“Absolutely amazing! I worry about my geriatric lab who has separation anxiety. Amy sent messages multiple times a day with photos checking in with how things are going right down to potties, walks and medicine. I 100% vouch for her and highly recommend.”

“Emily was so patient and communicative! She took excellent care of our young puppy, which definitely included extra challenges due to his age. She sent us pictures daily, and he seemed happy, safe, and perfectly at home the entire time!”

“Ashley and her family were fantastic with Eddie. I was very anxious about leaving him for so long and for the first time alone. But the second she opened the door for our Meet and Greet, Eddie walked right in and didn't park, and he always barks at new people. She sent pictures every day and gave us updates. It is comforting knowing that I have somewhere to take him whenever the need arises. I would highly recommend Ashley and Charles!!”

“So happy with Jillian and the amazing love and care she provided for my doggo! She was extremely accommodating. We are so very happy we found her because we will definitely work with her again ❤️”

“Moya is amazing. I cannot recommend her high enough. I have an older dog so am always very careful with where I place him and she immediately put my worries to ease. Great communication before, during, and after. Family environment which was perfect for my dog. It felt more like an extension of my own care for my dog than trying to fit him into a different environment. Thank you Moya!!”

“Daisy had a great time staying at Maddy's! Maddy sent me lots of photos of Daisy on walks, playing with her ball or just chillin' on the couch. I will definitely be using Maddy's services another time we might be out-of-town. Thanks Maddy!”

“Incredibly kind, conscientious caretakers. We received detailed updates on our pup the entire trip and they were so loving toward our dog. Their home is SO clean and homey and they have a HUGE backyard for our pup to play. Dog doors make it easy for my dog to come in and out as he pleased. HIGHLY recommend!”

“Elizabeth and family were awesome to work with again. Took great care of our dog, sent daily updates, and took her on plenty of walks and plenty of play time. Will definitely use again!”

“There aren't enough good things that I can say about Chad and his family! Not only was he super responsive, but I definitely felt like my dog was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I received many photo updates, usually when my dog was out and about playing with other pups. Having someone that you can depend on is paramount and I hit the jackpot with Chad. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“BEST ROVER EVER! Seriously, we tried several Rovers and never found the right fit, but just as we were about to give up and drive up to Lewiston to drop the dogs off at my mom’s, we found Lori. She is incredible—great communication, loving towards our babies, and went above and beyond to take them on daily walks and hikes in the parks and foothills of Boise. Thank you Lori!”

“Excellent sitter! He was kind, professional, and very responsive, making everything easy from start to finish. I really appreciated his communication and reliability. I would absolutely recommend him and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.”

“Tasha and Matt were absolutely amazing! From the meet-and-greet to drop-off and pickup, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease. Tasha was prompt, communicative, and kept us updated throughout our dog’s stay with lots of photos and messages. It was clear that our dog was getting plenty of love, attention, and excellent care, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We’ve used several Rover sitters in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Tasha and Matt truly went above and beyond, and we felt confident that our dog was in the best hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and are already looking forward to using them in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“Amber is a life saver!! She took such good care of my pup Stewie. She kept me up to date during his stay by sending photos and videos of Stewie and had quick responses. Her pup Jasper and Stewie played all day and hit it off instantly. Stewie came home tired and after a long trip away, I was thrilled to know he was taken care of and had the best time with Amber and Jasper. I highly recommend and will definitely use again!”

About: When I was a little kid, I was raised as a dog person, but always had a deep connection with furry felines! Over the years I have developed an affection towards cats from working at my local animal shelter and other experiences. It is my strong belief that the line between cats and dogs is nonexistent, and that all animals deserve to be treated the way we want to be treated. Special Skills: - Proper animal handling (NO scruffing) - Providing & exceeding in cat enrichment/activities - Administration of medications - Knowledge of animal behavior - Flexibility with all feline ages, including seniors - Experience in basic animal care/cleaning protocols

“Niamh was great with Babou and took wonderful care of him. She kept in contact with us the entire time and sent great updates daily. We would definitely have her watch our boy again!”

“Aaron is absolutely amazing! He is kind, caring, and a great caretaker to any animal. Aaron stayed with my kitty, Paris for an entire week (which is the longest I've ever been away from her in 14 years) and things could not have gone better. He showed up promptly when he said he'd be there. He sent me updates and pics throughout the day ever single day even on days I told him I wouldn't have service. It was so nice to open my phone and have updates from the day before even though I wasn't expecting them. It was an even better feeling knowing that Aaron truly spent a lot of time with Paris as she is old, sassy, and needy for attention. Aaron was even there when I returned home in order to exchange keys and answer any questions that I had while I was away. It's obvious that Aaron truly cares about his work and his love for animals. I would absolutely book Aaron again and you should too!”

“Stephanie is THE best! She provides excellent updates and overall great communication, and she definitely goes above and beyond expectations. Our cats were clearly excited to see her every time which speaks volumes of her gift and energy with animals! Absolutely would use her assistance again!”

“Kristi was fantastic with our kitties! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and is amazing with them. She gave us frequent updates a lots of adorable pictures! The cats got food, cuddles, playtime and seemed very happy to spend time with her. We will definitely be using her services again. Thanks Kristi!”

“Kory did an excellent job with our cats and they seemed very content when we came back. She did everything we asked and sent lots of pictures! I will certainly use her again!”

About: I'm excited to help get your dog the exercise and attention it needs, or to stop by and check-in and feed any of your fur babies when you need a hand! I'm primarily interested in walking Mondays and Wednesdays, but may occasionally available on other weekdays as well. Mornings work great for me, but am open to other times. Because life is a bit unpredictable at the moment I'm not currently available for longer term weekly walks (but I'd love to fill in when you need someone!). I'm not currently offering in-home care, our lovely kitty doesn't like other guests - so dog walking or drop-in visits are the extent of services that I'm able to provide.

“Sarah always does a fantastic job. Its always scary leaving my very senior (and grumpy) kitty in someone else's hands but I know he is well cared for by Sarah. I hope to continue to book with her for all my future trips.”

“Sam took amazing care of my cat Pi! She takes gorgeous photos - I loved seeing them every day! Sam was very communicative, proactive, and took wonderful care of the house and Pi. I know he loved his time with her. I would definitely recommend Sam!”

“Karen was so great. Easy to work with, remembered the trash and recycle bins when I forgot. Brought in packages. Kept me informed. And mostly, loved and took care of our Kitty while we were away. We’d love to have her watch Kitty again.”

“They did a great job! Our dog is high energy and can be a lot to walk so we were appreciative to have knowledgeable dog sitters that took great care. Will for sure be using again!”

“Katie was absolutely amazing! All the animals were really well cared for and seemed super happy when I got back. Charlie was particularly happy, and I think this showed in this pictures Katie would update me with. Absolutely brilliant and can't wait to have Katie look after my pets once again.”

“Mary was absolutely the best. She clearly loves dogs and she was so welcoming to Juno. Her home and yard were spacious and dog friendly. I also need to say Mary went above and beyond… I came down with an unexpected illness and did not need her services for two of the three days. She was so kind about our situation and even refunded us for the days I was sick and canceled services at the last minute. What a lovely human being she is! We are very grateful and will use her service services again when we are back in the Boise area.”

“We put in a very last minute request for a sitter for our 2 dogs and Maddy happily accepted! Seamless communication, drop off, and pickup! Dogs were well taken care of for the few hours they were with her!!”

“Aura had an AMAZING time with Sarah and her family. Aura came home happy and tired which for a mini Aussie is quite an accomplishment! I hope to have Aura play with Sarah again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter! Kelly was so warm, welcoming, and flexible with our timing. Coco immediately felt at home and had a wonderful time playing with Deyo. Kelly went above and beyond by sharing local recommendations that helped us make the most of our quick Boise visit. We had complete peace of mind knowing Coco was in such caring hands. We are incredibly grateful and would happily book with her again!”

“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

“Amelia is lovely. My millie is so excited to go visit each day. Its a lovely environment for her, beautiful yard and such a fun playmate also. She has everything she needs there. Thankyou Amelia, you are much appreciated!”

“Andi and Tim were awesome!! They met us with so much love, excitement and willingness to accept Rollie as her quirky self. Not only were they flexible but they sent me photos n messages to reassure me that Rollie was having the best time and in great hands while they got their dog fix haha. It was great and would 100% recommend them as well as love to book them again next time I’m in town.”

About: From am early age I was introduced to animals and loved them, I currently have 2 cats of my own. I ran into the issue of not being able to board my cats anywhere when a pipe burst in my apartment and we had to relocate for a bit and it made me realize that while many hotels and boarding options are certainly dog-friendly, we seem to have forgotten to consider that some of our feline friends need a place to spend the night too, so I decided to offer overnight boarding for cats! I'd love to help make someones vacation a little easier on their feline friend while giving them peace of mind that their kitty is not locked in cage 24 hours a day. We also would be very happy to host small canine buddies who tolerate cats well Please send a message if you have any questions! I work outside of the home part-time but have a very flexible schedule, and will always be present at the home during your pet's stay. Our home is located in a cul de sac with a large backyard, with a tall fence all around, and one back gate with a latch. Please let us know if you do NOT want your pet to have access to the backyard and I am happy to oblige, and please also let us know if they are a flight-risk 😂. They would basically hang out with the cats and I and have free range of main living areas and their own quiet room next to the living room, and/or our room for overnights if your pet does not like to sleep alone. I have no problem waking up every few hours if your pet is very young or very old and needs to go potty often, just let me know their schedule. There is no smoking in the house.

“Had to find a last minute sitter for Blue during a roadtrip stop and Elise came through for us right away. LIFE SAVER. Blue can be a lot of energy and sometimes I feel guilty leaving him with someone because of that - but Elise was so welcoming. Blue practically jumped into her arms and she just laughed. Made me feel better immediately (and so welcomed). He played with some other dogs, she kept me updated throughout his time there, and I picked him up smiling, wagging his little tail, and tired out (which, YAY). Would book her again and again if I lived in the area!!”

“Twin had a great time and was well cared for. Thanks for taking care of our pup on short notice. Appreciate all the communication as well. We'll book again next time we're in town.”

“Meghan was fantastic! She watched our dog for a couple of days while we were passing through town on a road trip, and I'm so glad we found her! She was super flexible when our plans changed, careful about our dog's medical issues, and sent great pictures. It was so nice knowing he was in good hands. He had a great time with her, and I would not hesitate to use her services again!”
About: New to Boise! I have taken care of pets as a side job for the past 20 years and had my own pets. I am currently without a dog/pet. My last two dogs were rescue dogs. I have fostered numerous cats and dogs in addition to having my own. I am a retired public school teacher from SC. I have a kind heart and animals are usually drawn to me. Love the outdoors and enjoy walking pets in them! I am a single empty nester who has been teaching for 29 years. I live and teach near West Asheville. I can stay overnight on school nights, but only if it is within 30 miles. I am available all weekend and holidays (Except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year). My hours at school are from 7:30 am to 3:00. I do have an hour planning/lunch break if you are close to the school. Otherwise, if your pet can't go from 7:30 to 3:00 on school days, then I may not be the best fit. My pets are like my family. I treat them and their owners’ homes as if they were my own. I like to go by the motto 'leave it better than you found it." Your pet will be happy and your house will be clean when you return.

“I’m a first time dog owner. Today was a first time dog walker scheduled. Couldn’t be happier with the app and service but especially Autumn and Brian for being flexible and having Cooper’s best interest at heart for incoming storm. Thank you !! Will definitely call on you again! ?”
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. DISCLAIMER!! (I WILL BE LEAVING FOR SCHOOL AUG 20th) I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

I have 2 days off during the week as well as many breaks within my school day to say hi to fur babies. In order to keep pets safe in the home, I am attentive in making sure that no food is left out, all the doors are shut, and any fence is closed off. When walking pets, I make sure that their leash is not too tight, and the temperature is not to hot for their paws. Along with thing I always monitor behavior to catch if anything seems off with their health.

About: My son, Henry (11), and daughter, Ella (9), love animals of all kinds and were interested in becoming pet sitters/dog walkers. My husband, Ben, and I offered to partner with our kids so they would have some help as they started their journey. The details below are a little more about Henry and Ella. Please note that Ben and I will be the primary caretakers for any animals we interact with and are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. (Henry) I have been around dogs of all ages my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs, I am sure to walk at a pace the dog is comfortable with and take breaks if the dog needs time to rest. (Ella) I love all dogs but especially those that like to be pet and snuggled. (Henry) Most of the time weekends are free for me so I thought why not start a dog walking business to start saving money. Outside of animals, I enjoy learning about computers and new technology. (Ella) I am normally free in the afternoons after school. Outside of dog sitting I enjoy gymnastics. (Henry) I have a pug that I walk everyday in my neighborhood. Even though I have a small dog, I also have experience with larger dogs such as boxers, golden retrievers, pyrenees, labs, doodles, and border collies. (Ella) When the dogs are in my backyard, I stay with them to make sure they feel comfortable.

“Linda did an excellent job with our two dogs. They were happy to see Linda when she came to take them on their daily walk. Linda was great from before the start. To begin there was a list of people to choose from. First contact from Linda before saying she would walk our dogs she asked if there was a time she could meet our dogs. At first meeting the dogs were found of Linda who asked questions and listened to our concerns as well as instructions. Linda did a wonderful job and we would recommend her to any and everyone. Thank you Linda and Rover!”

“Katie is awesome! She walks our little buddy every day and takes great care of her! Katie sends very detailed updates and pictures and is very communicable whenever there are issues. Highly recommend!”

We’ve used several Rover sitters in the past, and this was by far our best experience. Tasha and Matt truly went above and beyond, and we felt confident that our dog was in the best hands. “Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”

“This was my first time leaving my dogs with someone I didn't know and was very happy with how they were treested. Bobbie took fantastic care of my dogs and will be a repeat customer.”

Amanda is the best and we will continue to use her to take the best care of our girl!”

“Carrie and her son did a great job at taking care of our dog while we were away. She updated us throughout the trip and Henry loved getting to play with another dog!”
