About: I adore all kinds of animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and I now have my own little family. I have a kitten named Duck Duck and a gecko named Gecki Gavito (legal name Larry) I work a 9-5 during the week but have open availability in the early morning, evenings, and weekends. I am also a full time college student so I have no problem hanging out with animals while I work! Looking after a pet in their own home is easier in my experience. The familiar environment puts them at ease and it's fun to play with their favorite toys and see what their routine is.

(Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle/sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We generally accept only one client at a time, so we can give your dog(s) lots of attention and love. We do sometimes allow an overlap with another client's dog, but only if we know the dogs involved get along well. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. About: I have taken care of pets for many years. I have had many dogs in my home throughout my childhood. I have done dog sitting for a couple of years, within dog sitting I have taken dogs on walks as well. About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

Please let us know a few times you are available for a meet and greet before hand to ensure it is a good fit! We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. Audrie also volunteers at the local pet shelter and has gained a but of knowledge in dog training. We will be on time, provide lots of photos while you are away, and be certain to follow your instructions exactly as written. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! Between the two of us, we are very flexible. Our only routine is walking our dog in the morning and evening, and feeding our animals twice per day. We have a fenced backyard, and let our pets go out when they want, but mostly they stay inside. We take our dog on two walks daily. We will follow whatever direction you have. Because of our cats, we can only accept small dogs into our home for boarding, but can go to your home as needed.

About: I grew up caring for, and raising all kinds of animals. I have always had a genuine love for all animals. :) I have a cat and a small dog at home. Our family loves our animals dearly and we will love and care for your pet like our own! I am currently a student and I work very part-time. I have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet(s)! I am usually always home during the day unless I am needing to run a quick errand. I have a fully fenced yard. The fence is a tall privacy fence. We usually go for an evening and morning walk, weather permitting. :)
