About: I've taken care of cats and dogs over the years since I was a child. I have done drop in visits, boarded dogs and am good with following rules/directions from the owner. I have had dogs my whole life! I also was in 4-H and have trained dogs. I know some tricks to teach your dog. But mainly my role on rover is, I want your dog to think of my home as a sanctuary and have them have fun and feel loved on their get away. I have always loved animals and they are in safe hands. I have 2 fur babys as well, a pug and a brussel griffon who love dogs and love to play. My schedule is extremely flexible being a small business owner. I never leave the house for work until 9:30 am or later in the day. I am up at 6 am for my dogs. I have lunch break to come check on the pups and work close by to come home for breaks. Since my business is appointment based, I only work when I have appointments booked in my calander. I also will block out time to go check on the dogs. I always am off work Sundays and Mondays and occasional Saturdays. I have a big fenced yard. I can crate your dog if needed when I am not home. I also have a pug and brussel griffon to keep them company who love other dogs. :)
About: We are a family that adores dogs! To me, pups are basically humans and I will treat yours like part of our family. I work from home and love having furry friends around and can’t wait to meet your pups! I work from 6am- 3pm and have the evenings free to take dogs on long walks behind the military reserve. That’s where my dogs are their happiest and I’d love to bring yours. We have a fenced in yard in a low traffic area of east Boise. Your pup is safe with me, I’m on a computer during the day and keep an eye on them to make sure they’re ok!

“My dog is somewhat hit or miss with other dogs. So usually I look for places that do not have other dogs. I have realize that it’s not Rovers policy that sitters cannot take multiple bookings concurrently. However in the past when we have booked somewhere they will have other dogs, the sitter has disclosed this to me ahead of time or it’s on their profile. I didn’t know Kedrick would be boarding two other dogs until I showed up and saw the crates. It would have been nice to know this. I didn’t receive any updates or pictures until on the fourth day when I asked. More updates would be appreciated. Kedrick had her and all her belongings ready to go when I arrived to pick her up which was nice. However somehow when we got in the car there was poop on my hands. Still unsure if it was on her or the crate or bag. Either way, not a great feeling. Probably wouldn’t rebook.”

My dog stayed with Amanda for a few days, and from the pictures and updates she sent me every day, I could tell he was receiving the same level of care and attention I would give him myself. She was also very responsive to my messages and followed all of his care instructions closely. My dog was in the middle of a food elimination trial, so I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone else. Thankfully, Amanda and her family took excellent care of him, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. I would absolutely trust Amanda to care for him again!
Emily did an amazing job with our 12.5 year old Vizsla. She treated her like a queen and took her on walks daily, gave her all the snuggles, and even let her sleep on her bed! I was afraid our dog might not want to come home! 😉 Emily was extremely caring and thoughtful and her communication was phenomenal. We definitely will book with her again!

My regular sitter had an emergency arise at the last minute before a 10 day trip; I have a stubborn Frenchie, and a timid (and flight-risk) new rescued pup. Marie was able to take them in, sent updates daily that were really attentive to the dogs' personalities and needs --my rescue who was too nervous to eat and she worked to find something for her that finally coaxed her into having an appetite. Just the best.
