“Liz was really great watching our dogs while we were at the rodeo. She was prompt and polite. We especially appreciated the updates she sent us while she watched our dogs. Would definitely use again.”

“Suzanne was wonderful with our dog. He is generally a little nervous with new people but he liked her right away. She checked in while we were gone and sent photos as well. We came home from our trip to a happy dog and a clean house. She was wonderful and I will definitely book with her again!”

“Aaron was wonderful with our pups (one of whom is very anxious) and took great care of our home while we were away for a few days. He also looked after our chickens! He sent lots of updates, and it was great to know our pets were in good hands while we were gone.”

“Michael took great care of Lola and Ringo in our home. They were as happy as can be when we got home after 8 days. It was great knowing that they were happy and being taken great care of while we were on vacation. We definitely recommend Michael.”

“Caroline is the best pet sitter I have ever had. I had a wedding weekend and Caroline stayed at my house with my two dogs Utah and Bodey. My French Bulldog Bodey can be difficult at times and he needs to warm up to new people in his life. Caroline gave him love and affection until Bodey finally gave in to her ways. Caroline showed patience and poise while watching him. As a pet owner who has a dog like Bodey, it put me at ease knowing he was in terrific hands. Bodey even had his "moments" with Caroline but she handled it perfectly. I trust Caroline full heartedly to take care of my two little guys. Lastly, Caroline took amazing care of my place while I was gone. It was spotless upon my return.”

“Cynthia is the best! She is not only a lovely person, she is kind, conscientious, communicative and caring. She sent us frequent emails and photos of our pup while we were away, which we appreciated. It was delightful to come home to a very happy dog and immaculate house. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Thank you, Cynthia!”

“Dena exceeded our expectations. She arrived on time, bonded with our dog. Jimmy was happy and healthy when we returned. Dena sent us periodic texts and pictures with updates which was very reassuring. She was patient with us as this was our first time using Rover. We were initially anxious as our dog is a 15 year old rescue who we have never left with anyone before. By the second day (out of five), Dena felt like family. We would absolutely recommend Dena and will ask for her for our next trip.”

“Martin is amazing! Hope adores him. She's an English bulldog and her little butt wiggles so much when she sees him coming to the door. My girl can be excitable (she's a rescue and loves all human touch) and this can make some people uneasy. Martin had no concerns and was incredible with her. He gave me several updates and pictures throughout the day which meant I could focus on my trip. I am a super picky do mon and I would definitely recommend and will definitely use again.”

“Veronica is fantastic! She really helped us out at super short notice. She was great with Brodie and kept us up to date on how was doing throughout the day. We can’t thank her enough and hope she can sit for us again in the future:)”

“Faith stayed at our house for a few days with our cat and separation anxiety dog and was great! She was easy to communicate with, sent lots of updates and we came home to happy animals and a clean house.”

“Phedre was amazing! So communicative, sent lots of pictures, and took great care of our pup while we were gone. She also left me house in better condition than I left it for her! She did so many things that she didn’t need to but were so nice to come home too! Will definitely have her back!”

“My husband and I are happy to have had Ryan take care of our dog, Theo, and house-sit for the weekend. We chose Ryan because he was responsible and kind. While caring for Theo, he took him on walks, played with him, and provided him with constant attention. He even sent us daily updates with photos. During his stay at our home, he showed great respect for our space and left our home just as kept ad when we left it. When we returned home, we discovered that he had taken the initiative to take out the trash and clean the areas he has used.”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was about 12 for people in my town. I have various pets of my own back in my hometown. I have a dog, 3 cats, chickens, and cows and I loved them so much I decided to become a veterinarian. I have learned countless of tasks while working at a vet clinic, so I feel very qualified. I am a college student, so I have plenty of time outside of classes to help take care of other peoples pets. I have a lot of flexibility, so there are lots of times that work for me! I am able to do anything that you need me to do to keep your pets safe, happy, and healthy while they are under my care. I will treat them as if they were my own, if not better.
“Sarah is one of my favorite Rover sitters. She has done a house stay for me, and been wonderful, and this last trip my dog happily boarded at her house. She sends frequent updates, and I get a relaxing vacation bc I always know my dog is loved and well cared for. I very highly recommend her to anyone!!”

“I highly recommend Anna. She is very responsible and was great with my 2 dogs. She updated me regularly about how my pups were doing. Definitely a huge peace of mind knowing my home and fur babies were in such good hands.”

Depot Bench pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aaron took very good care of our 2 labs. He was super communicative, very friendly, easy to correspond with, and helped me understand some things about Rover that I was a little unclear about being that this was only our 2nd time ever going through the service. One of our labs is a little older and is currently dealing with a stubborn, large wart which needs attention and looking out for. Aaron was very understanding about it and followed all the things we typically do to keep our dog safe while we treat his paw. He also quickly communicated some minor changes he noticed while we were gone, which was really helpful. And our younger lab, who would sit and cuddle all day if he could, appeared to have gotten lots of attention while we were away. We came home to happy, relaxed dogs. Aaron even washed some flatware and glasses I forgot to wash in the chaos before leaving for our trip. Thank you, Aaron!! :)
Addison was great with my pup Leo during an in home sitting. She was very timely, responsible, easy to communicate with and my somewhat anxious rescue puppy, who can take a bit to warm up to strangers and new situations, seemed to feel at ease with her immediately. Would definitely have her pet sit again and recommend!

Alexa was absolutely awesome once again! 8 days planned but she was flexible for us to stay on vacation one more day before driving home. Hikes, walks, happy pups. Our house was immaculate with everything as we left plus more (towels folded, sheets down, trash out and most importantly happy pups!).
