I have over 6 years of professional dog handling and training experience, plus more than 20 years of personally caring for dogs, cats, rodents, birds, and reptiles. I am a certified Family Dog Mediator, a Collaborative Care Partner, and a Fear Free Shelters Graduate. I’ve handled and trained hundreds of dogs using positive reinforcement based techniques. I have experience working with fearful, anxious, reactive, aggressive, jumpy, mouthy, and resource guarding behaviors. I’ve taught classes, administered medications, trained dozens of skills — and I continue to learn and study every day. Animals are the best teachers! I want to make your dog’s walks fun, enriching, and stress-free. My goal for each outing is to meet your dog’s mental and physical needs — and that means that each walk will be a unique, fulfilling experience. I aim to reinforce all of your dog’s awesome behaviors while making sure we stay safe and have a great time. Your dog’s well-being is my top priority. For those who are interested, I’m happy to provide a bit of basic training, an enrichment activity, and/or to modify the walking plan based on what works best for your dog. I’m skilled in observing body language, defensive dog handling, behavior modification, husbandry, and enrichment. Let’s chat about how walks can be even better for your pup. And be sure to tell your pup I said hello! :) — I currently work full-time as Executive Director of Meridian Canine Rescue. The services I offer through Rover will provide supplemental income in my days off. In addition to my professional duties caring for and training dogs and supervising other handlers, I have a house full of critters whom I adore. I take care of animals all day, every day — and I’m happy to do it! I will use positive reinforcement and force free handling techniques. I’ll reward desirable behaviors and observe the animals’ body language to determine their needs. For walking services, only well-fitted harnesses and flat collars will be used without any application of pressure or aversives. I have the skills, knowledge, and experience to change my approach depending on the individual.

About: I have had dogs around my home ever since I was a little baby. They are a special part of the family. I enjoy their different personalities and getting to know them. I have a flexible schedule where I am able to work from home or the office. My wife stays home full time with our children I have a big fenced yard for lots of outdoor play as well as Winnie which is our dog that loves to play. I also have children that love to play.

About: Hi there! My name is Bayley! I've grown up being around animals my entire life. I've taken care of puppies, kittens, and my chocolate lab and pomchi towards the end of their lives. I love animals and can't wait to meet your pet/pets! I have experience pet sitting cats, dogs, and ferrets. I currently have two adopted huskies from Boise Humane Shelter. I love taking my dogs for hikes as well as camping and days at the lake. I try to take them everywhere with me including dog friendly restaurants. 😋 I am a professional dancer, teacher/choreographer, and performer. Since I am usually teaching and training M-F nights, I have mornings, afternoons, and early evenings available as well as most weekends unless I have a performance. I have a pretty flexible schedule to make sure your animals are well taken care of! I have two dogs and live in an apartment, so I regularly take them on walks, hikes, and to the dog park. I would rather come to your home to take care of your animals unless I am certain that our animals will get along. In that case I don't mind them staying at my place with us! I want your animal to feel safe and comfortable while you are gone. ♥️

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 6, with my first dog Spunky. I love working with all dogs from puppies to the older ones. Some friends and family members have relied on me to house sit and take care of their dogs. Tasks included feeding, walking, picking up poop, among others. I am a teacher so I am available this whole summer! You can count on me to take care of your fur baby when you need it! I am very attentive and friendly. I love going on walks to the park and playing with dogs! I am also very responsible when it comes to checking in on dogs and making sure they are okay.
