About: I have been pet sitting since I was about 12 for people in my town. I have various pets of my own back in my hometown. I have a dog, 3 cats, chickens, and cows and I loved them so much I decided to become a veterinarian. I have learned countless of tasks while working at a vet clinic, so I feel very qualified. I am a college student, so I have plenty of time outside of classes to help take care of other peoples pets. I have a lot of flexibility, so there are lots of times that work for me! About: I am a veterinary assistant and have worked and surrounded myself with animals my whole life. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, worked with vets, and was a dog handler and a doggie daycare over the past few summer years. I have experience with cat, dogs, fish, rodents, reptiles, and more. I love hiking and spending time outside as well, so hikes with dogs are more than welcome! I recently moved to Boise and am excited to get to know the area, so taking your dog on walks is the perfect excuse for me to explore ;) I work Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm so i before and after my shift I can take care of your furry, scaly or slimy friends! I also don’t work weekends at all so my availability is wide open! When working with animals in their own homes, I think it’s important to understand you’re coming into their space and to work slowly to earn their trust! I have worked with many different animals and know how to read body language, so if your pet is uncomfortable I know how to work with them and listen to their needs.
