When you’re away, I make sure your pets feel safe & genuinely cared for in a way that meets them where they are at. As a lifelong animal lover, my philosophy is that animals are family, not just pets, & they deserve to be treated with that same level of care & respect in every interaction. Having spent time around both cats & dogs, I have developed a deep appreciation for their individual personalities & emotional needs. I am known for a calm, patient approach that helps animals feel at ease, especially those who are shy, anxious, or slow to warm up to new people. I prioritize letting each pet set the pace to build trust, so they can feel secure in my presence. I have been told by several clients that their pets have been quick to warm up to me, despite usually being slow to warm up to others, which I believe is due in part to my approach. When getting to know a pet, I pay close attention to body language, boundaries, & subtle communication cues. Rather than expecting them to adjust to me, I adjust to them, meeting them where they are & allowing comfort & trust to develop naturally over the meet & greet. During visits, I focus on more than just basic care. I maintain routines, provide meaningful enrichment, & offer a calm, attentive presence so each pet feels balanced, secure, & content while you are away. This approach ensures your deeply loved pets are not just looked after, but cared for with intention, patience, & attention to what truly helps them feel at home. I am available in the following neighborhoods: Amber Creek, Cedar Springs, Copper Basin, Heritage Commons, Solitude Place, Sundance, Timberfalls, White Acres.
