Safety, trust & environment
Each pet has different needs so safety and trust are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure the environment is secure, clean, and comfortable. I keep doors and gates closed, remove any potential hazards, and make sure pets are always supervised—especially during walks or outdoor play. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, from feeding and medication schedules to preferred routines, to help pets feel at home and maintain consistency. I also provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so owners always know their pet is happy and safe in my care.

Information Avery L. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs ahead of time. I like to know things like their energy level, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medications, and how they do around other animals or people. This helps me keep them safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
A typical day
Depending on their personality and energy level, we’ll go on long walks, play fetch, and visit pet-friendly parks. For more relaxed pets, I’ll spend time giving them cuddles, brushing them, or playing with their favorite toys. I make sure every pet has fun and feels loved while their owner is away.

Pet care experience
My mom runs a dog rescue called The Rescued Dog, so I have tons of experience handling dogs. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have lots of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages — from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs, whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication, or making sure they get enough playtime and affection. What sets me apart is my reliability, patience, and ability to create a calm, positive environment where pets feel safe and cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own, keeping owners updated with photos and messages so they always feel at ease while they’re away.
