About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, and I truly love caring for them all. I currently have two doodles (a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle) and a brown tabby cat. I’ve also grown up with Chihuahuas, Pugs, Cats, and other Goldendoodles, so I’m familiar with a wide range of sizes, temperaments, and needs. Beyond my own pups, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, including a big, lovable Husky named Snow and several elderly dogs who needed extra patience and care, especially those with mobility issues. “Kory came to our house to walk and check in on our dog multiple times per day while we were on vacation. Since our dog isn't great around other dogs and therefore can't stay at a sitter's house, we were very grateful that Kory was willing to do this for us! She gave a little update each time she came over and sent a photo each time, which really helped calm my nerves about how our dog was doing, especially since this was their first time meeting. I am pretty particular about who I allow to care for my dog, but I felt like Sherlock was in great hands with Kory the entire time! She was even able to check up on him for an additional day at the last minute when our flight got cancelled!”

My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. “I booked Emily to walk my 18 month old Golden Retriever the day of my child's 4th birthday. I was hoping he would come home nice and tired! About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I grew up caring for, and raising all kinds of animals. I have always had a genuine love for all animals. :) I have a cat and a small dog at home. Our family loves our animals dearly and we will love and care for your pet like our own! I am currently a student and I work very part-time. I have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet(s)! I am usually always home during the day unless I am needing to run a quick errand. I have a fully fenced yard. The fence is a tall privacy fence. We usually go for an evening and morning walk, weather permitting. :)

About: I have lived with dogs all of my life and have loved them no matter their personality and quirks! I know how to read their language, play with them, and offer affection. Currently, this is my part time job and I am readily available on weekends and weekdays! My only restriction is Thursday afternoons from 2:30-4:30. I have no issue with taking pets outside, playing with them, or allowing them to sleep with me! I am familiar with indoor/outdoor restrictions.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for 9 years. I have also pet sat for friends and family for about 8 years which has included walking, bathing, house sitting, and general care. Typically I am free whenever you need me! I usually do 1-2 drop in’s per day if my clients are out of town, but I can always do more if requested! I do not have my own place at the moment so I am not able to board pets but I will be respectful of clients homes and am willing to do whatever it is that you need!
