Safety, trust & environment
I've lived a lifetime with pets and rescued animals, so for me they are family. I treat all living things with respect, understanding, and care. I'm always thinking ahead of potential scenarios when planning any outings, making sure I'm prepared with extra leashes, treats, and/or a strong understanding of an area and what to expect.
Information Cynthia T. would like to know about your pet
To help me better connect with your pet, I'd love to hear about them! Answering these questions will help me understand your babies better! What does a typical daily schedule look like for your pet? What are their favorite things (toys, pets, playing)? Can you describe your pet's general personality? Does your pet take any medications? Are there any restrictions for your pet, such as things they are not allowed to do? How can I better serve you and your pet while you're away?
A typical day
Each visit is tailored to your pet’s pace and will depend on what you share with me. For dogs: If your older pup prefers a relaxed stroll with plenty of sniffing, then we'll wander through the neighborhood and take our time with things. If your zoomer needs a high-energy workout, we will explore the foothills or a dog park for hikes, or spend a good amount of time with a ball, a Chuckit, or a rope for some light tug-of-war. I'm happy to adjust to match their vibe! I focus on keeping routines consistent, and I let trust develop naturally with no forced snuggles, just good energy and respect. For Cats: Mostly, the kitties are in charge! Cats are great at letting you know what they want, don't want, like, and don't like. I generally 'read the room first', then once I know what your kitty needs, we have playtime, brushing, cuddling, or just quiet time together. If there’s something extra you need done, I’m all ears. Just let me know what your pets (or you) prefer.

Pawsitively Reliable!
Pet care experience
Hi there, fellow pet lovers! I’m Cynthia, and I’m so glad you stopped by... I live in the beautiful North End of Boise and have been pet sitting for years, caring for everything from high-energy pups to wise old senior dogs, as well as plenty of cats and occasionally other small animals. From energizing dog walks to cozy cat visits, overnight companionship to reliable drop-in services, I'll handle life's logistics so you can savor life's moments. Consider me your trusted ally who is dedicated to enriching your pet's daily experience while simplifying yours. I’m comfortable with pups of all ages and temperaments, whether they’re anxious zoomers or mellow seniors who just want a calm presence and some TLC. Got a skittish kitty? A bossy little lion? No worries, I speak fluent feline! With a background in cat enrichment and behavior modification, I have a knack for earning the trust of even the most standoffish and secretive cats. Whether your furry companion is shy, bold, or somewhere in between, I can read kitties well, and I always bring a calm, grounded energy that helps them feel safe and secure. I’m also borderline obsessive (in a good way) about secure entries and exits. If your pet is a known escape artist, trust that I’ll take special care not to let them out! Whatever kind of care your best friend needs, I’m happy to help with drop-in visits, walks, meds, belly rubs, play time, you name it. Also, please ask me anything if you can't find it in my profile! I'm happy to discuss extra services that you or your pet needs to feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away!

Reviews
Cynthia did a great job watching our dog overnight at our home. He was very calm and relaxed when we got home. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you!

Our Chihuahua mix doesn’t take to just anyone and he took to Cynthia immediately. She’s very professional and detail oriented, communicating frequently. Gil absolutely loved her. We highly recommend Cynthia.

Thank you Cynthia for taking such great care of Rusty! We appreciate all the updates and photos.

Cynthia was amazing! Took great care of our two miniature dachshunds. She was so communicative. Would definitely book her again!!
