About: I have taken care of a couple of different sets of cats. I love them all, even if they're a bit angry about an intruder. I've administered meds to cats before, traditionally in the pill form. I actively attempt to play with and love on the cats I work with, as long as their recipient. I am not afraid of getting clawed or bitten since its happened so many times with my previous cat.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is a lifelong connection with animals- I’ve had pets since the day I was born, and caring for them has always been second nature. About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and have spent a years pet sitting for friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc. I LOVE animals of any kind and would love to spend time with your little ones! I recently took a break from Rover for a couple years but I’m back and ready to take care of your pets in Boise! About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. When I host your pet in my home you can expect a clean home and large, grassy, fenced yard. About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.
About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. (Ella) When the dogs are in my backyard, I stay with them to make sure they feel comfortable.

“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. We could see that is a caring family and he would be treated as part of it. During his stay, we got pictures showing us how great he was doing. That was something our family really liked.”
