About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

We’ve both been post surgery, then sick so our sweet boy had been cooped up for a couple days & was very excited to meet Emily. Once she learned he prefers park play over walks, she took him to one of his favorites and spent well over the allotted time both bookings. In turn, we had a very happy exercised Doodle who got to romp with pup pals.”

Since our dog isn't great around other dogs and therefore can't stay at a sitter's house, we were very grateful that Kory was willing to do this for us! She gave a little update each time she came over and sent a photo each time, which really helped calm my nerves about how our dog was doing, especially since this was their first time meeting. I am pretty particular about who I allow to care for my dog, but I felt like Sherlock was in great hands with Kory the entire time! About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. (Ella) I am normally free in the afternoons after school. Outside of dog sitting I enjoy gymnastics. (Henry) I have a pug that I walk everyday in my neighborhood. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for 9 years. I have also pet sat for friends and family for about 8 years which has included walking, bathing, house sitting, and general care. Typically I am free whenever you need me! I usually do 1-2 drop in’s per day if my clients are out of town, but I can always do more if requested! I do not have my own place at the moment so I am not able to board pets but I will be respectful of clients homes and am willing to do whatever it is that you need!

About: Raised by a veterinarian, I have been an animal-lover my whole life. Over my lifetime, I've had and/or cared for cats, dogs, and many other animals. I've done farm-sitting and worked for veterinarians as a technician, so I'm comfortable with giving medications and caring for animals of any size, age, and temperament. I got my first personal pet (that I didn't have to share with my family) for my 13th birthday, and have rarely been without at least one fur baby ever since. I currently have a standard poodle named (Criminitly) Trigger, after the vulture on Disney's Robin Hood. He is a goofy, Velcro, momma's boy who has earned the nickname Captain Kangaroo from his grandma. He loves to "help" me do everything, including rehearse music with my uncle. I am a full-time student at Boise State, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to help your furry babies be happy until you return. I'm happy to spend time at your fur baby's home giving them whatever attention they need. I can do drop-in visits for dogs and cats of any size, and take puppers out on walks, whether you're out of town or just at work for long hours. If they need medications, I can do that, too.

About: I have grown up with many animals in my household including birds, rodents, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I love working with animals and getting the opportunity to give them the love and care that they need. Once I moved out and started school, I decided to get my own dog, and it was the best decision I ever made! I have a three-year-old blue heeler who needs tons of attention and care and from this experience I have learned a lot about dogs and how to care for certain breeds properly. I am currently a college student on summer break looking to fill my time with an activity I will enjoy. I am free whenever needed any day or time of the week.
