About: I’ve owned, loved, and cared for dogs my entire life, including seniors and rescue dogs. One of my dogs lived to be **19 years old**. I rescued her after her previous owner moved to France, and she even understood commands in both **French and English!** She spent her senior years being loved and spoiled alongside my Havanese, Bella. I rescued **Bella at six months old**, and I’ve had the pleasure of spoiling her ever since. She is 13 now. She’s still going strong and remains one of the sweetest dogs I know. I’m also very comfortable caring for larger dogs. I love my daughters’ Boxer and Pit Bull mix and frequently care for them—even letting them pile into bed with me at night. Dogs seem to communicate with us in their own way, and I’ve always felt that I understand them well. **Your dog wouldn’t just be a job to me—they would be treated like family.** As a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet caregiver, I will ensure your pets receive plenty of attention, affection, patience, and love—and will be treated like family. I am currently semi-retired and therefore have plenty of time to pet-sit and the flexibility to accommodate your schedule. I'm available on weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced yard to accommodate small to medium dogs. We have lots of sidewalks for sniffing the roses and other lovely scents along the way. My home is casual and very dog-friendly. I also live in a gated, well-lit neighborhood in case your dog needs to go out at night.

“I will start by saying i have been a rover sitter myself for YEARS and i am very picky about who my dogs watch. Rich and his family were wonderful with my crazy boy, who was very happy when i.picked him up (a tell-tell sign he had a great time!). I was only visiting in their state and when my schedule did a flip flop Rich was so flexible and understanding it took a lot of stress off of me. Being a sitter myself I know dogs act different with different people, and Rich gave me some feedback of how Lyric was for him (like that he jumps 4' fences. He normally only jumps if we tell him or if he is trying to get to me) - and Rich amd the family handled it well.
