“Dylhan was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. She cared for my babies like they were her own (and her little puppers are so cute and happy!). This was the first time one of my dogs was away from me and he had a great time until the very end while I got to meet the puppies and talk more with Dylhan. He wanted to keep playing! My anxious dog who has had experience away did great as well. Dyhlan made him comfortable and sent me updates with pictures and videos and cared for him when his anxiety made him nauseous. Absolutely can't recommend them enough and very thankful for their help with caring for my babies!”

“Skye and Nolan are fantastic! They took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved all the attention. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

About: Hi, I’m Hailey! I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was little—always rescuing, adopting, or begging my family to let me bring home every creature I found (yes, even bugs and fish!). Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I give my own. My home is full of love and energy. I have an 12 year-old son who is gentle, playful, and absolutely adores animals. I also have a sweet 4 year-old who keeps to herself and doesn’t interact much but loves watching the pets. Rest assured, your furry (or scaly🤪!) friends will be safe, spoiled, and treated like family here. I’m currently looking to do something I genuinely love—helping care for animals—while also earning a little extra to support my family. Your pets will be in loving, responsible hands. I can’t wait to meet them! During the summer, I have open availability, so your pets will have around-the-clock care and attention. I’m home all day and rarely leave except for quick errands. During the school year, I still offer boarding and daytime care—I work very close to home and always come back during lunch to check in. My schedule is flexible and I’m committed to making it work for you and your pets. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. Just let me know when you need care, and I’ll do my best to help however I can. Your pets will be loved, spoiled, and safe here—just like family. We have a big fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, or just relax. I also have friendly dogs who love company, but if your pet prefers space or alone time, I’ll make sure their needs are fully respected. I can easily crate your dog if needed or wanted, but we’re big cuddlers over here and love letting animals sleep with us or on the couch with if that’s something your pet enjoys and that’s something you are okay with. :)
“Michelle was great! She updated me throughout the day of how Doc was doing and had an amazing home. She had other sweet dogs he could play with and a large backyard. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Debi was awesome! We were in town for about 10 days and we wanted to find a good place where our dog, Cooper/Collie-Mix, could go play with other dogs and have some space to run outside (since I was having to work in a hotel room). Debi was totally flexible and empathetic to our situation. She normally only takes small dogs, so this was already a favor to us. She has an entire room dedicated to dog play & filled with all types of toys! Cooper had a blast with his new friends and all the fabulous toys, he was in absolute doggy heaven. The pictures she sent made us feel at ease that we made the right choice! He was tuckered out in the evenings, so we knew he had a great day if exercise & fun! We will definitely call on Debi again when we're back in town. Virtual hug Debi!! Dawn & Mike of Mr. Coops”

“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

“Andrew took excellent care of Loki! He regularly sent pictures and updates. Andrew's calm demeanor complements Loki’s anxious personality, and they worked well together. Loki also enjoyed running outside in the backyard with the other dogs and came back home happy.”

“Elise was great with our dog and clearly knew how to handle dogs. She walked him before briging him inside which is a good way to help a dog connect with someone new. She sent photos throughout the day of our dog relaxing at her house and hanging with other dogs. We'll definitely reach out again when we need help with our dog!”

“Karen was great with our puppy, she walked him twice and he had other dogs to play with and he loves that! She also helped us in a last minute situation and we are grateful for that !”

About: My husband and I both work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods—they’re part of our daily life, receiving constant care, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. We specialize in creating a calm, nurturing space that helps dogs feel safe and at ease, especially if they’re anxious or adjusting to being away from their owners. Our home is quiet, structured, and full of affection, which is ideal for dogs who thrive on routine and reassurance. We also have experience and patience with: • **Puppies** – We can help reinforce basic training like potty routines, crate training, and positive behavior habits. We understand the consistency and attention puppies need and are happy to continue the training you’ve started. • **Senior dogs** – We provide gentle, attentive care for older dogs, including slower-paced walks, medication support if needed, and extra comfort and monitoring to make sure they feel relaxed and cared for. • **Dogs with different temperaments** – Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, or just loves to cuddle, we adapt our care to fit their unique personality. Between the two of us, your dog will always have someone nearby to care for them. We are home full-time and able to give your dog plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind, so we are committed to providing regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and comfort are always our top priorities. Our home is a calm, safe, and cozy environment—perfect for dogs who enjoy companionship and a relaxed setting. Your dog’s daily routine is very important to us, so we do our best to stick closely to their normal schedule. Whether that means regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, or quiet rest time, we tailor our care to meet your dog’s individual needs and personality.
“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

“Abraham and Alma were so great with our pups, they were welcoming and made them feel right at home. Our pups went for a walk and played nicely with the family and their dogs. We got clear and regular communications from Abraham, photos and updates which made us feel so comfortable leaving the pups with them.”

“Poppy loves Debbie and Ryan, She has been introduced to other dogs and does very well. I think she feels the security and presence of Debbie and Ryan and feels comfortable.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
