“Katie and her husband did a fantastic job with my dog. They were very caring, provided lots of pictures and videos, and were good communicators. I will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“My pups had such a great time with Lori and her family! We got lots of photos of their walks, outings to the dog park, and adventures hiking in the foothills. They came home tired and happy!”

“Jazzi took such good care of Finn while I was out of town! She was able to accommodate a very last minute booking and exceeded all my hopes for a dog sitter. She updated me with pictures and I could tell he was loving his time with her and the other pups!”

“We never worry about Mimi when she is with Benita and family. Mimi is never stressed about going and is always happy and healthy when we pick her up. Thank you, Benita!”

“Fantastic care today! Zia had a fun day and she was happy from the moment we arrived! We received lots of pics and even videos of backyard play. We will be back!”

“Ashley and her family were wonderful with Mohavi and Misha. Her kids are great with dogs and are so helpful as well. I felt at peace knowing my older gals were being well looked after while I was out of town for 5 days. Ashley will send updates and photos daily. They'll treat your pet like their own. Mohavi and misha loved the family and even my shy anxious misha felt comfortable. Thank you so much!”

“Amanda did an amazing job watching my dog while we were out of town. He had a great time and loves getting to stay there! I recommended Amanda and will definitely let my dog stay at her house anytime.”

“Heidi was great. I felt completely comfortable while away on vacation. I could tell Heidi and her 2 boys really connected with Creed. This was a last minute booking but glad I found Heidi. She sent frequent updates and photos. I plan on booking with Heidi again”

“I had such a wonderful experience! She took amazing care of my dog, Jesse, and spoiled him with so much love that my heart felt completely at ease while I was away. She sent pictures every day and kept me updated, which meant the world to me. It’s clear she truly cares about the pets she watches. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter!”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“Wonderful family that took great care of my pup!! Couldn't have been happier with all they did! Definitely will use them again when needed! Thank you so much!!”

“We would not leave our girls with anyone else! Elise is amazing. We've been booking with her for a few years now. Our girls are always happy to go to her house, and run right in. We are always grateful for how well she takes care of them!”

“So happy with Jillian and the amazing love and care she provided for my doggo! She was extremely accommodating. We are so very happy we found her because we will definitely work with her again ❤️”

“Bobbi and her family definitely loved on our Mochi the way she’s loved by us! They treated her like their own family and made sure she really was well taken-cared of. We were felt assured that we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about Mochi. She only takes one dog at a time which is what we looked for so our Mochi had all the attention. And she definitely had! Lol. She sent us pictures and videos of Mochi while we’re gone that made our hearts full. We’ll definitely book her again next time!”

“Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”

“I booked Tasha for my dog Milo and had a great experience! You can tell Tasha cares for her clients (and their owners). I got many updates thoroughout the day including pictures! I would definitely use Tasha again. I especially loved the report card after we got back from our trip. It’s nice to know that I didn’t have to worry about Milo during our vacation. He was well taken care of, highly recommend Tasha.”

“Kristi is so awesome! It was my first time using Rover for our 5 cats and she made us feel so comfortable leaving them for the weekend. She is so attentive and loving with them! She sent a bunch of photos each visit which was the best!!!”

About: I’ve owned cats or dogs pretty much my entire life. Currently, I own a border collie mix and love spending time with her. I love getting to know other animals and have dog/cat sitting experience with neighbor's pets also. Currently, I’m working as an on call wildland firefighter that should get going here in about the next few months or so. I’m pretty much always available, unless I will be on a fire. I love interacting and getting to know pets in general. I also prioritize communication with the owners to keep them informed of what is going on.

About: I’ve been around cats for the majority of my life. My sister-in-law moved in with us at one point and I got to hangout with her cats a lot! They were out of town a lot so I had to take care of the kitties while they were away.
“We went on vacation for 3 weeks and Breyona did a great job taking care of our cat. We appreciated how she kept us informed while we were away and sent pictures of our cat. It made our trip better knowing our cat was well taken care of and we could rely on her while we were away.”

“Samantha is SO AMAZING. Was never once worried - always on time, took care of my Molly for the full time if not longer, and went out of her way to make sure everything was filled and cleaned without even asking. Such a kind person, abundant and prompt communication. Already rebooked :)”

“Sarah always does a fantastic job. Its always scary leaving my very senior (and grumpy) kitty in someone else's hands but I know he is well cared for by Sarah. I hope to continue to book with her for all my future trips.”

“Kory did an amazing job doing daily drop-ins for my kitty for entire week. Daily updates & pics were reassuring… she went above & beyond by watering plants, feeding birds & ducks, bringing in mail. I will def request Kory again & recommend her to others.”

“Niamh is truly a gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have two cats with completely different personalities (one being very anxious). Niamh was attentive to their individual needs and provided each with exceptional, personalized care. She exceeded expectations with an attention to the details and our cats’ preferences. We greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of Niamh’s communication. This was our first booking with Niamh but we will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Crystal did a great job with drop in visits for our cat over a 2 week period. She kept us updated on what our cat was up to, made sure to send us pictures and give him some pets, since he was missing us.”

“We’ve booked Sara multiple times for pop-in visits with our cat. You’d never know it from Sara’s interactions with her, but our cat has a violent side. She’s scared off sitters before. But we can tell from the pictures and Austen’s disposition when we get home that she feels comfortable with Sara. Brings us great peace of mind!”

“This was my very first experience with in-home cat sitting and Megan was outstanding in every way! I am so grateful and will continue to ask for her help / care as long as she is available!!”

“Jordan did a fantastic job with our drop in visits! She arrived on time and made sure our pups had ample play time. She provided photos and a summary after each visit. Highly recommend!”

About: I started life with 3 cats and grew up with 5. I've always had cats in my life, and they are my main loves. I am patient in making friends with kitties, and with my veterinary experience, I can also administer medications as needed. I raised a cat-lover, and the pic is my big feisty grand-cat, whom I adore.
About: I'm excited to help get your dog the exercise and attention it needs, or to stop by and check-in and feed any of your fur babies when you need a hand! I'm primarily interested in walking Mondays and Wednesdays, but may occasionally available on other weekdays as well. Mornings work great for me, but am open to other times. Because life is a bit unpredictable at the moment I'm not currently available for longer term weekly walks (but I'd love to fill in when you need someone!). I'm not currently offering in-home care, our lovely kitty doesn't like other guests - so dog walking or drop-in visits are the extent of services that I'm able to provide.
“Andrea took very good care of my boy! She fed, watered, and cleaned up after him everyday and put on some cat shows for my kitty while he waited for my return. She also took pictures of Mochi and I was happy to see him doing well. I highly recommend Andrea and would happy to have her again.”

“They did a great job! Our dog is high energy and can be a lot to walk so we were appreciative to have knowledgeable dog sitters that took great care. Will for sure be using again!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Southeast Boise

About: Hi, I’m Megan! 🐾 For the past 7+ years I have devoted my life to caring for animals! Currently working as a shelter clinic manager, I have plenty of experience with both medical and behavioral sides of animal care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities while they’re in my care. I also have extra help at home! My sister lacy, who is a stay-at-home pet lover with pet-sitting experience, helps provide additional attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. This means your pet gets plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and love—even when life gets busy. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go on walks, or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, medications (including oral meds and all injection route's if needed), seniors, and those who may need a little extra TLC. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet behind, so I will provide as much communication as possible so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their stay feel like a fun, safe “vacation” while you’re away. Pricing information: For Boise specifically, most sitters seem to fall into these ranges: * Budget/new sitter: $25–$35/night * Average experienced sitter: $40–$55/night * Very experienced/medical care or constant supervision: $60–$90+/night Since you work in vet med and have shelter/medical experience, if you were pet sitting at your house, you could likely charge on the higher end—especially if you’re comfortable with meds, seniors, post-op care, injections, etc. A vet-tech level sitter in Boise could reasonably start around $50–$75/night per dog. Availability & Schedule 🐾 I work Sunday–Wednesday, but your pet will still receive plenty of love, attention, and care! I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday fully off, allowing for lots of one-on-one time, walks, playtime, and cuddles. To make sure pets always have companionship and supervision, my sister is home 100% of the time as a stay-at-home animal lover with pet-sitting experience. Between the two of us, your pet will have consistent care, attention, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. Our Home Environment 🐾 We strive to provide a fun, loving, and safe home-away-from-home experience for every pet in our care! Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play safely. We also have three smaller, friendly dogs who love making new friends (while always respecting each pet’s comfort level and personality). Whether your pup enjoys playing, cuddling, or relaxing, we make sure they feel comfortable and included. There are plenty of cozy dog beds, toys, treats, and attention to go around! We treat every pet like family and do our best to keep their routine as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Safety, supervision, love, and lots of tail wags are always our priority.
“We put in a very last minute request for a sitter for our 2 dogs and Maddy happily accepted! Seamless communication, drop off, and pickup! Dogs were well taken care of for the few hours they were with her!!”

“Mary was absolutely awesome! She helped out last minute with a meet and greet and watched my little Finn during my first week back at school. This was Finn’s first time away from me, and she made him so comfortable that he was excited to come back every time. She was incredibly responsive, went above and beyond, and made everything so easy. Finn always came back calm, happy, and ready to cozy up. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Although we only required a few hours of dog sitting, I was impressed by Elise’s caring and engaged personality. Will definitely keep her in mind when back in Boise and if sitting is necessary.”

“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

“Honestly it’s so heartwarming to know that they’re still great people in this world that care about animals as much as the rest of us Sam and Genna were able to help us in a tight spot with real fast response time . As we all are probably a little bit hesitant leave your pets with strangers, trust me there are no strangers will treat your animals with the upmost respect and love like these two. It’s so adorable being able to roll up to their doggy daycare and your puppy is sitting there waiting for you like they just got done with school . Highly recommend Sam and Genna!!!!!! 100/100”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and have been fostering with the humane society for many years. I currently have an golden of my own and we love to explore new areas in the foothills, around the greenbelt, or even the beautiful sights up bogus. I usually pet sit for family friends, but would love to meet some new floofs! I'm currently working part time, and have a pretty open schedule for this summer! Every week is different, but I'm available almost every weekday and most weekends. My backyard is secure and big dog approved with plenty of room to run around. There is a toy basket inside, but somehow the whole yard gets transformed into a dog toy wonderland. As for any homes that I may visit, I will ensure everything is how I found it and will give your pet all the attention they need without overstepping their boundaries.
“Shelly has such a warm and welcoming home. She made our dog feel so comfortable and excited about daycare. I would highly recommend Shelly's care to anyone looking for safe, friendly, spacious, and accommodating doggy daycare.”

About: Hi! My name is Brooke and I have petsitted for people for almost 20 years. I love animals of all sorts of shapes and sizes. I hope you'll consider me for watching your babies and here is why. I've administered shots and medicine and up until 2 years ago I had pets of my own. I lost my heart dog Murphy on NYE of 22 in surgery, got diagnosed with Cervical cancer myself that March, mid-April had a radical hysterectomy. A week before my birthday that year I also lost my cat to a dog or coyote attack. Murphy(dog) was 10, Velcro(cat) was 15 and my lil shadow. I lost all that is light and love that year. I cannot have kids, and I dearly miss my fur babies nothing will ever replace them but I do have a big heart. I am tired of going home to an empty house. I want someone to argue over the last bite with and whether or not cheese really is a dessert. I am ready to get another dog, but first savings!!! I've always had savings for myself and my animals because life can go sideways. So that's why I'm here! I'm currently working two part time jobs to help pay the bills and what I get here will go straight to savings so I am properly prepared to get a pup of my own. I would love nothing more to love on your animals while I prepare for my own. And possible into the future as well. I am currently only available for overnight petsitting at your home I am working 2 part time jobs and gone for about 8 hrs a day for said jobs except maybe one day a week. Your animal is my main priority! I chill with them and follow th parameters paid out for me. And hang with them for the agreed upon timeframes

“Luke was so kind and sweet to our pups! Was very attentive and caring. Will definitely book over and over again as long as he’s available. Thank you for being amazing!!! We left town for a trip and definitely eased our worries.”

“Jamysen is great! She was very responsive despite my last-minute request, flexible with scheduling, and genuinely attentive to my dog's walking needs. It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such caring and reliable hands - I could tell he was happy and well looked after. We’ll definitely book again!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for around 8 years now, family friends and neighbors often rely on me to check in and feed their pets. I’ve also been a vet tech for 2 years so I have plenty of experience with medications and any medical needs. I have a flexible job and only work about 27 hours a week, so pet care is a natural part of my days. Whether it’s stopping by for a quick visit or spending extra cuddle time, I’m able to fit my schedule around each pet’s needs. I believe every pet feels happiest when their routine stays familiar, so I always follow your pet’s normal schedule and comfort level. Whether that means dropping in for regular check-ins, going on walks or runs that match their usual pace, or keeping their space calm and tidy, I make sure your pets feel safe and cared for just like they do when you’re home. My goal is to make their time with me as stress-free and comfortable as possible.
“Craig by far exceeded my expectations. I was worreid sick about leaving my pup. This is my first time using Rover, and I literally had only two days notice to find someone. Craig accomodated my last minute request to meet, and instantly I felt at ease with him. I travel once a month for work, and this latest trip is the first time I felt at peace and was not stressed out the entire trip with worry and regret. My pup adores him. He sent FANTASTIC pictures oftern, showed up as scheduled and communicated often with me. I can't say enough great things about him. Its so comforting to know we found such a caring and great human to help out with our fur baby. We are absolutely going to be repeat customers from this point on. 10/10!!”

“Mary was amazing. She understood how to work with our high energy herding dog and gave her plenty of exercise with long walks. Her communication was great and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Sarah is great with my dog Barry! She got him to go more than half a mile on walks, fed, and took him out for bathroom breaks for when I scheduled her to! I will for sure rebook her until she’s unavailable. Thanks again Sarah!”

“Misha is so happy and calm because Emily takes him for nice long hikes with his favorite dog friends. He no longer looks concerned at all when I leave for work, and he is so much calmer and happier. She is really the best if you have a high energy dog or one who needs a diet and exercise program.”

“Bailey did a great job walking Jasper! She was very attentive to his needs (he’s a senior dog) and was excellent at following instructions for treat puzzles etc. Thank you so much, Bailey!”

“Anastasia walked Miso for a month and it was a big help. She is sweet and gentle, and my dog Miso enjoyed the fun walks with her. He would ran to greet her every morning! Thanks Anastasia!”

About: Raised by a veterinarian, I have been an animal-lover my whole life. Over my lifetime, I've had and/or cared for cats, dogs, and many other animals. I've done farm-sitting and worked for veterinarians as a technician, so I'm comfortable with giving medications and caring for animals of any size, age, and temperament. I got my first personal pet (that I didn't have to share with my family) for my 13th birthday, and have rarely been without at least one fur baby ever since. I currently have a standard poodle named (Criminitly) Trigger, after the vulture on Disney's Robin Hood. He is a goofy, Velcro, momma's boy who has earned the nickname Captain Kangaroo from his grandma. He loves to "help" me do everything, including rehearse music with my uncle. I am a full-time student at Boise State, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to help your furry babies be happy until you return. I'm happy to spend time at your fur baby's home giving them whatever attention they need. I can do drop-in visits for dogs and cats of any size, and take puppers out on walks, whether you're out of town or just at work for long hours. If they need medications, I can do that, too.

About: I have grown up with many animals in my household including birds, rodents, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I love working with animals and getting the opportunity to give them the love and care that they need. Once I moved out and started school, I decided to get my own dog, and it was the best decision I ever made! I have a three-year-old blue heeler who needs tons of attention and care and from this experience I have learned a lot about dogs and how to care for certain breeds properly. I am currently a college student on summer break looking to fill my time with an activity I will enjoy. I am free whenever needed any day or time of the week. I live in a duplex home and have a fenced backyard with a community dog park available. I do have one dog myself with an available crate if needed to crate your pet.

I’m currently searching for jobs right now so I’ll be very available to look after your pets all days of the week! I’m open to anything from house sitting to the occasional dog walk! I’ll keep your household very clean and ensure your pets are well fed and have lots of play time!
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.
“Josie S. is a wonderful dog walker that I would highly recommend! She was personable, reliable, and communicated regularly. And she was great with our cairn terrier. Now that we’re back from our vacation, he keeps looking out the window for her. Guess we’ll have to go somewhere soon again so he can get more fun walks from Josie!”

About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. (Henry) I have been around dogs of all ages my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs, I am sure to walk at a pace the dog is comfortable with and take breaks if the dog needs time to rest. (Ella) I love all dogs but especially those that like to be pet and snuggled. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. (Ella) I am normally free in the afternoons after school. Outside of dog sitting I enjoy gymnastics. (Henry) I have a pug that I walk everyday in my neighborhood. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. (Ella) When the dogs are in my backyard, I stay with them to make sure they feel comfortable.

“Alisa was incredible! She was flexible and treated our dog like she was her own. She sent cute pictures and updates. I felt extremely safe leaving our dog with her. Would definitely use her again.”

“We never worry about Mimi when she is with Benita and family. Mimi is never stressed about going and is always happy and healthy when we pick her up. Thank you, Benita!”

“Sean was fantastic! Our little Chug is getting older and he perfectly accommodated her and her needs. He even took her out for her favorite activity — tagging along while being carried in her backpack!”

“Shannon was fantastic with our pug Steve! Her communication was excellent and incredibly quick, she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. She gave us peace of mind that Steve was in caring hands. Would recommend Shannon to any other dog parents.”
