“Sydney is very kind and accommodating. When she came to my house she noticed some packages on the door step so she picked them up and brought them into the house. Zero loves her. I am so thankful she was able to give him his medications.”

“Melissa is a great babysitter. Melissa took care of Lucy for four days during our trip out of town, and we were satisfied with her job. We highly recommend her. Thank you for taking care of Lucy, again.!”

“Tina was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my cats while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. She is communicative, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy. I really appreciated the updates and photos. I would gladly book Tina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: Hi! We’re a pet-loving family with years of experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. We have experience with dogs ranging from small breeds to large breeds, as well as cats. We currently share our home with two cats, so we understand the importance of providing pets with love, attention, and consistent care while their owners are away. As a family, we enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Our 11-year-old daughter loves helping with age-appropriate pet care tasks such as playing, brushing, and providing extra attention under close parental supervision. All feeding, walking, medication administration, and primary care responsibilities are handled by the adults. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply a calm and consistent routine, we’ll tailor our care to their individual needs. We understand that every pet is unique and treat them like members of our own family. We are happy to care for: * Small, medium, and large dogs * Puppies and senior dogs * Cats of all ages * Multiple-pet households Our goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pets are receiving reliable, loving care and plenty of attention. We look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. As cat owners, we are accustomed to providing consistent feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box maintenance, playtime, and companionship. We are available for morning and evening visits Monday through Thursday, and offer more flexible availability, including daytime visits, Friday through Sunday. We understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine and strive to provide dependable, attentive care that helps pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. We care for pets in our clients’ homes by following each pet’s established routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and maintain comfort. We prioritize safety at all times, ensuring doors, gates, and leashes are properly secured during visits and walks. We carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions provided by the owner. We respect the client’s home by keeping spaces clean, cleaning up after pets, and leaving everything as we found it. Our approach is calm, attentive, and reliable, focusing on building trust with both pets and their owners through consistent, compassionate care.

“Amazing! I was a little out of her range but she was willing to take care of our cat while we were away. She cleaned more than we asked, sent pictures, and was very responsive. Thank you!”
“Sunni has been great with our dog. This is the 3rd time we have used her and we will use her again with no hesitations! Book with confidence that she will go above and beyond to take care of your pet!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 14. I was a pet sitter three times a week for three years for one of my old neighbors and I regularly pet sit for my roommates, family members, and some close friends! I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs from a range of ages! ** I do have a dog of my own, if your dog is friendly and you feel comfortable, I would love to be able to bring her with me!! ** I do work a full time job, but also in the process of switching out of it and being able to pet sit full time! I’m also a photographer so I may have photoshoots, but they don’t last long! I only go to clients houses. I am almost always available to stay nights if needed to make the pets more comfortable. I love dogs and cats, and pretty much all animals! I’m a fast learner so if there are lots of directions or things needed to be done for the pets, I will be able to pick up fast and make sure they have the best care possible!
About: I grew up on a ranch and have experience taking care of all different kinds of animals and love doing it! I have fostered dogs in my home and I have taken numerous shelter dogs on “day dates” for a break from the shelter. I would love to watch your furry family members when needed and give them love and attention while you are away. I stay at home during the summer, allowing me to do drop in visits and walks at your convenience. I rarely go out of town, making me dependable and reliable when you’re in need now and for familiarity on future visits! I know how to care for dogs and will listen to all of your instructions of when you would like them fed, brushed, and played with. All pets must be kid friendly, as my kids will accompany me on visits to help give your pets the best care possible! Absolutely no aggressive dogs.
“This was the first time I’ve used Rover. I got to meet Amy before hand and introduce her our 3 weens. She checked on them multiple times over Fourth of July weekend and sent photos. Pricing was very reasonable and we came home to happy pups. I would definitely use Amy’s services again.”

About: I am a responsible young woman with a big heart for animals. I have delivered litters of puppies and provided care while they were growning. I have been a house-sitter and cared for others animals while they have been on vacation or working extended hours. I am also a proud owner of a smart beautiful German Shepard that I consider my fur baby. I work in the medical field as a phlebotomist and work early business hours. I am free in the evenings and on weekends I would even be more than thrilled to have them come play with my pup as well! I am respectful and do not drink or do drugs and would never disrespect your home or your animals. I do have two toddler. I am a stay at home mom with some extra free time. I am currently a mom of 2 and a student in college just looking for some extra cash. My days are free typically mid week and sometimes throughout the weekends if planned ahead of time. We start our days early on our feet outside before the heat gets to us. Typically 2 walks a day. Fed daily always access to outside and water.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fischer. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
