I felt VERY comfortable leaving my dogs there for the first time. I knew they were in great hands and were living their best life while I was away. Amanda took them on lots of walks and sent many cute pictures and updates, too. She was also very willing and happy to do things the way our pups are used to at home. Thank you, Amanda! Poppy and Sunny will definitely be staying here again.”

“Super kind family! Very warm and welcoming to our dog & sent us great updates. Highly recommend if you want your dog to be well looked-after and loved!”

“Such a wonderful experience! Betsy was spoiled and loved on by Alisa’s entire family. This was Betsy’s 1st experience being cared for by someone we didn’t know-she felt completely at home and at peace,-which was so comforting for me. Alisa has a big yard and Betsy was in Heaven with all of the yard time and fetching fun! I had great communication with Alisa while I was away and she sent pictures and videos that were so special to see! I would highly recommend Alisa!”

“Kaina always has fun when she stays with Aimee, Derek Jacob and their two sweet dogs. I love being able to leave her with them knowing she'll be very well taken care of!”

“Bobbie and her husband were perfect hosts and caregivers for Sadie, our chihuahua corgi mix. She is getting old and and a little grouchy when confronted with large dogs or young energetic dogs. Being at Bobbie's place where she was the only dog and had no competition for human attention and affection was great with Sadie. She was healthy and happy when we returned to pick her up after our 10 day trip. Thanks, Bobbie!”

“I’m so happy to have found Minting and her adorable family to care for Jax! She took excellent care of him and I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing while I was away. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Rhea took such good care of our girl. She gives the dogs a nice long walk every day. I love that she only takes a dog or two at a time because it felt like Bailey got lots of attention. We would happily book with Rhea again anytime (and we will!) Thank you!”
