About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. DISCLAIMER!! (I WILL BE LEAVING FOR SCHOOL AUG 20th) I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

About: I have taken care of pets for many years. I have had many dogs in my home throughout my childhood. I have done dog sitting for a couple of years, within dog sitting I have taken dogs on walks as well. In addition, I have experience with small animals including hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, fish, and frogs! I’m currently going into my first year of college at Boise State! I do have classes everyday except Friday however, the timing varies each day. Mondays and Wednesdays are a fuller than Tuesdays and Thursdays! I do not have a job however I will be a college student starting late August! However, I am able to care for your pets while attending college! I have lived with dogs all my life so I know how to properly care for your pets! I will make sure they are fed, have water, have potty breaks, go on wonderful walks, and have tons of cuddles! About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. (Henry) I have been around dogs of all ages my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs, I am sure to walk at a pace the dog is comfortable with and take breaks if the dog needs time to rest. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. About: Have provided and used pet services for over 30 years. My own dogs have always been hunting dogs (English Setters); but have never hunted them; so I am use to dogs that require a lot of exercise. The longest consecutive amount of time I have taken care of a dog is six weeks when owner has been out of the country. Besides walking, if you have a fenced in backyard would be happy to spend time with your dog in it’s own backyard either playing with it, or just letting it sun bath. Happy to text you images of it daily so you can see it is okay and enjoying itself. Responsible, 50 something, retired professional looking to fill days and spend sometime outdoors. East and North end Boise. Currently working 3 days a week in Healthcare; so, I am use to getting up at 4 AM so early booking are not a problem. I do not take care of pets in my own home; however, I do have a commercial bathing station in my garage for dogs and am happy to discuss giving your dog a bath.
