She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! About: New to Boise! I have taken care of pets as a side job for the past 20 years and had my own pets. I am currently without a dog/pet. My last two dogs were rescue dogs. I have fostered numerous cats and dogs in addition to having my own. I am a retired public school teacher from SC. I have a kind heart and animals are usually drawn to me. Love the outdoors and enjoy walking pets in them! I am a single empty nester who has been teaching for 29 years. I live and teach near West Asheville. I can stay overnight on school nights, but only if it is within 30 miles. I am available all weekend and holidays (Except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year). My hours at school are from 7:30 am to 3:00. I do have an hour planning/lunch break if you are close to the school. Otherwise, if your pet can't go from 7:30 to 3:00 on school days, then I may not be the best fit. My pets are like my family. I treat them and their owners’ homes as if they were my own. I like to go by the motto 'leave it better than you found it." Your pet will be happy and your house will be clean when you return.

About: I had a dog walking business in middle school and high school. I spent several years in Boise volunteering with Boise Bully Breed and fostered a rescue greyhound before that. I have my own dog, a Great Dane/Border Collie Mix and did formal group training with him through the humane society, so I'm very recently refreshed on training skills (leash skills, impulse control) and have experience handling large dogs on leash. Work office hrs Mon-Fri but my partner is currently home full time so someone is home most hours. I usually bike, run, hike, or go to the dog park with my own dog 2x per day. My partner is home during the day and helps with care. I have a very small fenced backyard. My dog is 4 years old and sociable with most dogs. He will play as much as your dog is willing but is also ok to chill. I can bring dogs on walks on the greenbelt or out to foothills if desired or to the park or dog park. We have an off leash area near the river that we frequently go to. Dogs are allowed on furniture.
“Where to begin... Sam was so accommodating for so many reasons. He allowed us to drop Sunny off bright and early in the morning before the other dogs arrived to make sure he felt comfortable! We got Sunny from the shelter and before that he was a stray, so we do not know what he has been through but he definitely has his guard up when it comes to other dogs. Sam was so patient with Sunny and got Sunny to SAFELY interact with other dogs! We were so happy that we were crying! Please book any service here, you will not regret it. This has changed our dogs life and we hope to be a normal part of the doggy day care! Sam has tons of knowledge and training and is great with all types of dogs.
