“Amy is an outstanding pup sitter! We'd give her 10 stars if we could. She's super communicative and quick to respond to questions. While we were on our trip, she sent two or three updates, with photos, each day. It was fun to watch our pup settle in with her care. She provides exercise, tons of playtime, and cuddles. Definitely will call on Amy to watch our pup again! Thanks so much, Amy!”

“Emily is just wonderful! She is flexible in working with our schedule, as well as with the quirks and neediness of our GSP. Shortly after arriving for his first stay, he was relaxing on his back! What a relief in knowing that she gained his trust and he felt so comfortable with her. She is a blessing!”

“This was our 3rd time using Rover - 1st time with Bob & Vicky. We will never leave Harley & Fletcher with anyone else! Sitting for a rambunctious puppy and senior dog at the same time is not for the faint of heart! They loved all the walks and play time with Jax. Multiple pics & videos each day showed us that our pups were having fun and comfortable. It made our week away so much more relaxing ? Thanks so much Bob & Vicky!”

“Ashley and her family took incredible care of my dog while I was out of town. They sent me daily updates of how he was doing and made him feel so welcomed in their home!”

“Moya and her family were extremely welcoming and took great care of our Dog over the weekend. Very communicative and handled our dogs care regimen perfectly. Highly recommend!”

“Dolly loves visiting with Katie, Ben, and their kids. She gets so much love and attention from this wonderful family. We always know Dolly will be well cared for with them.”

“Jillian and her family were wonderful with our dog. They incorporated him into their lives and he had a great stay and was even sad to leave. While it was great to get home, he missed her kids and all their attention. I would definitely recommend Jullian.”

“Jazzi was awesome very accommodating and understanding to my unexpected changes during Nalas stay. Nala was a very happy girl when I picked her up. Absolutely would recommend her for your fur baby!”

“My dog loved staying with Maddy and her family! She accepted a somewhat last minute request and was so flexible and was great at communicating! I’ll definitely reach out to her first next time I need someone to watch my dog!”

“Elizabeth and family were awesome to work with again. Took great care of our dog, sent daily updates, and took her on plenty of walks and plenty of play time. Will definitely use again!”

“Amanda is wonderful to work with. We felt so comfortable with our dog Rocco staying with her. Rocco is always loved and taken good care of. Thank you Amanda for keeping us updated and sending pictures.”

“Heidi took incredible care of our dog and gave us updates throughout our vacation. Our dog has a fair amount of anxiety and does not do well in large boarding facilities, he was so happy and fulfilled when we picked him up”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care our Tasha provided for my two dogs, Miss Tucker and Dobby. From the start, communication was excellent, and I received daily photos and updates that showed how comfortable and happy they were. Miss Tucker and Dobby are full of energy, but Tasha was able to match their personalities and energy perfectly. They even took them on regular walks, which they absolutely love! It meant so much knowing they were getting exercise, attention, and lots of love while I was away. Coming home to two calm, happy pups said everything. It’s never easy leaving your dogs, but I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. I will definitely be booking again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Max was extremely well taken care of and probably didn’t want to leave Amanda’s place. He came home healthy and happy and we could have asked for anything else. We highly recommend leaving your pet with her!”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Alyssa and Jacob were amazing hosts! Will definitely use them again for Fritz. Great communication. We got a lot of updates and he looked like he had a blast! Came back very happy which was nice to see as Fritz can be nervous and shy in new places!”

“Kory was fantastic caring for our cat while we were on a two week holiday. We highly recommend her. She gave our cat love and cuddles, play, and outdoor time. She sent us updates and photos every day. She was also lovely to deal with on a business level, prompt in responding to messages, and a clear communicator. We will hire her again.”

About: I’ve owned cats or dogs pretty much my entire life. Currently, I own a border collie mix and love spending time with her. I love getting to know other animals and have dog/cat sitting experience with neighbor's pets also. Currently, I’m working as an on call wildland firefighter that should get going here in about the next few months or so. I’m pretty much always available, unless I will be on a fire. I love interacting and getting to know pets in general. I also prioritize communication with the owners to keep them informed of what is going on.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is a lifelong connection with animals- I’ve had pets since the day I was born, and caring for them has always been second nature. Over the years, I’ve looked after countless pets in my neighborhood, building trust with both animals and their owners. I am currently a full-time college student, and involved in Greek life and other activities on campus. Although this is the case, my schedule is decently flexible and open, so I am available most days for pet care. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I understand that I’m not just looking after beloved animals- I’m also being trusted with a personal space. I take that responsibility seriously by being respectful, clean, and mindful of each home’s rules and routines. Whether it’s following specific instructions or simply leaving things exactly as I found them, I always aim to give pet owners peace of mind knowing both their pets and homes are in reliable, respectful hands.
“They did a great job! Our dog is high energy and can be a lot to walk so we were appreciative to have knowledgeable dog sitters that took great care. Will for sure be using again!”

“Katie was absolutely amazing! All the animals were really well cared for and seemed super happy when I got back. Charlie was particularly happy, and I think this showed in this pictures Katie would update me with. Absolutely brilliant and can't wait to have Katie look after my pets once again.”
“Jordan did a fantastic job with our drop in visits! She arrived on time and made sure our pups had ample play time. She provided photos and a summary after each visit. Highly recommend!”

“Niamh is truly a gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have two cats with completely different personalities (one being very anxious). Niamh was attentive to their individual needs and provided each with exceptional, personalized care. She exceeded expectations with an attention to the details and our cats’ preferences. We greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of Niamh’s communication. This was our first booking with Niamh but we will definitely rebook in the future!”

“It was our first time leaving our cat for more than a few days (about two weeks) and our first time using Rover as well. L was the best cat sitter we could have asked for. Even though we were out of the country, L’s communication was amazing and we were able to relax knowing our kitty was taken care of. We got pictures daily and came home to a happy and thriving kitty. If you want someone who will give your cat lovins and attention while you’re gone, while also making sure they’re well cared for, L is your sitter. 10/10 would hire her again.”

“Sara did a great job checking on our two cats while we were out of the country. She was very communicative and sent pictures of each time she dropped in. I highly recommend Sara and would happily use her again.”

About: I started life with 3 cats and grew up with 5. I've always had cats in my life, and they are my main loves. I am patient in making friends with kitties, and with my veterinary experience, I can also administer medications as needed. I raised a cat-lover, and the pic is my big feisty grand-cat, whom I adore.
About: I grew up with dogs and was a border collie mom to Cas until a few years ago and miss him dearly! I had chickens and miss those characters! I recently retired and provided pet and home sitting services on and off during my career. Since I retired I have had back to back pet and house sitting jobs. The first one was for almost 7 weeks, I am almost done with a 3 week stay, and the next one will also be 3 weeks. I have owned homes and was a landlord. I owned and maintained my last house by myself for almost 15 years and had a large property with a septic system and a water source in the woods up the hill. I am familiar with water treatment systems. I am experienced with keeping indoor and outdoor plants alive and maintaining landscaping. I am skilled at following special instructions for the care of your animals, plants, outdoor area, and home. I am retired after a long career as a fish biologist and my schedule is flexible and I can adapt my routines to what your pet and house need. I really enjoy being around pets and the routine that they provide and am currently not in a position to have them as I will periodically be traveling and exploring the U.S. and internationally now that my schedule is more flexible. I like to hike and walk and it's more fun with a furry companion. I have owned homes and was a landlord. I am a very neat, tidy, organized, reliable, and dependable person. I will treat your home and pets as I would my own. I look forward to helping you with whatever you need while you are away from home.

“Lexi is a very nice young woman. We reached out to her the day before we left after having a cancellation from another cat sitter. She could not have been more accommodating, staying at our house at the last minute, and we appreciate the care she provided to our baby, Cleo.”

“Mary was absolutely awesome! She helped out last minute with a meet and greet and watched my little Finn during my first week back at school. This was Finn’s first time away from me, and she made him so comfortable that he was excited to come back every time. She was incredibly responsive, went above and beyond, and made everything so easy. Finn always came back calm, happy, and ready to cozy up. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: Hi, I’m Megan! 🐾 For the past 7+ years I have devoted my life to caring for animals! Currently working as a shelter clinic manager, I have plenty of experience with both medical and behavioral sides of animal care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities while they’re in my care. I also have extra help at home! My sister lacy, who is a stay-at-home pet lover with pet-sitting experience, helps provide additional attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. This means your pet gets plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and love—even when life gets busy. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go on walks, or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, medications (including oral meds and all injection route's if needed), seniors, and those who may need a little extra TLC. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet behind, so I will provide as much communication as possible so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their stay feel like a fun, safe “vacation” while you’re away. Availability & Schedule 🐾 I work Sunday–Wednesday, but your pet will still receive plenty of love, attention, and care! I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday fully off, allowing for lots of one-on-one time, walks, playtime, and cuddles. To make sure pets always have companionship and supervision, my sister is home 100% of the time as a stay-at-home animal lover with pet-sitting experience. Between the two of us, your pet will have consistent care, attention, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. Our Home Environment 🐾 We strive to provide a fun, loving, and safe home-away-from-home experience for every pet in our care! Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play safely. We also have three smaller, friendly dogs who love making new friends (while always respecting each pet’s comfort level and personality). Whether your pup enjoys playing, cuddling, or relaxing, we make sure they feel comfortable and included. There are plenty of cozy dog beds, toys, treats, and attention to go around! We treat every pet like family and do our best to keep their routine as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Safety, supervision, love, and lots of tail wags are always our priority.

“So pleased with the care provided. I chose Mike while in town for 2 days so i could enjoy boise. He had a great yard and was so easy going. My pups played then lounged on the couch. Definitely recommend!!!!”

“My family and I were visiting from out of state and wanted to go to the zoo so we needed last minute doggy daycare. DeHanna was so responsive when messaging. She was kind and understanding with my girls needs. When I picked my girl she showed no signs of stress and was super happy. I would book with her again! Highly recommend and thank you!”

“My puppy Zapp had a great time at her house! He had a nice yard to play in, and was welcomed in the home to hang out on the couches and play with her kids. I am so relieved to know he was treated like one of the family! Another person I tried booking with was planning on just kenneling him for hours- which to me sounds awful and I could just do on my own if I really wanted to. I 100% recommend Annabel and will be happy to leave Zapp in her home again when needed!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.
“World’s best dogwalker! Seriously - Emily is so reliable and great with animals. My pup even gets to go on awesome foothills adventures with his dog buddies. Socialization AND exercise? Awesome.”

“Mary was amazing. She understood how to work with our high energy herding dog and gave her plenty of exercise with long walks. Her communication was great and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Love the quick response when booking and I was able to keep in touch before the walk session to give updates and information. Everything went well with the walk and I love the feedback and the pictures that were provided. Great experience and will definitely book again!”

“Kory came to our house to walk and check in on our dog multiple times per day while we were on vacation. Since our dog isn't great around other dogs and therefore can't stay at a sitter's house, we were very grateful that Kory was willing to do this for us! She gave a little update each time she came over and sent a photo each time, which really helped calm my nerves about how our dog was doing, especially since this was their first time meeting. I am pretty particular about who I allow to care for my dog, but I felt like Sherlock was in great hands with Kory the entire time! She was even able to check up on him for an additional day at the last minute when our flight got cancelled!”

About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. (Henry) I have been around dogs of all ages my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs, I am sure to walk at a pace the dog is comfortable with and take breaks if the dog needs time to rest. (Ella) I love all dogs but especially those that like to be pet and snuggled. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. (Ella) I am normally free in the afternoons after school. Outside of dog sitting I enjoy gymnastics. (Henry) I have a pug that I walk everyday in my neighborhood. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. (Ella) When the dogs are in my backyard, I stay with them to make sure they feel comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for 9 years. I have also pet sat for friends and family for about 8 years which has included walking, bathing, house sitting, and general care. Typically I am free whenever you need me! I usually do 1-2 drop in’s per day if my clients are out of town, but I can always do more if requested! I do not have my own place at the moment so I am not able to board pets but I will be respectful of clients homes and am willing to do whatever it is that you need!
About: Raised by a veterinarian, I have been an animal-lover my whole life. Over my lifetime, I've had and/or cared for cats, dogs, and many other animals. I've done farm-sitting and worked for veterinarians as a technician, so I'm comfortable with giving medications and caring for animals of any size, age, and temperament. I got my first personal pet (that I didn't have to share with my family) for my 13th birthday, and have rarely been without at least one fur baby ever since. I currently have a standard poodle named (Criminitly) Trigger, after the vulture on Disney's Robin Hood. He is a goofy, Velcro, momma's boy who has earned the nickname Captain Kangaroo from his grandma. He loves to "help" me do everything, including rehearse music with my uncle. I am a full-time student at Boise State, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to help your furry babies be happy until you return. I'm happy to spend time at your fur baby's home giving them whatever attention they need. I can do drop-in visits for dogs and cats of any size, and take puppers out on walks, whether you're out of town or just at work for long hours. If they need medications, I can do that, too.
“Josie S. is a wonderful dog walker that I would highly recommend! She was personable, reliable, and communicated regularly. And she was great with our cairn terrier. Now that we’re back from our vacation, he keeps looking out the window for her. Guess we’ll have to go somewhere soon again so he can get more fun walks from Josie!”

About: I have grown up with many animals in my household including birds, rodents, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I love working with animals and getting the opportunity to give them the love and care that they need. Once I moved out and started school, I decided to get my own dog, and it was the best decision I ever made! I have a three-year-old blue heeler who needs tons of attention and care and from this experience I have learned a lot about dogs and how to care for certain breeds properly. I am currently a college student on summer break looking to fill my time with an activity I will enjoy. I am free whenever needed any day or time of the week. I live in a duplex home and have a fenced backyard with a community dog park available. I do have one dog myself with an available crate if needed to crate your pet.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for around 8 years now, family friends and neighbors often rely on me to check in and feed their pets. I’ve also been a vet tech for 2 years so I have plenty of experience with medications and any medical needs. I have a flexible job and only work about 27 hours a week, so pet care is a natural part of my days. Whether it’s stopping by for a quick visit or spending extra cuddle time, I’m able to fit my schedule around each pet’s needs. I believe every pet feels happiest when their routine stays familiar, so I always follow your pet’s normal schedule and comfort level. Whether that means dropping in for regular check-ins, going on walks or runs that match their usual pace, or keeping their space calm and tidy, I make sure your pets feel safe and cared for just like they do when you’re home. My goal is to make their time with me as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

“My girls are my children so I find it really hard finding a new sitter that I feel confident that will treat them as well as we do. After several messages back and forth and a meet and greet with my husband (whom is almost pickier than I am when it comes to the girls) Meghan gave us the impression that we had nothing to worry about. During our girls stay with her and her family, she proved us right. She was VERY accommodating with our requests for the girls care and provided lots of updates during their stay. With as much as we have going on in our lives it was a relief to not have to worry about our babies while they were in Meghan’s care. Will definitely rebook with her for future travel. ?”

“Michael, Wendy and their sweet family were amazing with our Charlie! We joked that he might be disappointed to get picked up! It was wonderful to have such peace of mind knowing our puppers was in great hands.”

“Karin was great with our old pup! Our dog has some special needs, medication and diet. She had no issues with the extra care. Playtime out in the back yard, photos, videos and communication throughout.”

About: I’m reliable, communicative, and great with dogs of all temperaments. I’ll learn their quirks, respect their routine, and yes, probably talk to them like they’re tiny, furry humans. I will make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and entertained—expect plenty of playtime, patience, and the occasional “who’s a good dog?” conversation. I’m a stay-at-home Dad with a friendly standard poodle who loves meeting new friends, and we stay active with three walks a day plus plenty of playtime and attention. I focus on safety, consistency, and trust by maintaining a clean, pet-friendly space and closely monitoring all interactions. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any specific care instructions you provide. In my home, dogs enjoy regular walks, playtime, and a secure environment alongside my well-socialized poodle. I aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal, fun and stress-free as possible.
“Shannon was fantastic with our pug Steve! Her communication was excellent and incredibly quick, she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. She gave us peace of mind that Steve was in caring hands. Would recommend Shannon to any other dog parents.”
