“Jamysen took great care of my two frenchies. She is punctual, reliable and very responsive to messages. My plants and home were also well cared for. I’d book her again with no hesitation.”

“Emily is awesome!!! She went above and beyond dragging in a huge box from the porch! She kept me updated on my pups and how they were doing. This means everything to me!! I just got a new puppy and I didn’t want to leave him but Emily made it easy! Thank you Emily!!”

About: I don't just make sure your dog has the basics. My goal is to make their experience epic in all the best ways. I've had dogs for over 40 years. I'm the annoying person who will stop strangers just to ask to pet their dog. I have experience with puppies through to seniors (they're my favorite), have no problem administering medications, and am proactive in meeting their needs. And if your dog is up for anything, then they can expect lots of exercise, snuggles, and new experiences. I am available for active services through August 7 during the week. After August 7 I am available for services most weekends (Friday after work - 5 PM - though Sunday night). If I am house and pet -sitting, I will stay at your home overnight and take care of your pet actively during the day unless you choose otherwise. Safety and comfort are my top concerns. I am a Private Pet Care Insurance-Secured sitter so you can feel confident booking with me. For new clients, I may ask for a pre-booking meet and greet to ensure we are a good fit. For boarding and daycare requests: Because I care for my own pet along with yours, I require proof of current vaccinations: Rabies, Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, and Adenovirus (Hepatitis) prior to booking. Whatever service you select, I will work with you to understand your and your pet's needs and tailor the experience. When I host your pet in my home you can expect a clean home and large, grassy, fenced yard. Your dog will be on leash outside the property unless you give permission to do otherwise in designated off-leash areas. Our dog sleeps part time in her kennel and part on our bed. Your dog is welcome to do the same. If I am in your home, you can expect me to leave it the same or better than you left it. I'll even water your plants if requested.
“Kaylah was great. She sent pics & info about their activities every single day. When we returned we found more notes, a well cared for house, and a happy dog. Kaylah was so tidy and such a good communicator, not to mention expert cuddler with our pup we will definitely be asking for her again. Thanks Kaylah”

“Michael is wonderful! He took my older dog to his home where she had a great time and then came twice a day to feed my cats, clean their boxes, pick up mail, and water some potted plants. I appreciate the care he gave my dog because she recently had shoulder surgery and extensive therapy. She is also somewhat dog selective but he took that in stride and she happily went on walks with him and car rides which she loved. He sent me pictures and I could tell by the look on her face that she was enjoying herself! This means a lot to me because of her age and makes traveling easier when I know she and my cats are in good hands!”

“Fudge loves, Loves, LOVES when Chris E. stays with him while we are away! And I appreciate the pictures, videos and peace of mind knowing that he is well cared for, loved and in his own home.”

“Lexi was great with our older dogs and young cat. Prompt, friendly and easy to work with-she followed our pet’s care instructions very well. I would not hesitate to recommend her!”

“Kiana took great care of our dog and two cats while we were out of town. She did everything we asked her to and left the animals happy and well taken care of. Thanks Kiana!”

“Kate was great! I have never left my dogs with a stranger before and right when I met Kate I knew everything would be fine. She gave updates every day while we were gone and she even washed the bedding and remade the bed before she left (which I would never expect her to do)! The house was exactly how we had left it and I could tell the dogs had gotten plenty of attention while we were gone. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Hannah did an amazing job with our home, 3 dogs and old cat. She provided pics throughout her stay, was proactive and communicative, and our home was spotless when we returned. Our pets immediately loved her, too!! I highly recommend Hannah and will use her again.”

“Jenn was absolutely fantastic! Jeff and I felt completely at ease away from our pets knowing Jenn was looking after them. Jenn communicated well and spent a lot of time interacting with our cat and dog. We are thrilled with the level of care Jenn provided and will absolutely use her again.”

“Gunner was wonderful with our Newfoundland- Abby, and our cat-Wendy. He stayed in our home for 9 days, it was neat and tidy when we got back. He walked Abby daily and he kept us up to date with daily messages and pictures. Would highly recommend.”

“Adia was fantastic with our big dogs and was great at giving our 4 yo Bernese his medicine and ear wash and followed our complex feeding regimen. We trusted her with house sitting and she exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend”
“Holly exceeded our expectations! We were coming in to town for a wedding and needed to bring our pup but staying at hotel. Inquired with Holly her willingness to spend the afternoon and evening with our boy and she was so responsive which helped us plan efficiently and without worry. THEN, we received excellent updates throughout the evening letting us know how good of time our schnauzer was having and great pictures. It was so reassuring and allowed us to have a great time with our friends. We’ve hired other sitters before and it frustrates us when we don’t hear from them but Holly nailed it!! Lastly, when we got back, our pup was his happy self, so comfortable and tuckered out from a such fun day. We will absolutely recommend and hire Holly again!”

“Craig is awesome. We had him house sit with our German Shepherd. Took him on multiple walks, and treated him like his own. Craig took some awesome videos and photos of our dog. We will be using his services again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Riverland East
Luke G. did an excellent job sitting for our dog Milo over the weekend. He came over a week early to meet and greet Milo and they bonded right away. Luke left our home exactly as we left it and he even stripped the bedsheets for us. Milo really loves Luke and we will definitely hire him again!

Lexi was the best! We hired her for home sitting and daily dog walks. The house was spotless and in perfect condition when we returned. Our dog, Boots, was nothing but smiles :) Lexi was very reliable, dependable, flexible, and responsive. We will definitely be hiring her again next time we need a dog sitter.

L took such great care of our adult dog and 12 week old puppy. We were nervous as puppies are a lot to manage but L went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Additionally, we had never had a house sitter before so this was a little nerve wracking hiring someone off of an app. Once we met in person I was put at ease particularly because how my skittish Mini Aussie was surprisingly not skittish with L and as it turns out I know their mom and they live really close to us. I would recommend L to anyone who needs house sitting or animal sitting. L is very good with animals, detail oriented, professional, trustworthy and conscientious. We will definitely use L in the future when we travel.
