Pet care experience

Gentle, reliable, playful pet care!

I swear, every new dog I meet is the funniest and sweetest little pup-kin that could ever be imagined. Each one astounds me with their honest self-expression and innocent spirit. They’re all so different, loving in their own way, asking for love in their own way. What better thing could I do in life than give my love and attention to these little love-bundles? Whether they’re hyper-active, smelly, fearful, nervous, anxious, weird, difficult, or loud, I’m dedicated to giving them the care and affection they deserve. Their smelly-ness, funniness, and shyness are all part of their perfectness. Every new pup I meet becomes a part of my heart, and I become a part of theirs too. I have a calm, loving energy that dogs naturally feel drawn to and relaxed by, and making new doggie friends is my favorite part of being a pet sitter. I’m also very reliable with routines, safety, and responsibility, and I communicate clearly and consistently so you always know how your pet is doing. A little about me: I’m an artist with an old soul and a playful spirit. I’ve been pet-sitting for 11 years, and I’m comfortable with big dogs, shy cats, energetic pups, and everything in between. We’ll go for long walks, smell the plants, and lay on the ground for belly rubs. I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and deeply loved.

First, I want to thank Rover for creating and offering such a valuable service. Secondly, I want to thank Suzanne for providing exceptional care to Bob and our home during our week-long vacation. During our absence, we had an issue that we needed Suzanne's help in resolving and she did so with a can-do attitude and we were able to resolve it over the phone. That was invaluable but Suzanne took it all in stride. Our home and Bob were provided top-notch care and simply cannot say enough what a great match Suzanne was for our home and Bob. Thank you Suzanne for also feeding the hummingbirds and taking such good care of the place. We highly recommend you for house/pet sitting and would be a reference for you at any time! All the best, Jo Ann and Ross

Suzanne was wonderful with our dog. He is generally a little nervous with new people but he liked her right away. She checked in while we were gone and sent photos as well. We came home from our trip to a happy dog and a clean house. She was wonderful and I will definitely book with her again!

Suzanne is one of the most loving and attentive caregivers I’ve ever met. She sang to our chickens each morning, and evening. She knows not to say the word "walk" in front of our beloved dog. So considerate! I’ve seen her teach tricks, take long walks, and give every pet endless affection. Any animal would be lucky to have her care.

Schedule

I’m a student at Boise State, and I always have time gaps in my day that are perfect for dropping in to give pets a potty break, some playtime, or just a little love and company. Weekends are completely open for me, so I have lots of time for longer stays and house sitting. Spending time with animals is one of the highlights of my day, so it’s a really nice balance for school, and I look forward to it!

I like to know as much as possible about your pet’s routine and personality so I can care for them just the way you do. Things like their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite games, and how they do around new people or other animals are really helpful. I’d also like to know if they have any special needs—like medications, health concerns, or quirks (for example, nervous around loud noises or pulls on leash). The more I know ahead of time, the more comfortable and happy your pet will be.
