About: We go by Gin (Virginia) and Jack (Kandiack), and we’re a husband-and-wife team who share a deep love for animals. We understand that every pet has a unique personality—from confident, social dogs and cats to shy or anxious pets who need extra patience and reassurance. A few years ago, we bought our home and discovered a large population of unaltered feral cats in the neighborhood. We stepped in to have them spayed and neutered, provided food and shelter, and slowly earned their trust. Over time, they became part of our family. That experience deepened our understanding of patience, routine, and the difference consistent, gentle care can make. I work from home and set my own schedule, giving us flexibility to coordinate visits and stays around your cats’ needs. Together, we plan our availability to provide dependable feeding, medication, playtime, and companionship while keeping your cats’ familiar routines consistent. We’re available for weekday, weekend, and overnight care, with last-minute requests welcome when our schedule allows. We provide attentive care in your home, where your pets can enjoy familiar surroundings and routines. We follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, litter box care, and each pet’s individual needs. For households with multiple pets, we take time to understand their relationships, separate feeding arrangements, and how each one prefers to receive attention. We build trust patiently, using approved treats or favorite toys without forcing interaction. Our experience with rescue and shy cats has taught us the importance of consistency, gentle care, and respecting each animal’s space. We watch for changes in appetite, behavior, and litter box use, communicate concerns promptly, and share updates and photos. We also take care to prevent escapes, secure doors, and follow your home access instructions. About: I’ve been pet sitting for just over two years, mostly for friends and family, and I love it! I’m great with dogs and cats, sticking to their routines, and making sure they are happy while you are away. I am a college student trying to save so I take this job very seriously and am reliable. I’ll even tidy up your house so you can come home to a clean space and a very happy furry friend! I’m a full time college student and all my classes are in the morning. I only work a part time job so I have most of my weekends available to watch your pets and some weekdays. I’m someone who you can feel comfortable leaving in your home. About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. When I was a kid I used to be told not to pet certain animals because they were deemed “unfriendly”, most of them time people were shocked when their animal would warm up to me after making such a statement. Animals are much more intelligent and empathetic than some people give them credit for. Give me a choice between a room full of humans or a room full of animals, and I’ll take the room full of animals every time. I started pet setting when I was 12 and I’ve been doing it on and off ever since. I used to have a dog, sadly he passed from heart failure and I’ve just barely gotten to the point where I’m thinking about getting another. I miss his energy and miss taking him on hikes and long walks. Getting up early is not a problem for me. I live right by the greenbelt so we will be going on lots of walks! At the moment my schedule is very open. I have 2 cats who love dogs, but I know not all dogs love cats. I am more than willing to come over and dog sit and even bring you pup In during the times I’m there as long as your pup likes cats, otherwise me walking your pup and boarding at your house would be better suited for all parties involved.

About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.

I’ve had experience with a fair variety over the course of my life— fish, cats, dogs, turtles, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, bunnies, a wolf spider once... I have two cats at my home who are fed twice a day with free access throughout the apartment unless I know I will be out and about for a long period. I separate my cats to ensure safety from any bullying stemming from redirected or play aggression, and to still allow feeding as they both have different diets. Because they are cats, we have play time when they show signs of being open to it, and we enjoy lots of cuddles and petting—when they are open to it lol! My cats enjoy hanging out on the balcony or by an open window and I check up on them frequently when the screen door is shut to make sure they are comfortable. I interact with them like family, talking to them and watching movies with them!

About: I have always had animals in my life. Cats, dogs, birds. I have cared for small and large breeds. Raised Rottweilers and our latest rescue is a Pitbull Mastiff mix from Boise Bully Breed. I have cared for pets with special needs also enjoy senior pets. I work part time from home with a very flexible schedule, just need a couple hours a week on my laptop. Available for day and night walks. Over nights work for me as well. Our 3 dogs and 1 cat are all very spoiled. The dogs are seniors so their exercise is always age appropriate. When we have foster pups they all step up for quiet play. Whenever I care for others pets I always want to specialize the care for what works best for the animal. I know my own pets are use to their routines and I think it's important to maintain those as pets can often get anxious when moms and dads are gone.
