About: Hi there, my name is Jess and I love all kinds of pets. I've grown up around all sorts of breeds and have always had a pet in my life. I enjoy long walks and playtime. I'll treat your pets with the upmost care, provide any baths and dietary needs requested. I enjoy pets, and enjoy making sure that they are happy and well cared after. I know what it's like traveling and wondering what my pet is doing when I'm away. If you want photo updates and texts of your pets when your gone, I will be happy to accommodate those requests. I work from 9 am till 5 PM Monday through Friday. I have a hour long lunch break at noon, so depending on location I can do a drop in on my lunch break. I do come home for my lunch when boarding your pet. I am available on holidays and weekends too! Additional charges will apply for longer stays I make sure the doors are closed and locked behind me when in another’s home. That all the owners rules are followed. I ensure that the pets are well looked after. When house sitting the pet, I make sure that it's just myself and the pet(s) and that I leave the house in the same condition as which it were in when I arrived.

About: I have mostly taken care of dogs, cats and chickens. When I had my own dogs, I didn’t realize that house and pet sitting was even an option. I would drive them about an hour to a wonderful woman who had converted her former horse property into a place where dogs could run and get plenty of exercise in the horse rink. It was a much better alternative than a traditional kennel but was disruptive to their normal routine and caused anxiety. One trip especially stands out. A snowstorm came through while I was away, and because the property was located at the top of a hill, we couldn’t get to the dogs for three additional days. They were safe and well cared for, but the experience made me realize how much I would have preferred for them to be comfortable in their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and routines. I’m a retired professional now self-employed who is looking for opportunities to combine house and pet sitting with exploring Ada County, Idaho and Clackamas County Oregon. I’m currently pet-free, but I’ve had three dogs, three cats and many chickens over the years, so I understand the companionship pets provide and the importance of keeping them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I’m comfortable with both dogs, cats and chickens and would treat your pets calmly and with kindness. As a homeowner myself, I understand that your home is your biggest investment and your personal space. I’m observant and pay attention. If I hear water running unexpectedly, notice something unusual, or see something that doesn’t seem right, I’m the type of person who investigates rather than ignoring it. I’m conscientious about keeping a home secure, clean, and well cared for. I enjoy a peaceful home environment and would be happy spending time with your pets, taking dogs for walks, watering plants, collecting mail, bringing in packages, and generally keeping an eye on things while you’re away.

About: I adore all kinds of animals, especially dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs of all sizes and I now have my own little family. I have a kitten named Duck Duck and a gecko named Gecki Gavito (legal name Larry) I work a 9-5 during the week but have open availability in the early morning, evenings, and weekends. I am also a full time college student so I have no problem hanging out with animals while I work! Looking after a pet in their own home is easier in my experience. The familiar environment puts them at ease and it's fun to play with their favorite toys and see what their routine is.
