Michelle is the ultimate dog mom! I had a short-notice trip come up unexpectedly and was lucky enough to book Michelle for boarding over Christmas. My dog, Emmett, is 5 yo, new to me, and has not had a lot of variety in his life experiences. He had grown to trust me and was enjoying having a human and a house to live in. I was dreading leaving him anywhere. Upon meeting Michelle at our meet-and-greet, I was immediately confident that Emmett would not only be safe and well cared for, but that he would receive affection and companionship. Michelle really understands dogs and was masterful at actively supervising meetings with each of her dogs, Boots, and Frank. She understood Emmett’s desire to sniff everywhere in her beautiful home and he immediately felt comfortable on her sofa. The large, grassy back yard was immaculate and thoroughly enclosed with tall, wood, non see through fencing. Emmett was instantly enjoying the yard with his new besties, Boots and Frank. I appreciate that Michelle supervises all the dog interactions and even has different zones in her house separated with dog/baby gates in case anyone needs to take a break from the others. I had previously been picky; only choosing sitters that had no dogs of their own and no other boarders at the same time. Because Michelle really understands and manages the dog interactions, however, the fact that she had Boots and Frank, as well as another (repeat) boarder, Brody, enhanced Emmett’s experience. Communications with Michelle were clear and timely and I really loved getting pictures and updates so often. I could tell that Emmett was really enjoying being part of a family of other dogs as well as humans and that he was comfortable and not stressed about being away from me. I will almost certainly plan to book with Michelle again and wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone!
Debbie & Ryan are amazing sitters! Excellent communication and a great environment for our Bernese Mountain dog. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing she was in good hands. 10/10 would recommend (and they'll be at the top of our list next time we need a sitter).
Best dog sitters in the Treasure Valley! Justus and her family are amazing. Since moving to the Boise area 10 years ago, I've used Rover many times and can confidently say that Justus and her family are the best dog sitters I've ever worked with. I have two Huskies, a breed that can be overwhelming at times, but Justus had no problems watching both of my dogs. She sends updates and pictures on a regular basis, and is incredibly responsive with timely replies whenever I reach out. I have boarded my dogs with her twice now and plan on contacting her first whenever I need boarding. She makes me feel at ease knowing my dogs are safe under her care. I could not recommend her more if I tried. If you can, hire Justus!
I couldn’t say enough good things about Julie and her family!! They took care of our pup Lucy for both Christmas and New Years and she had such a good time with them and their sweet dog Charlie. She send frequent updates and pictures to let us know she was ok :) we will definitely have Lucy over again!!
Janell watched our dog for us while we were away for over a week. From her regular updates it was it was obvious that he was getting spoiled with love in all the best ways. Emma was absolutely incredible! I have a very shy/scared cat who has never done well at others house. Emma created a safe and comfortable environment for her and had her out of her shell within a few days. Consistent daily updates, great communication, and so much care and compassion for my cat from her and her husband. I cannot recommend enough!
