It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such caring and reliable hands - I could tell he was happy and well looked after. We’ll definitely book again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.
“Craig is the absolute best!! And Gunner clearly loves him. Craig goes above and beyond, with adorable pictures and letting me know when the session begins and ends , as well as the route they walked. He is highly reliable always shows up on time. We love Craig!”

“I booked Emily to walk my 18 month old Golden Retriever the day of my child's 4th birthday. I was hoping he would come home nice and tired! When I met Emily she was very friendly and my pup took to her right away. She took him for a nice long walk and when he came home he was happy and soooooooo pleasant to be around! The next day I took him for a walk and he did not pull on the leash or bite it, as is his usual custom! I can attribute that to Emily because I know she worked with him! I will use her again for sure! Happy Puppy means Happy Mom!!!”

“Gayle was wonderful with our dog. Our dog is well behaved but big, 70lbs. Gayle was able to walk him for 1 hour everyday. S Gayle is great with dogs and super responsive. Loved the use of a rover Card everyday sent from Gayle!”

About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. (Henry) I have been around dogs of all ages my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs, I am sure to walk at a pace the dog is comfortable with and take breaks if the dog needs time to rest. (Ella) I love all dogs but especially those that like to be pet and snuggled. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. (Ella) I am normally free in the afternoons after school. Outside of dog sitting I enjoy gymnastics. (Henry) I have a pug that I walk everyday in my neighborhood. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. (Ella) When the dogs are in my backyard, I stay with them to make sure they feel comfortable.

As a Reiki Master, I also offer optional daily Reiki sessions for pups who benefit from grounding, emotional support, or deeper relaxation. Inside, dogs get cozy rest time, a predictable routine, and plenty of snuggles from the whole family. Whether your pup wants to play, explore, or just relax, they’re cared for like one of our own. Your dog is never just “in the background.” They’re part of the rhythm of my day, seen, supported, and included in a peaceful, loving environment.
“Kory came to our house to walk and check in on our dog multiple times per day while we were on vacation. Since our dog isn't great around other dogs and therefore can't stay at a sitter's house, we were very grateful that Kory was willing to do this for us! She gave a little update each time she came over and sent a photo each time, which really helped calm my nerves about how our dog was doing, especially since this was their first time meeting. I am pretty particular about who I allow to care for my dog, but I felt like Sherlock was in great hands with Kory the entire time! She was even able to check up on him for an additional day at the last minute when our flight got cancelled!”

“Our dog,Buster, loved Jolynne! She was very patient with him when he wasn’t sure about going out in the rain. Today he was waiting at the door for her even though I home ! I will definitely use her again!”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, and I truly love caring for them all. I currently have two doodles (a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle) and a brown tabby cat. I’ve also grown up with Chihuahuas, Pugs, Cats, and other Goldendoodles, so I’m familiar with a wide range of sizes, temperaments, and needs. Beyond my own pups, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, including a big, lovable Husky named Snow and several elderly dogs who needed extra patience and care, especially those with mobility issues. I know how important it is to meet each dog where they are, whether that means active playtime or just quiet companionship and gentle support. I treat every dog like part of the family, and I’m always happy to follow specific routines, administer medication, or provide calm, attentive care for senior pups. I’m currently home for the summer from college, which means I have a very open and flexible schedule. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I have plenty of time and energy to give. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I’m available and committed to making your pet’s care a priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality so I can create a calm, familiar environment for them. In my home, pets have a clean, cozy space to relax, with plenty of supervised playtime and attention. I keep all doors secure, avoid unsafe foods or toys, and always monitor interactions with my own friendly doodles. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely—from feeding and medication to walks and bedtime routines. I make sure pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while you're away. Communication is key, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Linda was great! She was easy to work and communicate with and sent lots of pics after each walk. Gave me great piece of mind that my old dog would be in great hands.”

“Katie is awesome! She walks our little buddy every day and takes great care of her! Katie sends very detailed updates and pictures and is very communicable whenever there are issues. Highly recommend!”

“Mary was amazing. She understood how to work with our high energy herding dog and gave her plenty of exercise with long walks. Her communication was great and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

Jamysen is great! She was very responsive despite my last-minute request, flexible with scheduling, and genuinely attentive to my dog's walking needs. Craig obviously enjoys his work and is especially fond of my pup because she is an eager and willing walker. I am unable to give her the exercise she needs, so Im thrilled to have someone who truly cares about her taking her on her daily walks. I trust Craig to take care of my dog and give her the activity level so important to keeping her happy and engaged. She will drop whatever she is doing and be on high alert when his van comes down our street. That speaks volumes about how much she loves her walks, but more importantly, what a good, kind handler Craig is. Dogs always have good "taste" in people!
Samatha was wonderful. As stated in her experience block she is "dedicated to being in tune with each animal and their individual personalities, unique quirks and tells, likes and dislikes, and personal sensitivities" which proved absolutely true in our case with our high energy, reactive dog who is also epileptic. She is knowledgeable and sensitive to the animal as well as the pet parent(s). Since I was home when she came to walk the dog for us I had the opportunity to chat with her a bit and watch how she worked with our dog. She was great and we hope to see her again.
