About: I have mostly taken care of dogs, cats and chickens. When I had my own dogs, I didn’t realize that house and pet sitting was even an option. I would drive them about an hour to a wonderful woman who had converted her former horse property into a place where dogs could run and get plenty of exercise in the horse rink. It was a much better alternative than a traditional kennel but was disruptive to their normal routine and caused anxiety. One trip especially stands out. A snowstorm came through while I was away, and because the property was located at the top of a hill, we couldn’t get to the dogs for three additional days. They were safe and well cared for, but the experience made me realize how much I would have preferred for them to be comfortable in their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and routines. I’m a retired professional now self-employed who is looking for opportunities to combine house and pet sitting with exploring Ada County, Idaho and Clackamas County Oregon. I’m currently pet-free, but I’ve had three dogs, three cats and many chickens over the years, so I understand the companionship pets provide and the importance of keeping them comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. I’m comfortable with both dogs, cats and chickens and would treat your pets calmly and with kindness. About: I have grown up with pets my whole like and have a dog and a cat of my own. I have pet sat many times before from cats to multiple dogs. I personally love walking so I love taking a dog with me! Always willing to help pet owners with whatever they need! I am currently a student at Boise State University. I do not have a job outside of school so I definitely have free time to watch over your pets! I am available Tuesday anytime after 2, Thursday anytime after 2, and all day Friday-Monday! At my own home, I have to make sure my cat stays inside so he doesn’t wonder off. I always make sure doors are closed in the areas he is in. I even have a small cattio (cat patio) which is an enclosed space he can sit in to get fresh air outside. My dog gets a lot of exercise and spends some time swimming in the pool!

Daniel was amazing with my 9 y/o husky, which he had for a full week! He was super communicative, polite, and sent me pictures throughout his stay, which I really appreciated. He got tons of walks and attention, and I came home to a very happy pup! Daniel also left my house so clean and even washed his own sheets, which was such a nice surprise. I felt completely comfortable having him stay in my home, and would absolutely recommend him. I’ll definitely be booking with Daniel again!
Gunner did a great job with my daughter's two large dogs. They can be a handful and he handled any issues that came up with grace and ease. It's hard to find someone to spend the night with two large dogs and he was so kind and accommodating. I'd ask for his help again for sure.
Kara was an amazing cat and house sitter! Both of my kitties take medication and love when people stay with them. They have a very detailed routine and Kara took great care of them. I trust Kara to take care of any home and any animal that she is taking care of. She sent pictures while we were gone and the kitties were so content when we came home.
